We are not giving up, our PMA is still alive.

Glad she's finally turned up MrsB! Feels odd welcoming her on here! I don't know how you've stayed so patient.

Flashing smiley appeared today so gearing up my DH for some action. I have a feeling that I'll ovulate Saturday which is when we go away with my parents however I won't let that stop me! I want that BFP!

That's great news MrsBarnett, we do have to remember to be greatful for auntflo too as she's part of the process and it's not auntflos fault if Peggy and Doreen can't get their act together.
Having said that I'm still wondering where she is.
Yes hippy any sort of scanty stuff before you full flo is prob classed as spotting. I didn't used to but I have for over 3 years now

Have just booked in a boozy night with my friend for next Friday. My thinking is af will have arrived so I will need to drown my sorrows/wallow a bit. OR I've just jinxed things and will now of course get my BFP by then! Luckily she's a close friend so will be there for me either way!!

Hope everyone is good and gearing up for the long weekend. Wanted to ask some advice - ill be at a wedding on sat and will be 5dpo - was planning on having the odd drink but not go nuts, does that seem reasonable?

@olicat i'd say everything in moderation until you know you're preggers is acceptable. some may disagree but we can't put our lives literally on hold waiting on that positive. i just worked out my friends dates and we realised she was 3-4 weeks gone at my hen weekend and she was blotto! she'd done a test before it and it was negative so just decided to let her hair down. i can't blame her but she does feel guilty. when i say blotto i mean she was like a rubber woman! #drunkymcdrunkerson

@Roseandbee did you do your FRER with FMU? no sign of AF when she normally announces her arrival is promising #keepusposted

well i made it to 10dpo before testing this evening. did a boots hpt and got a BFN. i deliberately didn't do it this morn cos now i can kinda dismiss the BFN as "och that prob won't be accurate cos i didn't use FMU" now i know this makes it almost pointless but it's helping me cope with the BFN. nothing else to report other than a really metalic taste in my mouth #yuck

any nice plans for the holiday weekend? i'm off to a wedding on the east coast of scotland on saturday. really looking forward to it as never been to this town before. other than that, trying to run as far away from another BFN as fucking possible #runbellarun #ifshecantcatchmeitmeansimpreggo #playingtigwithAF

Bella Not doing much apart from opks and trying to dtd every other day. Might try SMEP but 3 days in a row... I'm really lazy...

I'm heading to Cornwall next week so that will be fun. Must get my marking done before that though!

Bella what test did you use? 10 dpi is still early plus you might only be 9dpo or something. I used FRER Fmu on I think 12dpo or maybe 13 dpo and an IC today still bfn.
Full AF is due tomorrow, maybe it'll come without spotting. I did expect some today as what usually happens is I spot 4 days before then 3 then nothing 2 days before and back to spotting the day before.
Have you had metallic taste before? That's a common symptom from what I've read FX

it was a boots test, out of the box so i can't remember what sort to be exact i'm afraid. i know it's still early but couldn't resist the urge even tho i had 1 eye closed looking through my fingers watching it develop. i'm a glutton for punishment really #ownworstenemy

although i had major anxiety today about testing which has subsided a wee bit since the BFN so it's all mind games to calm myself down!

never had a metallic taste before, it came out of nowhere and lasted about 2hrs. i could just be reading into things too much cos i hadn't eaten for a while and do still have mega snotters (soz). #onlytimewilltell

so i'm gonna force myself to get some sexy time in tonight cos if AF rocks up anytime soon ill regret not bothering. iv been "off it" since our smep finished last thurs. too much of a good thing #lazygirltoo

@olicat def go for the bevvy, I would! Even if you were preggers you can't do any damage at this stage. I'm sure it's something like 7 weeks or even later that the placenta actually takes over feeding the bean. Prior to that it's getting all it's nourishment from it's own little egg sack. So a few proseccos are good either way!

Full on family weekend for us. Really can't be bothered, I want to slob around in my pjs but nooooo we've got all the inlaws here all chuffing weekend 🙄

That's what I thought @Hippychic79! And as much as I want this BFP I also don't want to put my life on hold so I thought sod it, book it in and deal with the consequences later!

@BellaMoon everything crossed that you were just too early. I don't recall seeing a early response boots test before so it may have just been a standard day of missed af one. Ooo good symptoms too! Fx
