Thought I'd start a July bus, I'll be due to test around the 3/4th (because I'm impatient mostly). Fingers crossed for us all!

I am using the pregnacare ones too and was worried about it too.
I actually thought it had happened to me too but it turned out I'd worked it out wrong
I think I'm going to finish the ones I've got then get a different brand just in case.

TTC1 since Dec2016

I've just had to have a few months off as when i had a miscarriage they found I had a large ovarian cyst and the doctors advised against ttc however surgery is now over and I'm back!
Hoping for BFP mid-July however I'm not actually sure what date my AF is due because I haven't been tracking and my head has been a bit all over
Excited to try again and get back to it.

Cd 9 today of a 26day cycle.

Fw starts today.. let the bd'ing commence.
We follow the sperm meets egg plan and will be using conceive plus. We used that the cycle we conceived but ran out for last month..doh.. so I'm all stocked up
Also using opk's and temping... last cycle ttc before my hol..will resume in sep if im not successful 😣

Mamasbook that was my plan too... I'm CD14 at the moment, and we baby danced on 10,11,12 & 13 (and probably tonight! 😂)... But just found out DH has to go away with work in the morning for the next 3 days... which is probably the most fertile part 😫😤

It's my fw and we were trying for everyday but DH as said we need to rest tonight to 'build up the reserves!' will it matter if we miss a day?! Had a flashing smiley this morning

mrsjones I wouldn't risk it and would see if u can dtd tonight as I'm presuming a flashing smiley means today is your ov day? What ov stick are you using? We've std cd 9, 10, 12 and 13
Today is cd 14. According to Ovia I ovulate on cd 17. I'm going to buy some cheap ov sticks. When am I meant to use them? What day and time?

Just bought ovulation sticks called clear and simple from Wilkos. Yay. Shall I wait till tomorrow?

@mamabooksbabynumber2 I'm using the clear blue digital opks. A static smiley is supposed to be ov day. I've also been using the cheap ones and didn't get a strong positive this morning. Nearly but not quite. I think DH is feeling the pressure to perform! Never had this in 10 years of being together bless him! I'm CD 17 on a 32/33 day cycle. I'm using the clue app and it's predicted ovulation for tomorrow. I've also read about leaving it a day to allow 'quality' swimmers?! Is that right? I have no idea

mamabook and ems to be honest I found using opks a bit of a pain and have stopped using them as my cycle varies a bit from 28 days to 32 days....some of the things I found hard (but hopefully you won't) is not knowing which days to test so buying them for everyday between 10 and 20.

You're not supposed to use first thing in the morning as it doesn't pick it up... so you have to test between 10am and 8pm I think (which for me is pretty much in work or commuting!).

It also says you have to have not peed for 4 hours leading up to testing, and i just can't last that long .

And on a final note, if you get a smiley face (which i never have) does that mean you are ovulating that day... but would you not need to know a few days before to get those days in too?

Hence for me it's just dtd as much as possible in the fertile 2 weeks to increase our chances of getting it right (but I know that won't be ideal for everyone, so hopefully you get the hang of opks better than me).

No idea cheese :-/ I got 6 days of flashing smileys (first ever!) then a static smiley yesterday. DTD yesterday but not Fri or Sat so have a horrible feeling we've failed on that front. Gah. Will DTD tonight too.

Think you need to be DTD on the couple days running up and on the actual day?

Thanks for your replies! From what I've read it's best to test with the cheap opks a couple of times a day preferably in the afternoon and evening. This would be a pain and I am thinking DH might feel this is too much pressure. I suppose once you do get a positive opk this tells you that you're about to ovulate within 12-36hours so at least you have chance to dtd at least once before actually ovulating.

@Mamabooksbabynumber2 let me know how you get on with those from wilkos. I have a wilkos near me so would be easy to get hold of.

Thanks, withcheese, it's been a hard 18 months, with plenty of positive thoughts and blessings-counting, but my moods do swing. Today is a down day; what I wouldn't give to be one of those who got pregnant in the first couple of cycles.

When I do opks I tend to do 11am and 4pm, mainly as I'm not teaching at those times! Usually it's 2 or 3 hours after my last wee, never 4.

Urgh, confusing charts. I normally ovulate around day 18 but my temps are up. Could it be the hot weather? This morning was way up higher than its ever been before ovulation. I did a ov test yesterday and there was a line but it wasn't as dark as it normally gets for ovulation. I'm going to be gutted if I've missed it.

Feel your pain withcheese OH is away with work until Thursday and I'm CD 10 today, hoping smiley faces hold out until Thursday and we don't miss it!

ladydolly I would think it's the weather if your ov sticks aren't indicating ov?

First day of fw today and I'm super excited!!! Call me an optimist here but I'm excited this is the week to give it our best shot! We dtd last night so I'm on a 3 day streak so far! 5 more days of bding and I'll be happy that I've given it a good go is anyone else finding this hot weather hilarious to dtd in as you're both so hot?
