I'm due to ovulate anytime from today to Saturday and then af will be on the 8th! Anyone else at a similar stage and want to buddy up??

I am going a bit mad everyone. I ovulated last week (20 or 21st) and am not due af until next Thursday (8 July) and every time I get a twinge in my stomach I wonder whether it could be something! How early is too early to test? I know I know I said I would wait until next Saturday to test, but I am starting to feel rather impatient! I know I historically have a shorter than average follicular phase in my cycle, and so the wait is making me go rather stir crazy...

Can I join you? Am going totally crazy waiting it out on my own. Think I Ov'd around the 20th. Only dtd once, late on the 19th. So I guess conception could have taken place any 5 days after that. I'm feeling a little vague as we weren't using any OPKs and my cycle can be erratic. Started to notice tingly nipples by the end of last week and now on full blown feeling very tender and swollen. I'm drinking more water and peeing more but that's probably because I'm drinking more water!! Ugh. I'm not entirely sure when AF is due. I think maybe the 6th July? That seems absolutely AGES off. I have a whole drawer of internet cheapie pregnancy tests at home but it seems far too early to get a positive (and yes I have been testing!) I'm sure I'm going mad because I can only roughly be 7dpo which is surely far too early for symptoms to appear isn't it? isn't it????!!!!

Hi @Dolly! Yes, let's try to hold out together! Symptom checking can be such a minefield. Mine could so easily be what I usually get the week before af, so I don't know what to think at all.

I'm also due to test or af next week (Tuesday) hope we all get the results we are waiting for @muffin @dolly

Does stuffing your face with chocolate hobnobs count as a symptom? I've just come in from work and working my way through a packet. I'd like to think I usually have more self discipline than this but I evidently don't

I'm 29, this is my 1st month trying.

It's baby no.2, no.1 is 18 months old but was a bit of a miracle as was told I couldn't conceive naturally.

My cycle length is about 34 days, I had 2 positive OPKs on 18th and 19th June. When would this mean I ovulated?

Me and dh had sex 17th 18th 19th but reading this thread I'm now panicking that we didn't do it after these dates?

I'm due AF on around 3rd july

I don't understand my anatomy, help!

Hi whytheheck! It's a bit crazy this 2ww business isn't it? I hope you only have to do it once! Can you imagine days before HPTs? How stressful that must have been.

Hope you're somewhere nice belle. By rights I should probably wait another week to test. I'll never hold off that long though! If I can hold out until Sunday then I'll be doing well.

Honestly weatherwax I found the acupuncture a bit sore! I don't mind though if it works! I also saw great results for progesterone in a study of women who had 750mg vitamin c so I'm going to neck those effervescent thingies like berocca with a vengeance! Also ow have my magnesium oil. I'm a walking supplement! Easing off the ones for egg quality for now and focussing on the hormonal ones. CD6.

Dolly 7dpo isn't necessarily too early for symptoms to appear so fingers crossed! Some women report knowing they were pregnant with their second child quite early on because they had the same early symptoms as with their first so who knows! Hobnobs are totally a symptom

Whattheheck, you are definitely in the game with those dates! Ideally, continue to have sex for a day or two after positive OPK because usually you ovulate 12-24 hours after the LH surge which leads to the positive OPK. However, you're fertile for 5 days leading up to ovulation so you are totally in with a shot!

Positive OPKs don't actually show ovulation, just the surge of the hormone that should lead to it. You probably ovulated if you have a positive OPK. To be totally sure you have to take your temperatures every morning and look for a temperature rise after ovulation, but this is optional.

I'm feeling very stressed out this morning. I keep freaking out because I think I'm pregnant (and all that will entail) and then hitting the pits of despair when I think I'm not. This will be our last month TTC as DH has decided enough is enough so it's this or nothing.

Thanks guys, I'm in Spain it's sooo hot hardly getting any sleep, keep having strange dreams (probably the heat) boobs are very tender and keep getting twinges too, currently 10days po so could just be pms but I hope not! How are you all doing?

Sounds promising symptoms belle. I cracked and POAS this morning. Roughly 9DPO. Of course it was a BFN. Feeling really miserable about it. My right boob is so sore it feels like it might drop off. Seriously starting to wonder if there's just something wrong with my boobs! Am contemplating binning all of my HPT stash and just waiting it out in blissful ignorance. If they're in the house I find it hard to step away from them!

What test did you use? Could still be too early as may not have implanted yet. X

Missdolly same here. 9dpo, tested today (as woke up from a dream where I was pregnant) and bfn.
Either too early or a no. It's so stressful.
Let me know the outcome for you I'll try and hold off till Monday now :-)

Oh boo! Sorry to hear about your BFN too whytheheck. Good luck holding out. I should do the same. Im so sick of seeing BFNs. I'm using cheapy internet sticks belle which apparently have the same sensitivity as a FRER. I'm beginning to feel sceptical. I've developed two huge zits on my chin today. Together with the sore boobs my hormones are obviously in overdrive but is is PMT or BFP?!?

Dolly! I had 2 days where just my right boob was really sore! Wtf is that all about??

Well I was so sure I was going to stay strong and not test this morning but then I had to get up in the night to pee (I never normally have to do that!) and then felt pretty sicky when I woke up so I cracked (weak) and of course it was another, white as white BFN. Arghh! My silly body! giving me all these fake symptoms!

I'm half tempted myself to go the pharmacist an test but I am going to hold out and see don't want to be disappointed on holiday! If I was home I would have been testing non stop aswell 🙈 @dolly still early yet tho when are you due af? Mines Tuesday. Horrible this waiting game

I'm keeping my fx for you belle. I'm not totally sure when Af is due to be honest. I have a slightly erratic cycle! Maybe Thursday/Friday next week. AGES off!! I don't understand though, how, if my hormone levels are high enough to be giving me symptoms then surely they'd be high enough for a BFP! I've binned all of my HPTs! In the wheelie bin outside my house so there's no coming back! I'm not testing again until next week. This is absolutely messing with my head!

dolly its early yet, you might still get that BFP! Is that definitely it for you after this month? Do you have DC already?

belle2008 stay strong! I'm addicted to POAS but I agree on holiday, don't set yourself up for a potential disappointment (especially as it might still be a false negative!)

I think that's definitely the best attitude to take belle . Yes, sadly it's the end of the road for us mctufty, dh has decided we should stop with the two fab DC we already have. It's not an easy decision for me as I desperately want another but it's not an issue you can force. I feel so much better for binning all the tests!! I'm so glad I did that. I've decided I'm not going to test until at least Wednesday. We have a meal booked at a posh restaurant a week on Saturday. I made the booking months ago. If it turns out that I'm pregnant I will probably cancel it as I won't be able to enjoy it but if I'm not I shall go and eat and drink and try not to feel too sad. I now think my body is playing tricks on me and it will turn out I'm not pg but at least now the sticks have gone from the house I don't think about it ALL the time.
