So we are rolling on to thread #five –
We are not giving up, our PMA is still alive.

Put pure and simply,
We want to have babies,
God, please help everyone of these lovely ladies.

We support each other,
We are funny and kind,
And we will not be giving up,
Until we see that thick BFP line.

hey ladies

so so sorry for my absence over the last few days.

wee update from me is that i had a super busy week in work and DH started a new contract so evenings have been spent pretty much away from technology deiberately to make sure we have time for each other. anyway, having a lovely holiday weekend chilling, shopping, eating and sleeping. oh, and a wee bit of morning sickness thrown in today but nothing too bad!

@MissMagpie i am so so sorry about AF showing up. i had everything crossed it was some IB/spotting. i am in awe of your PMA! go girl! #PMAqueen

@ArchiesMamaBird my friend was absolutely gazebo'd at my hen, not knowing she was already pregnant. it must happen all the time! we can't stop life during every 2WW #slurpslurp

@Anna2006 my DH started taking a multi vit high in zinc about 5 weeks before our BFP. he eats veg for dinner but hardly any fruit so he's kept taking them and says he feels a little brighter of mood and iv noticed his skin looks fab too #heishandsomeallofasudden

@Hippychic79 i did notice some creamy cm before BFP. wasn't much, as i wiped it was apparent on the loo roll but just the once. infact i had it again today which is rather weird. have everything crossed that your cramps are a positive sign for a BFP. i had very little pg symptoms before my BFP: was the creamy CM and metallic taste and that was about it #loorollwatcher

sorry if i missed anyone, it's hard to scroll back on the app without losing your post so HIYAAAAA 👋🏼 to any newbies and everything crossed 🤞🏼for our next BFPs #girlgang #PMAmotherfuckers

oh, almost forgot, hope all the grads 🤰🏼are feeling good. i can't remember who mentioned the "boobie burn" but thanks for the heads up! until today, my bra has been my saviour however today, i literally can't stand anything touching my chest at all! much to DHs despair. he's very much a boob man but he ain't getting to play the bongos on these bazongas any time soon #ouch

Hippychic79 · 01/05/2017 07:48

Morning ladies - in true bank holiday style it is wet and miserable here and dp has gone to work so I'm on a mission to keep busy... 8 dpo ... still too early to test but still got very mild cramping ... could be a good sign but could well be another curve ball so trying to remain realistic yet positive if that makes sense. I don't want to crash again.
archies sounds like your having a great time :)) hopefully that'll be your last blow out for 9months.

FX for you hippy! The symptoms sound very promising. I'm 4 days behind you (4dpo) hopefully we will both be celebrating soon!

I'm officially crazy ttc woman this cycle, I read something saying that in Chinese medicine if you have cold feet you have a cold womb so Ive bin wearing wooly socks day and night as I always have ice feet. im now doing so many things I won't know what did the trick.
Btw my autocorrect is desperate to change woolly to willy #behave!

Hippychic79 · 01/05/2017 12:51

rose hahaha willy socks ... gotta love a rude autocorrect 🤣🤣🤣
Yes yes yes fingers crossed indeed ...
it does sound promising but it is very mild cramps so you can't help wondering if it's crazy symptom spotting.
The crazy thing this cycle is I'm very keen to test which is unusual for me as I'm normally a wait it out kinda girl ... I blame the ic's 😉😂

Hippychic79 · 01/05/2017 12:54

I'm a cold type too by the way and your right about the feet - keep them warm. The other thing is that your womb area, your abdomen and heart centre should all be the same temp .... just another thing to throw in there :))) it's called the triple warmer if you fancy a google xxx

Hi girls

Sorry been MIA been busy busy with my wee godsons christening this weekend!!! Wee bit rough today ha ha.

Just out of fertile week don't think I DTD half as much as I should have so I'm writing this month off just don't feel confident at all.

I have a lot of left sided pain though really weird on CD 21.

Anna2006 · 02/05/2017 08:17

I caved and tested this morning at 11DPO. BFN. I knew it would be so wanted to get it out the way. AF due to arrive tomorrow or Thursday. Best she hurry up now!

Hippy when are you testing? Hope you have better luck than me!

