well came off pill mid Jan and AF arrived within a week. I still didn't think my body would spring into action so quickly so was shocked when i ovulated. typical 28 day cycle. Cycle 2 was missing peggy, i chased her around the whole month but she didn't appear (and DH prioritised the gym so sexing wasn't as often). Cycle 3 started 3 days early, started SMEP on cd 6, followed it right through to the one for luck which was only last thursday! #sexybitswereonfire

i am taking conception support vitamin from boots, DH has been taking a multi vitamin which includes zinc. we've both overhauled our diets since january, so pretty much only eat fresh produce, hardly anything processed at all (im doing slimming world cos i desperately want to lose weight). we both cut out caffeine completely this cycle too. we used fertility check lube from boots and there was a lot of doggie style in the 3 consecutive days during peak OV.

think that's about it. if i remember rightly, think dolly and moo used lube as well. this seems to be key x

Bella - absolutely fab! Loving it! Apart from creamy cm and metallic taste, any other symptoms over the last week now that you think about it? How are your boobs? Get ready to feel the burn!!

Definitely some similarities with my story re conception vitamins for me and oh (we used Tesco ones), lube (we used conceive plus), SMEP (although missed day 16 as I was away but did 8, 10, 12, 14 (I think), 17, 18 and 19), we were trying from last Aug/Sept but didn't start OPK'ing properly until Jan (this definitely helped as looking back my timing was all wrong). Everything except the doggy style!! Haha! :D

honestly, no, i can't think of anything at all that gave me a clue. even with the cm and metallic taste, i was still like "you're imagining all this". i normally get tender boobies around OV and AF but can't even say iv got that right now. it's all so surreal!

i got up this morning about 5 and knew i needed to pee but couldn't be assed moving so had another wee hour or 2. during that, i dreamt i'd POAS and it was negative but as i was leaving the loo, i saw it change out of the corner of my eye into a positive. so when i woke up, i thought ill go do an IC. did that, then another and when i was doing the 3rd i woke him to say "you need to go to the shop, we have a situation" but he didn't move quick enough for me so i went to tesco myself. by the time i came back he was up and asked me if i was mad cos he couldn't see anything on the ICs. so the CB confirmed it and he high 5'd himself, what a tosser! lol.

he's delighted and has told his mum. iv told my bestie, cousin and aunt.

iv only carried when i told my aunt cos she just burst into tears and told me she'll do everything she can to support me. she's my mums sister and she knows i'm gonna need it hahaha. my mums been gone 18yrs and my aunt has been my rock. she's an absolute diamond so she is xx

I still don't understand smep so I don't think it would work for us. My dr told me when I have my next full cycle I can be back on track. He has no idea how I have no damage from bb2 but thinks it was just be of those things and the positioning was "lucky" because it caused no damage. He has baby down as being 8 weeks at miscarriage and also underdeveloped but my son was too.

Oh my God, how amazing and surreal does it feel just now?!
Sounds like the best clue for pregnancy is literally very little symptoms! I'd only had the creamy CM and that was literally it! Hold out for the lack of symptoms ladies!
And like you said, I'd used the lube, kind of followed SMEP just not as strict as I maybe could have been (and by that, we DTD rhe day before my positive, the morning after my pos and the evening of the next day which isnt SMEP at all actually but gives a bit of hope to those who cant DTD as often!) and hubby had started eating Brazil nut s with the zinc and selenium which is meant to improve sperm quality!

YES! Let's hope your BFP inspires plenty others this cycle!!

I'm doing good thanks! Nausea seems to be much better which I would've worried about had I not had the follow up scan so I'm just embracing it! And like you, seem to be eating more like normal again! #thereishope..... although I quite enjoyed not having to excuse eating like a pig ;-) #carbfiend!
I've got my 12wk scan for 2nd may so you'll no doubt be around the same week so plenty time for your letter to come through! I've got a hen doo this weekend ladies, and it's only the bride-to-be that I'm really close enough to tell but I don't want to cos I want this weekend to be about her. We're staying away overnight with a LOT of boozy antics planned and there's a hot tub I need to avoid.... any good excuses or ways I can avoid subtly?? Good problem to have, but a slight problem none the less....

