Hello ladies! So we're currently trying for baby #2. Came off implant in december. AF showed 1st February then again 30th March. My friend suggested the app Flo. According to the app if im regular i should have ovulated around 12th. We DTD every other day from AF finishing. Now im having mild cramps in lower belly. (I think its in my head though!) Just got to enjoy the 2ww (yayy)
Anyone else ttc and their brain finding symptoms everywhere?

@CatRen - I know that wont get any symptoms till after 12dpo...so i just chill, no urge to test either lol if AF dont show then i think i will be to scared too LOL

@pocketfullofsunshine - We have older kids, youngest now 18 from previous, always seemed so easy then! I didn't O till CD16, not sure if thats a good or bad thing! we will see, but I have prepared myself that this month isn't it....and next month have already planned out days for AI roughly based on expected O day!

@CatRen okay so far it only started yesterday (4dpo)

• dull cramps lower belly
• cold with sore throat i cant shift (unsure if its linked)
• extremely tired. Struggle to keep my eyes open.

I dont normally cramp until 4/5 days before AF makes her appearance.
Your symptoms sound so promising!!

So new to this, ive just bought opk's to pee on, will give those a blast. I was just happy to get a rough idea of my big O day and go with it, but i think i might start testing for O too. I've heard they can also detect hcg earlier than hpt?

@pocketfullofsunshine - I have CBD opk....love that they are idiot proof LOL smiley or no smiley...no trying to suss out lines .... :)

I think I know too much now, I can even visualize whats happening or not! so 7DPO if the egg is fertilzed it will be floating down which ever tube, nearly at end.....so shouldnt have watched the great sperm race on youtube

Right with you lot, ttc #1 and 7dpo and time is dragging! Going to test on Saturday when ill be 12dpo. Current symptoms are sore throat and niggly tummy pains but 100% think im imagining it!

@louste there was a documentary i wanted to try and dig out, i watched it ages ago. It explains in depth everything. May have to gove that a watch! Haha
I think I'll have to purchase some of those then! We said we were gona have a relaxed approach, so know roughly when the big O is here. The app i have is brilliant you get to update what symptoms etc you have and after 3 months it gives you as close to accurate as you can get based on your cycle and symptoms etc. Even asks you to log period flow and cm.

Been thinking back to when i was pg with DS. Only symptom i had really was severe headaches, but didnt get them until around 8 weeks ish?

@louste I can't seem to find that youtube vid, but I think it's the one I watched a while back. All I get is crappy copyright crap on youtube haha

@Pocketfullofsunshine - I just you tubed sperm race and found it on there, but had watched it ages ago anyway, and I have 5 apps...put the same info in each and each gives me different AF days, 22nd -27th LOL
at least when i do OPK i know when its happening, as with donor I need to be accurate!

@louste yeah i know what you mean, thats why we dtd every other day :) but saying that we always have ttc or not.

@fifteenyearslater wow thats a big age gap! Atleast you'll have a helping hand when you finally have baby. Did your cycles come back normal or did you have to wait?

@pocketfullofsunshine first period came 36 days after I last had a bleed then they've been every 31, 30 and 29 ever since.

I haven't yet used OPKs yet but I'm tempted to start if I don't get a BFP this cycle. Because of work commitments me and my DP can't DTD anymore often than twice a week so it's really important for me to know when my fertile period is. I'm worried that just going by ovulation calculators might not be enough.

I've tried tracking CM but I don't have the foggiest TBH.

Feeling really impatient.

Hi! Just to chime in I think if you're feeling impatient maybe get the opk strips or better yet the digital one so you know for sure if you're "hitting the target"
Good luck, will your first be pleased with a pregnancy? I would have been thrilled at that age!

@fifteenyearslater I had my implant out in December, didn't get AF until Feb, then AF was 15 days late.
I'm with you there on being impatient!
I currently still have cramps in my lower belly, bit of lower back ache and an ache but only in my left boob.
I think I'm SS though haha. But 5 days after ovulation its way to early for AF cramps, I don't cramp until just before and it's only for 1 day. Then I cramp once AF shows her ugly face :(

Hi. I'm new too and ttc#2. I thought I was 5dpo but my ewcm has come back today and brought dull cramps! Worried that I might miss ovulation!

@CatRen27 she has been on at me about having another baby ever since she was able to talk. I'm sad she won't get to grow up with a sibling. She's 16 this year. I'm not expecting her to be much help. She just about leaves her room to go to the toilet and generally walks around with the world on her shoulders.

I think I will get he opks. Although I'm worried I'll become even more obsessive about it. I know there's only 1/5 chance of getting pregnant each month even if you do everything right, at the right time but you can help but wonder why every time AF rears her head.

Do you use them? Have they helped do you think?

@pocketfullofsunshine I can really obsess about symptoms. From what I remember of my previous pregnancy I had cramps in lead up to when AF was due and very sore boobs. Also metallic taste in mouth.

I've tried using conceive plus this month. Will report on whether it's worked for me or not. My DP was away for the beginning of this month, only came back mid last week. So so far, I've only dtd twice this month. Not holding out for much this month.

My OH is so relaxed about it all.

Not used opk's this month, me and hubby wanted to see how it went with a rough giude and tracking cm. Think next month will temp and use opk's if AF turns up next week.

@pocketfullofsunshine - I was surprised when i did mine this cycle, tested CD11, CD13 and got blank circles CBD, was away at a wedding over the weekend, got back tested CD16 thinking i missed it and got a solid smiley, tested again CD17 the same....seems I O'ed CD16/17, I do think they are worth it as I would have not tried this cycle as predicted said CD14!!! but luckily as i tested I know now I O later than CD14

@fifteenyearslater - my son is 21 in June...think he will be in for a shock getting a baby sibling...he works away so he wont be around much to help

@AllTearsFlowFromLove - I am rubbish with CM lol hence the OPK's at least I know 100% if it happens and not having to double guess what my body is doing!

I am still being realistic....no SS as its to early! just need the next 7 days to fly by!!! I hate waiting for anything LOL

I'm no expert either. I just don't want today to have been ov day and me miss it! My cbopk says I ov last Tuesday so I took that as my evidence and had been following that as well as my app. Might just be fate. I'll try and stay up for DH getting home.

Hmm. Opk's for me next month then if this month isn't successful.
Although im now not feeling hopeful, 6dpo and cramping still. Have been for 2 days now. Xx

@pocketfullofsunshine I've had dull cramps ever since ov and they've started in my lower back too. I did CBOPK this month so definitely know a week ago was my positive and that puts me at 6dpo too. Only a week till I can test but I've not got much hope either

@AllTears That's exactly what I'm getting. Hmm. I think I'll end up testing 10/11dpo because i really cant wait haha. We've beem carrying on DTD every other night like we always have to make sure we hit O day.

@AllTears and @Pocketfullofsunshine - Im now 8DPO....and nothing no SS for me as I know its still to early..... :/

@louste I can't help but SS, I've been cramping since ovulation anr havent stopped yet. Its not constant, but it's defo there. Never normally get it (that i know of). But I'm getting nearer to AF due day so could just be that lol x

@Pocketfullofsunshine I normally have what my DH refers to as a melt down day 10 days before AF - emotional overload LOL...not had it yet!

I am noticing twinges etc, but they were probably there before, only noticing now as I'm waiting for AF.....funny how all of a sudden I feel everything and notice the smallest detail which I would probably never even thought about before TTC :O this is driving me nuts! 7 days and counting