Anna2006 · 02/05/2017 08:30

@AmandaP86x what month TTC are you on again? Can't remember peoples stats, my brain is like mush nowadays

Xx

Hippychic79 · 02/05/2017 08:40

amanda it does make me chuckle when ladies on here say they haven't dtd half as much as they should .... It's not quantity chic ... it's quality .... it only takes one dorreen. But if you think it's not your month then I guess that helps you to relax a bit and that could be just what you need to aid implantation :)))

anna sooooooooo sorry to hear about your bfn cycle buddy. And fair play for being brave enough to test ... the closer I get the more of a phobe I become .... I really don't know what's worse ... testing and getting the wrong result or waiting it out .... I'm 9dpo today so still slightly too early to test ... still feeling mildly crampy but at this stage it could well just be nerves :)))

How's everyone else doing on this typically really sunny post bank holiday morning ?

Im due to test on Sunday, 6 days until my period is meant to start. This is my first natural cycle since stopping the pill in January as I had to wait four months for my period to start. Its been a weird cycle had stabbing pains the day I was due to overulate for a week. Then that stopped and ive got discharge the same type you normally get when you overlate. No idea if thats a good sign. Im hoping its a bfp this weekend or at least my period starts and I dont have another month of nothing. Im worried about the stabbing pains I had for a week as it was so painful. As its my first natuaral cycle in four years as I was on the pill for four years Ive forgotten what normal natural cycle feels like.

Good luck testing this month everyone!

ArchiesMamaBird · 02/05/2017 09:10

Anna So sorry hun, fx you just tested too early and your BFP is hiding around the corner.

Littleone It took about 4 months for my cycles to become regular again too after coming off the pill. And it's only really the last few months that I've been getting PMS symptoms too, so it's taken like 9 months for them to return. I forgot how lovely it was being on the pill!

8dpo for me now, and I'm having no symptoms whatsoever. I've had a bit of creamy CM today, but I'm sure that I've had this other months too before AF showed up. Got everything crossed for you Hippy, I have such a good feeling that this is your month Smile

Hippychic79 · 02/05/2017 10:56

Littleone I came off the pill a long time ago, so I'm sorry that i can't offer any personal advice on this one. Although i have read that it can take a good few months before cycles return to normal... whatever normal is :) Since I've been observing my cycle, I've noticed that every month can be different :) lol

Archies Thank you chic, I have a good feeling for you too. Is it just me - or is it so much easier to be optimistic for others and less so for yourself when you get into the 2nd week of the 2ww? Will you be testing or waiting it out?
I think I want to test but I'm not sure when or with which test... it's between IC and a FRER :)

Hi girls 🤗

My stats are

TTC#1 (had misscarridge @ 9 weeks in October last year then had d&c)

Month 6 I think I am now

Age 28

BFP due 13/5

Ano @hippy ur right it does only take the one lol. I find this left sided pain really weird it's lasted all night and today.

I am nightshift tonight so just going to do some exercise and chill out all all. Technically in my 2ww even though I have no idea when I ovulated lol!!

ArchiesMamaBird · 02/05/2017 11:29

Hippy Yes I agree! I was feeling so positive last week and was convinced that this was the month, but now that nagging doubt is creeping in again! Although I'm sat here thinking, 'this is definitely Hippy's month'. Grrrrr wish I had some PMA for myself

AmandaP86x · 02/05/2017 12:02

Awww @anna I'm hoping it's just too early FX for u xxxx

MissMagpie · 02/05/2017 13:31

Hope everyone had a lovely bank holiday. Sorry for the BFN Anna. Don't give up hope until AF arrives!

So after last week's early miscarriage/ chemical pregnancy/ whatever it was, I am back in the game. Just about stopped with the bleeding so hoping everything is back on track bodywise.

So my new stats are TTC #2.
Age 34 1/2
Cycle 11.

I am revving up the PMA because:

  1. Now I know I can get pregnant again
  2. I am more sure what the signs will be
  3. I know that I need to relax to help me conceive - I was on holiday last month and need to try and chill out and capture that feeling at home and all will be well.

I am going to be kind and good to myself this month and hopefully we will get there. More OPKs have been ordered and also I have ordered Emma Cannon's new book Fertile as it helps me feel like I'm more in control if I am doing something like that. Am also considering looking into acupuncture. Any opinions on this? Hippy you have acupuncture don't you? Is it helping?