You forgot to shave your legs 2 days in advance and you have sensitive leg skin so you don't want to risk the hot tub in case it brings you out in a rash ... ? Clutching at straws!

You are on antibiotics for a tooth infection (the only ones that you literally cannot have alcohol with!) - metronidazole - take some tablet looking mints and pop them at regular intervals ...

Alternatively:
Sparkling water and apple juice looks like prosecco ...
Shots of water look like a lot of spirits ...
Drink mixers (hold the spirit) ...

And keep a low profile - once the drinks are flowing and everyone is merry they probably won't pay much attention!

Ps re diet - carb cravings is definitely a thing in 1st trimester, I am reading it everywhere! Same as you it was nice to have an excuse to over eat on crabs but I am definitely very relieved to be able to eat fruit and veg again without retching! Exciting that you have your scan date eek!! What is your EDD again?

Omg well this has cheered me up, congrats Bella! See it is a good Friday! I am slightly jealous of your Christmas due date, despite me saying I wasnt sure about a Christmas baby the other month the idea really grew on me, but least I know someone having one now. I'm a huge Christmas fan! And a Christmas baby is just too exciting! Looks like I'm more likely to have a sales baby as I think full AF has arrived, but I think having no pre AF spotting must be a good thing so hopefully, it will boost my chances for this next cycle.

Oh gosh dolly that is tricky! Yeah I can only think of the antibiotics thing and then erm maybe your on your period and you don't like tampons so can't use the hot tub.... that might throw them off the scent

Thanks for the wine link moo, I was asking about it the other month although I guess I can still have the real stuff. I might also give conceive plus ago as I really don't think I get much ewcm if any, more just watery.

I am CD4 today worst part lol AF gradually going away have a day out planned Sunday so planning on getting merry then.

Not sure what to do this month - might use up my OPKs and maybe try the lube - what ones did you all use again? Is that the same as the preseed stuff???

I booked a wee holiday but AF due the day I go so I'm a bit feart but fx she doesn't appear!!! Ha ha! Don't even mind he not drinking!!!

i echo the antibiotics thing, ill be using that this weekend. the family i am seeing tomorrow at the wedding, i don't see often so they probably won't pry!

just thought of something else i did differently this cycle, i ate loads of pineapple core and made sure i orgasmed during ovulation either during or after the doreen's were released. previous cycles id always gone first!

i genuinely felt the timing couldn't be any better if i'd got upduffed this month as i was due to be born on xmas day, and was a week late so that's a wee nod to my mum who would be absolutely over the moon for me. she was like the pied piper with kids, they all loved her so i hope i'm that kinda mum. xx

Bella after asking me if I was doing SMEP yesterday (and me thinking sod it, too lazy!) I'm definitely doing it now! Got the positive opk today so DH better get ready!

So far DTD CD 6, 9, 11, 13 and we're on 14 so would that be 14, 15, 16, 18? Jesus, my DH will think we've travelled back in time to when we first met...

Still smiling from the BFP, how awesome!! Also, isn't that 3 bfps on a Friday now??? #freaky

9dpo here. No symptoms to report. So obvs getting my BFP 😂😂 feel like I haven't done much right this month though, only 4 times dtd, supper busy, overeating, drank too much,too much caffeine. It'll be utter fluke if I do!!

Amanda i think ill try either pre-seed or conceive plus. I think pre-seed might be the easier one to use as from what i've read you get like an applicator and apply it just before dtd and your DH doesn't need to know, where as concieve plus is more a gel you apply during so it might be ruining the moment if like your dh knows is a baby making thing, although there is an applicator version conceive plus too but I dont know when you apply that?

Sophsta that sounds like a brilliant effort! not sure I could get my DH on board with SMEP
