Sainsbury's pregnancy tests 🤔

Hi,

Yesterday I bought two Sainsbury's tests... after a quick google it's emerged that apparently these aren't too reliable. Anyway.. I took one yesterday which had an extremely faint line, and the pics on here are today's tests (which are a tiny tiny bit darker than yesterday's). I think I'm due for my period quite soon and feeling really crampy today.

What are your experiences with Sainsbury's tests? Are they a load of crap?

I'm literally about to do a Sainsbury's test in the next 20mins (after a 4 hour hold - flipping bursting!!). One of my symptoms has been increased peeing, so this has been the longest 4 hours ever.

Hoping for a BFP but prepare for a BFN.

Hi ladies… not having major confidence in these Sainsbury’s tests… did one this morning and there seems to be a faint line. If I hadn’t read this forum I would think I was pregnant. I’m hoping to do a CB test later today! Crossing fingers for a BFP 🥺

So I just took a CB digital test after getting the faint line on the Sainsbury’s- BFP!!!! I’m stunned!!!!

I use Sainsburys and with my last pregnancy I got a VERY BFP that came up really quickly. I was surprised at how quickly and strong it appeared so tried another brand and had the same thing. It was because it was twins (sadly I miscarried). But I think the tests are pretty good in my experience.

Your test is a very clear line mine looked like this when I wasn't pregnant..

There's a clear difference but you can see why people dislike these tests I personally have stopped buying them.

Joining this convo in 2022. MC last month at 11 wks and absolutely devastated. I did this Sainsbury’s test and both times within the 5 min time frame it was a negative. First test done and just left as result wasn’t what I wanted. The following day as I’m about to do the second test I see that there is a line on the first one. I Google to see that this could be an evaporation line. Then do my second test. Again a negative but then the line appears a few hours later and is stronger then the first test. I’m thinking it’s an evaporation both times but just curious as to why the 2nd test, done 24 hours later is stronger.

Sainsburys are pretty bad with evap lines. I bought a sainsburys test just because it was the cheapest and I didn’t think I was pregnant. It showed a positive line quickly within the time frame. After 24 hours the test looked completely different! I am pregnant but j think it evaporates pretty poorly. I could still see my positive result but there was lots of other strong lines too.

So currently due on my period today and no sign! Been trying to conceive this month and have taken two sainsburys pregnancy tests. The top one is 3 days ago, and the bottom is yesterday. Do you think it's the start of a positive or an evap?
Any opinions are much appreciated

I can definitely see a line, which appears to be darkening. I'd get a pink dye test for tomorrow.

@Cash4gold hi I think I can see a shadow but I had false positives with these tests so I'm not sure! When's your period due?