ArchiesMamaBird · 02/05/2017 14:04

Hey Magpie. I've been thinking about you and glad that you are ok and feeling a bit of PMA again Smile

I have had 3 sessions of acupuncture now, each one 2 weeks apart from each other. My acupuncturist wanted to work on getting mt to OV earlier. For the last 8 months I've OV around cycle day 20/21, and this month after 2 acupuncture sessions I OV'd on day 15. So it's definitely working for me. It also makes me feel super relaxed, and I think it's done my PMA the world of good because it feels like I've seeked help and handed over a bit of the control to my acupuncturist if you see what I mean?

I would definitely recommend it Smile

Moo31 · 02/05/2017 14:05

Happy day after bank holiday day! Grin Today marks the start of Mad May in my work - hoping so come out the other end unscathed! I still haven't told work yet and my boss is off today. I am dying to tell them / get me some sort of by ball or hall pass for the madness of May!

@Magpie - great to hear you are back on the PMA train :) I am so sorry for whatever happened but great that you are taking the positives from it :)

@Anna - so sorry to hear you got a bfn. Very clichéd but you are not out until she-who-shall-not-be-named shows - there is still hope :)

@Hippy - pee in a pot, try the IC first. If there's a line use the FRER. That's what I did so hopefully my poas method will bring you some bfp luck! :)

@Littleone - welcome :) I came off pill last Aug and it took my cycles a while to regulate. Although I had a period every month my cycles ranged from 28-41 days. My periods were probably also more painful than they had been when on the pill. I was on the pill for more than 10 years so I can't remember what a pre-pill 'normal' period was like!

@Archies, @Amanda, @Hippy - everything crossed for you guys and everyone else testing in the next few days! Looking forward to the next run of BFPPPPPPs!! Grin Grin

Hippychic79 · 02/05/2017 14:07

Magpie Loving your PMA, #upmostrespect
The Fertility book by Emma Cannon is great by the way. I would be interested to hear your thoughts on it. I completely understand the need to feel like you're doing something, although sometimes i wonder what else there could be for me to try... does anyone else ever feel like that :)??
Yeah i have acupuncture weekly and i highly recommend it. Since I've been having it (started last October), I feel so much better, higher level of energy and very minimal period pain. Archies has just started having it too.

No worries Hippy, I thought you'd be replying re acupuncture too Smile

CakesALot · 02/05/2017 14:56

Hey lovelies! I've been offline for a few days but think I've caught up now!

Sorry for the bfn @Anna2006 chin up though, you aren't out yet!

Good luck to the imminent testers. I can feel some good vibes in my waters!

@MissMagpie great to hear from you. What a strong response to a difficult time. So great to keep up the PMA and take something positive. I'm inspired!

Not much to update from me. Cd14 today. Been dtd eod since af went which is a pretty good effort for us! Think DH is feeling the impact though 😬 I've noticed a lot more cramping and twinges the last few days which I'm assuming relate to ovulating but I don't normally get them. I've been having 3 cups of RLT each day since cd3 so maybe that's done it?? I've stopped drinking it now though as assuming ov has happened/is happening now. Loads of ewcm again this month as well since cd6/7. And I mean loads! Gross!!!!

PMA vibes to all you lovely lot 😘

ArchiesMamaBird · 02/05/2017 15:21

Cakes I find that on the months that I drink RLT I get loads of EWCM for about a week before OV! And I also notice more cramping, which I put down to the fact that it stimulates your uterus? FX you've nailed it this month Smile

Anna2006 · 02/05/2017 15:40

Thanks ladies, you can all stay positive for me. DH just took me out for lunch so that has cheered me up. Realised I've missed these times and just being us. As it's all been consuming about the loss. Enough of that now! We're going to book a nice break away in July when we're off. Maybe fee short days away or maybe just centreparcs to just chill out us two. Lushness!

@MissMagpie. So glad you are back in the game and can feel better about things. You deff can conceive and it will be happening. We need to do lots of lovely things like you said.

I've been having reflexology and I really like it. (Never tried acupuncture) my women's asked to see me every week through a whole cycle and then just fortnightly thereafter. It's very relaxing. She said conceiving is about relaxing and getting back in my "happy" place and apparently that is key. So I'm really going to try.
