I'm due to ovulate anytime from today to Saturday and then af will be on the 8th! Anyone else at a similar stage and want to buddy up??

Can I join? Think I OVd yesterday. AF due 3rd July. I had an ectopic last year, got pregnant first time round. Now I've been trying since January with no luck, however, was stressed about trying again so this is the first month when I feel we've really DTD more than enough times prev-ovulation.

I have spotting almost entire LP, but have had tests and doesn't seem to be anything wrong, but that makes it a bit more stressful!

Tell me about it McTufty, we seem to be the same! I was 36.68 (peak OPK day) then 36.27, 36.56 and today 36.67. Which is pretty shit all in all. You detected LH surge too didn't you? Would we still get that if it was a fail on the ovulation front?

But also my boobs are aching. But could be because AF is 10 days away.

adriana yes I think so - you can get an LH surge but no egg actually be released. However I also have been reading about how unreliable it can be as a method because it depends on so many factors e.g. how much sleep you've had. How long have you been charting? Do you normally get a thermal shift?

Also an odd anovulatory cycle is normal - fucking frustrating, but normal so I'm trying not to think about it.

Yeah best to give it a few cycles before worrying :-/ I've only been charting for just over a month. I did get a half degree temp spike last month but I'm paying no attention to it. My sleep and temping time is constant during the week and not far off on the weekend, what about you?

Best to try ignore all these things throw all these methods in the bin and just shag no matter how impatient I am

I've been using Ovia and more recently converted to Fertility Friend as well, OPKs and temp, although I'm not too sure I'm good at the whole temping thing. I don't think I have the right thermometer either.. do you need a specific one? I have just been using one we have in the house!

I definitely need to upgrade my thermometer by the sounds of it as mine is only to once decimal place compared to your temps adriana and mctufty

I was thinking the same muffin regarding the heat!

I got mine off Amazon Excited, throw in Basal Body Thermometer in the search. Think it was on offer for ~£15? I believe that the temp shift after O is 1/2 a degree so not much

I got mine off Amazon for £5.95, maybe it's just a shite one!

CB peaked on CD33 so I think AF is due monday the latest!

since coming off the pill my cycles have been irratic and AF disappeared for 3 months with no explanation! took provera and this is my 2nd cycle since then.

This is my ovia app ovulation is down as 17th but could of been the 18th as I had positive opks on 15th/16th but I don't understand why is decodes u only have 1 fertile day after opk when u can ovulate up to 3 days after? What's everyone's thoughts?? I think we give it a good shot. X

I've ovulated today I think strongest opk yet. I'm trying to not be as wound up this time but the tww just seems to take forever! It's so hard DTD in this heat!!

Thanks McTufty, fingers crossed all round. Also doubt BBT but it wasn't working that well so I've just splashed out for a clear blue fertility monitor from eBay and this is my first month using it.

@sunshine I thought after a positive opk you ovulate 12-24 hours after? But not 100%. Also I guess the sperm should live for a few days in there anyway!

Has anyone else on here started going crazy looking at symptoms yet? I've got really sore boobs, nausea and bloating but of course they can so easily be pre-AF things. Plus I've found out today that I've put on a couple of lbs (pre-AF weight?).
I'm acting like a lunatic poking my boobs every 5 minutes!
Not due to test for another week tho...

Hahaha @Alexsmum i've also been poking my boobs! And squinting in the mirror trying to judge if they look fuller although it's way too early!

Thanks hazel I've googled on a few occasions 😂 and have read from 12-36 hrs and that's what it says on my clearblue opk leaflet. But who know for sure, I know I can only guestimate as I don't temp.
I just feel as tho the app should count the two days after positives as fertile days really and it doesn't.

alex I don't tend to symptom spot until 2nd week (then I go a bit silly) sore boobs has not been a symptom for me until 7/8 weeks however dizziness definitely is and the bloat and peeing more.

mrsjones dtd in this heat is a bit gross with all the stickiness 😂

I'm so glad I'm not alone @hazel! It's driving me nuts. I know it's too early but I can't help myself. And then of course I'll test next week and it will be a bfn, so I'll test the next day, and the next day, and I'll have no money or brain cells left .

@sunshine the bloating has been really bad. I blooming look pregnant if nothing else! I don't remember having that with my son but I've heard it can be different and it was 7 years ago

Yep is a bit gross but needs must and all that haha! Wasnt going to miss a chance (cue lunatic face!) Jumped in the shower after the obligatory 30 mins post coital rest! 🙄

@kittykat I was on provera, how have you found it coming off? It's been a real nightmare for me. Last injection was Sept last year and it took me until Feb to have an AF but then didn't stop bleeding for 3 months! Had to have Dr intervention and now AF symptoms are terrible every month

My boobs still hurt. It's way to early to have symptoms though...

Can I join? Due on tomorrow and tearing my hair out. Did a pt on Monday early Superdrug one and think it was a false positive, did a frer yesterday and negative. This is cycle 8 and fed up so hope tomorrow is a good day!!
