Hello ladies! So we're currently trying for baby #2. Came off implant in december. AF showed 1st February then again 30th March. My friend suggested the app Flo. According to the app if im regular i should have ovulated around 12th. We DTD every other day from AF finishing. Now im having mild cramps in lower belly. (I think its in my head though!) Just got to enjoy the 2ww (yayy)
Anyone else ttc and their brain finding symptoms everywhere?

I had to Google it lol. Im 36.50 but have never temped so im assuming thats my base temp. So will soon see tomorrow when i temp again

LoveRainbow02 · 05/05/2017 18:58

I keep forgetting to take my temp as soon as I wake, that's why I gave up with it but I'm adamant this time that I'm going to track it properly. I have an alarm set for the same time every morning now lol.

pocketfullofsunshine · 05/05/2017 20:08

Same here!! Haha. 6.30 :(

I can't get my head around temperature taking. I'm too fidgety when I wake up then doze for a bit.

I've got 4 days until I can test. Currently horrifically bloated, tired and spotty. I've gained 6lbs in 2 weeks.
Conclusion: I'm either pregnant or just getting fat and need to exercise more. Probably the latter, though that's not too bad because I'm quite small frame and I did read somewhere that women need to carry a bit more weight to actually get pregnant so it might help.

pocketfullofsunshine · 06/05/2017 10:13

@maisy im exactly the same to be honest. This is my 2nd day of temping so have no idea what to watch out for. Already been naughty and took it like 10 mins ago. Had an awful night with DS so needed the 3 hours to check. My excuse anyway ;)
I think the extra weight is when you're severely underweightto be honest. When i conceived DS and carried him i was a size 8, 5ft 4 and under my ideal bmi. Wasnt unhealthy though and didnt look starved or underweight

@pocketfullofsunshine I was thinking back to the both of us getting strong positives the day our periods were due. I know I geared up to ovulate and didn't with using my clearblue digital opk. I was thinking would it be possible that we maybe ovulated on the day our period was due?

MaisyPops · 06/05/2017 11:18

pocketfullofsunshine
Love your excuse Grin

The weight thing has been bothering me because I used to be very underweight and now am on the healthier side of underweight. I made the mistake of reading online that if you were underweight through teens etc it can affect the your fertility as an adult. Probably just worrying though.

pocketfullofsunshine · 06/05/2017 21:46

@love ooooh!! Thats a good point! Hmm.. i never thought of that, so that could make us 10dpo?
Oh fgs!! 2ww? More like 4ww!! Haha

LoveRainbow02 · 06/05/2017 21:58

I was just sitting thinking today and the thought popped up lol. Not sure if it's possible right enough but stranger things have happened I suppose. I'm getting really fed up of waiting now. I'm not going to wait the 2 weeks like doc said. I'm going to ask for a blood test 3 days earlier before I go my weekend away.

pocketfullofsunshine · 06/05/2017 22:40

Thats such a good idea hun!
Think im gona ring drs on monday as will be 12 days late then "/
And technically 12dpo if positive opks are to go by. "/

OP posts:
LoveRainbow02 · 07/05/2017 08:15

It's just all so confusing isn't it especially when we aren't used to being this late.

pocketfullofsunshine · 07/05/2017 09:42

Driving my nuts if im honest, and i dont think temping is a good idea. Im on day 3 and already cant be consistent! Gone from 36.50 to 35.98 lol. Might knock it on the head. Look at this dip

I have no idea with temping too. This is my chart for the last few days. Only thing I know is that temp should be elevated if preg lol.

pocketfullofsunshine · 07/05/2017 10:12

What app is this hun? And yeah, i heard that but i have no idea what elevated for me is "/
Should have waited for af to temp really. And this morning i woke up a little bit and went back to sleep, then checked temp lol so thats why its whacky.
I read online for some women the normal bbt is around what i had, then read their elevated can be what i had too.. my 36.50 is apparently borderline.. so instead of shedding light on it, its drove me even more nuts.
BFN again today, drs tomorrow for me had enough now x

OP posts:
LoveRainbow02 · 07/05/2017 10:18

It's ovia fertility app. It's quite good. I think if you have a solid 4 hours sleep without gaps in between you are fine to take your temp. Aw another bfn 😔. I've not tested for a couple of days. Seen too many bfn the last 11 days! Gonna ask for a blood test on Thursday before I go away. Starting to think it's just a long cycle but don't understand why as this has never happened to me before. Doc will probs say it's after effects from my miscarriage in February but 2 cycles after it were fine so don't see how this cycle can mess up randomly.

