Mum2Sam - well done you! that's fabulous, I know how eager you were to fall soon I'd really recommend joining the Graduates thread in pregnancy as well as the AN boards, they are all lovely ladies who got their BFPs on the TTC boards. Wishing you a very happy and healthy pregnancy I'd really love to join you but think I may start spotting later today

Good luck to everyone else!

plummymummy · 05/05/2007 22:50

Congrats mum2sam

pinkslippers · 06/05/2007 11:26

Congratulations mum2sam

I hope everyone is ok.

CD 24 i think.

I am fairly sure i wno't be this month haven't really been going for it tbh. I keep thinking it will never happen. i am trying to be positive but i think because i fell pg really quick before and now it seems to be taking a while i'm getting paranoid. lol.

Anyway Good luck all i'll keep my fingers crossed for more bfp this month.

plummymummy · 06/05/2007 12:12

I know how you feel pinkslippers. I fell pg straight away three times and now this is the 4rh cycle trying to conceive. I console myself by thinking that maybe as this one is taking longer to come that I will get to keep it (lost the last two).

scorpio1 · 06/05/2007 19:07

its very quiet here, everyone must be having a lovely holiday weekend!

CD17 here

pobletsmum · 06/05/2007 20:33

Hello everyone,

I was on this thread way down at the bottom, but have been missing in action! Congratulations to all those with BFPs - I haven't read every message, but I think there have been a few BFPs this month. Sorry to all who have seen AF return, and better luck this time round.

I haven't timed BD very well this month, and haven't focussed on TTC vey much (trying not to obsess!). However, I hope you don't mind if I come back & join you again. It's CD28 today, and I don't expect AF until 10th/11th May. I tested today, and got BFN, but i'm only 10DPO or maybe 11DPO. I have had VERY light spotting today (I never normally get this). I'm trying not to read too much into it, but it would be around the right time for implantation, I think. I keep feeling sick too, and even though I know it's too early for that, it just reminds me of last time - I was sick & nauseous throughout my WHOLE pregnancy & labour.

DS was a May baby, which was a lovely time of year, and the sunny weather definitely helped me to recover after a miserable birth experience. Did any of you have a winter baby? How did you find it? I hope I might find out for myself next January...

Soph73 · 07/05/2007 09:23

Good Morning all, hope you all had good weekends.

Mum2sam - congratulations :0 wish I could join you but am spotting this morning so it doesn´t look as though I will be

Pinkslippers - hi there, I also know how you feel, even though it´s only been a few months since we´ve started ttc I´m getting a bit down about it all because it only took this long to conceive ds. However, we haven´t really been "going for it" so I guess we´ll just have to make more effort next cycle.

MrsMcJnr - how´s it going? Started spotting a tiny amount this morning. What about you?

Pobletsmum - hi there, nice to meet you. I know what you mean about trying not to obsess I´m trying to do the same thing myself but it´s not easy!

meto · 07/05/2007 09:38

hiya girls,

hope everyone's doing ok. i'm due tomorrow apparently, tested today thought I saw a line but was prob imagioning it so BFN for me inlaws have gone now so it's jsut DH and I. if my LP phase is 14 days thou (as was pre DS regardless of when I ov'ed) i'd actually have a 32 day cycle so not be due till sat. would it be too ealry today? I see to have gotten over my tiredness/weepyness no syptoms of anything really

soph - hope it's only spotting for you.

mrsJ - anything form you?

wheely - cycle buddy how are you doing?

meto · 07/05/2007 11:15

ooh pob - hiya and welcome. DS is a feb born (was due in march but came early) I love him being a winter/spring baby. althou it is a bit close to xmas but I loved wrapping him up warm in his knitted cardis. hoping for a jan/feb born again this time aorund.

plummymummy · 07/05/2007 16:23

Welcbome back poblet's mum. Ds a summer baby so I know what you mean. I have a winter birthday so wanted to plan for a summer baby (garden birthday parties etc and walking the baby much nicer in warm weather). However, I now feel that beggars can't be choosers so I'm just going for it I keep convincing myself I am pregnant partly based on the amount of times we've done it at the crucial time and partly because I have been getting tingly breasts very early. I had them a week before my period last month, but not 10 days in advance. Oh well, will just have to be patient.

plummymummy · 07/05/2007 16:24

I can't spell - meant to say welcome!

Soph73 · 07/05/2007 16:35

Good luck to you plummy Still no sign of AF for me yet, but I do feel incredibly "periody" - I know there´s probably no such word!

Anyway, am off home in 15 mins so better try and finish some work!! Have a good evening everyone

pobletsmum · 07/05/2007 16:53

Thanks for the re-welcome everyone.

meto - you thought you saw a line? A line is a line, however feint. Fingers crossed for you. Maybe leave it till tuesday/wed then test again? My cycles were always the same as you describe - pre-DS LP always 14-15days, but total cycle lenth varied quite a lot. Haven't been temping since DS, until now, so am assuming things are still the same post-DS.

Well things have taken a turn for me today, and I'm actually hoping that I'm not pregnant this month. On saturday, I must have been bitten a few times by a gnat/fly. Yesterday I had 3 very hard, hot lumps on my arms, about 2" diameter, and 2 smaller bites on my neck. Last night and this morning the bites on my arm started tracking towards my armpits (like long pink rivers flowing out of the bites IYSWIM) so I went to DRs and he said I have the start of lymphangitis (spelling?) and have to take antibiotics for a week, Flucloxacillin. I told Dr there's a possibility that I'm pregnant, and he said I have to have antibiotics or I might develop septacaemia (SP?) which would be far more serious than any other effects on an unborn baby. I'm spotting lightly again today, so not expecting to be pg, but last pregnancy I didn't even take paracetamol unless absolutely necessary, so this wouldn't be a good start for me

Kaleidoscope · 07/05/2007 18:03

sorry i havent posted for awhile, been really busy at work.

congrats to everyone who has bfp's

af was due on or around 2nd may but nothing yet..i have bought a test to do tomorrow morning.

wheelybug · 07/05/2007 18:20

Hi all !

Congrats Mum2sam and kaleidoscope that all sounds VERY promising !

Welcome back pobletsmum - sorry to hear about your bites. Sounds horrid. DD is a January birthday (was due in feb). Its not so bad really apart from proximity to christmas and by now I'm amongst the 'beggars can't be choosers camp'.

Meto - a faint line eh ? Let us know when yuo test again. MrsMc - anything come of the spotting ?? Still imagining every symptom in the book here. Feeling constantly nauseous but that is probably AF coming beacuae am sure it is jsut too early for it to be a real symptom! can't remember what CD/DPO I am here (actually must be CD27 but not expecting AF till thursday/friday).

Kaleidoscope · 07/05/2007 18:32

wheelybug-thanks, I dont know what to think really, i keep analising every symptom, my boobs do feel tender..and bigger..but ive got low backache which would suggest af was on its way..have bought a twin pack of clearblues not the digital ones..and im testing first thing.

scorpio1 · 07/05/2007 18:40

hey, CD18 here, time going really fast!

How is everyone?its gone quite quiet on here!

i cant pinpoint my ov this month so im just going from CD14 being ov-my eriod due a week thursday.we have tried really hard!!

wheelybug · 07/05/2007 19:32

Let us know Kaleidoscope - fingers crossed. I think clearblue non-digitals are more sensitive than digitals so probably a better option.

lissielou · 07/05/2007 21:37