pocketfullofsunshine · 08/05/2017 09:08

Will have to give it a go i think :)
And yeah it doesnt make sense.. i was 15 days late last month but i had a chemical pregnancy "/

OP posts:
LoveRainbow02 · 08/05/2017 09:48

@pocketfullofsunshine sorry to hear that. Would be hard getting a positive for it to quickly change again. I'm just scared incase it takes me 2 years to conceive again. My miscarriage in February has been the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with 😢. Did you get an appointment with your doc today?

pocketfullofsunshine · 08/05/2017 11:09

I havent hun, hubby said i was late 15 days last time so to try and wait until mid week.
Unsure what the drs will do tbh. I know they'll do a blood test, but im so nervous. I know im not pregnant, but dont want to see / hear BFN :( x

OP posts:
LoveRainbow02 · 08/05/2017 11:37

Yeah it's horrible seeing bfn after bfn! I've got the docs tomorrow at 9. I just really want to know for sure before I go my weekend away. Last thing I want to do is drink if there is even a slight chance I could be. I do still have symptoms but the longer I go without a positive test the more discouraged I feel.

pocketfullofsunshine · 08/05/2017 12:38

Im rarely cramping now :(
I have no idea whats going on. Fingere crossed for your doctors appointment tomorrow hun. Also im sorry to hear about your miscarriage, couldnt ever imagine going through that :(
Sorry if i seem hit and miss sometimes, im like a zombie in the mornings haha

LoveRainbow02 · 08/05/2017 12:43

I'm setting myself up for a bfn to be honest but I'll mention the faint test to her too and see what she says. I still find some days really hard after the miscarriage. Found out a few weeks back my other halfs sister got pregnant accidentally so that was a massive blow. Chuffed for her but so sad for myself. I'm not a morning person either lol, takes me a good couple of hours to fully wake up! Looking forward to a nice break this weekend. I should have been in my fertile window this weekend too so I guess that's screwed considering how late I am haha!

pocketfullofsunshine · 08/05/2017 13:11

Yeah I've been on both sides of that fence. Got pregnant accidentally with my DS and now I'm trying to conceive it's just not happening. But I can't have the approach of "oh I'll just stop trying" because I want another baby soooo badly!!
Yeah I said this to hubby. At this rate I'll have missed my next AF too!
How far gone were you if you don't mind me asking?
I never got my chem pregnancy confirmed as such. Got a random positive on a Lloyds digital, came up straight away "pregnant" when I missed my period but the rest were negative. I read online that so many women had false positives from the Lloyds digital alone so unsure what happened there.

OP posts:
LoveRainbow02 · 08/05/2017 13:25

Myself and my partner have had all the tests done and everything came back normal so I don't understand why it's taking so long. I'm booked in for IUI sometime in the summer so hoping that works. When I got pregnant I wasn't using opks or temping, it just happened lol but ever since the miscarriage I've started using opks. I was only 8 weeks along 😔. I've heard so many negative things about the lloyds tests so I have avoided them. You must have been going out of your mind when you got the negatives afterwards.

pocketfullofsunshine · 08/05/2017 14:22

Honestly hun, i must have spent £50 on all different kinds of tests over the period of 2 weeks chasing that positive. I rang the chemist asking what the hell was going on and they said they're very sensitive blah blah. Drove me half insane.
Yeah i cant understand it either. Was with hubby 3 months before we got pregnant although ive known him all my life.
Wasnt trying just wasnt being careful so i know we can get pregnant and pretty quickly too. Dont understand it.
So sorry to hear hun. I couldnt imagine losing a baby :(

OP posts:
LoveRainbow02 · 08/05/2017 14:33

I've got a good support network so they are all helping me through it. I was due on my partners birthday so I'm kinda dreading that to be honest but we are going away that weekend too to make it a bit easier. Only positive I took from the miscarriage was it let me know I can get pregnant on my own.
I now have brown spotting when wiping again, only time will tell if it's going to turn into af 😔. Exactly 2 weeks today since I got that positive ovulation test and now the spotting. Unsure what to think.
