Hippychic79 · 11/04/2017 12:55

So we are rolling on to thread #five –
We are not giving up, our PMA is still alive.

Put pure and simply,
We want to have babies,
God, please help everyone of these lovely ladies.

We support each other,
We are funny and kind,
And we will not be giving up,
Until we see that thick BFP line.

@loababy what part of Garda are you going? I stayed in Riva and visited limone and malciesne on the lake Ferry, it's a great day out resort hopping we did it a few times.

@bellamoon that's interesting about the snooze I used to a chronic snoozer. Since quitting I get up earlier in a better mood. I used also set an alarm at about 3am on work days just so I could have that heavenly feeling where u wake up but get to go back to bed lol I bet it made me more tired though.

Had my hycosy today. It was good news and bad news. The hycosy went well, it was painful, but for a very short time, I was just about to start panicking thinking "omg this needs to stop" and then it did, drama over 😂
Anyway that was all fine, I have a lovely uterus, clear tubes and two ovaries as expected, but I got my day 3 blood results back and the doctor said my FSH was high, which meant I wudnt be eligible for ivf unless I go for something called and AMH test privately and that levels ok. She said she though their was a good chance it'd be ok due to my age (33) and that my fsh wasn't super high. But I've been googling what it all means and it's made me a bit negative nancy now. So here are my 3 ttc positives from today

  1. My insides all look lovely
  2. I found out I'll be ovulating from the left this month, how cool is that
  3. The doctor was positive and mentioned that hopefully the hycosy would do the trick for a natural bfp
Moo31 · 24/04/2017 21:19

Aw Rose I'm sorry that it wasn't all positive for you today but I have everything crossed for a nice natural bfp for you this cycle! :) xo

Roseandbee · 24/04/2017 21:41

Thanks Moo, I'm throwing everything I can think of at this cycle, conceive +, raspberry leaf tea and I've got my pineapple at the ready! Also avoiding alcohol and caffeine. So fingers crossed I get my little Lefty

Itsjustaphase84 · 24/04/2017 22:23

@Roseandbee glad to hear everything looks OK and good luck.

@hippychick bring on the tww!!! Sounds like you got some good pupate.

I didn't know the school years were so different around the UK and Ireland. Learn something new...

No real symptoms to report apart from today is 1 week since bfp so I'm 5 weeks today and poas cb digital tells me my Hcg is increasing which is reassuring. Although today i had to stick Cbeebies on just so I could lie down for a tiny bit. My ds snuggled up with me,put his arm round me and stroked the back of my neck. My own snoring woke me up as I literally just dozed. #whoislookingafterwho

Anna2006 · 24/04/2017 22:37

@ArchiesMamaBird. Just wanted to give you my info about the polycystic ovary business. I too have PCO (polycystic ovaries) or something it's called polyfollicular ovaries. Basically it means fair few undeveloped eggs in your ovaries. PCOS is a metabolic disorder. Ie if you bloods came back perfectly normal (as mine are- they've been checked twice) then you have PCO and not PCOS. PCO doesn't stop you from ovulating as most ppl believe (an if you get a temp rise you most likely are). Only PCOS can but that's due to the abnormal hormone levels not the actual follicles if that makes sense.
So basically don't worry about it at all. The nurse at EPU checked my ovaries on my second scan after pregnancy loss and said 'yes you have polycystic ovaries but it's really very mild and nearly 1/3 of women will have some form of it but just never be aware of it. Don't worry about it at all'. ☺️☺️

@RoseandBee. So glad your hycosy went well and all is clear. I'm intrigued by these tests but only because I get things in my head like 'my tubes are now blocked since the mc' 😂 Which is very over dramatic of me.
Did the doctor say what your FSH level was when they said it was high? I just had my bloods done again and FSH levels checked and mine was in good range. They might of said it's high but sometimes these doctors like to exaggerate!

AmandaP86x · 25/04/2017 06:31

Morning girls.

I kno I was gonna relax but the OPKs r staring me in face lolol!!!!!

Another flasher this AM. Hopefully last nights Doreen's work their magic.

Up and out at this time for 12 hour shift 😷 First one in ages! Not looking forward to it much lol!

Hope ur all well happy Tuesday xxxx

ArchiesMamaBird · 25/04/2017 08:45

Rose That's fab news that your tubes are clear, but I can understand why you would be a bit worried about the FSH level. But like your doctor said, hopefully you will go on to get your bfp this month now that they've given you a good clear out Wink

Anna Thank you so much for the info, my bloods came back clear and normal too. So I'm going to try and be positive again now and keep away from Dr Google!

Amanda Here's hoping that your 12 hour shift goes by super quickly for you!

Phase I remember suffering with such bad exhaustion in my first trimester with DS, I would come home from work and sleep for hours. Then get up for dinner and a shower and go back to sleep until morning and STILL be tired. I do wonder how people cope with that level of exhaustion whilst also running around after a toddler! I'll get to find out for myself soon Grin

Hippychic79 · 25/04/2017 08:55

Rose That is great news about your hycosy – having clear tubes, two ovaries and knowing that you’ll ovulate from the left, and that the doc is fully expecting a natural bfp – all great stuff… I am have PMA for you about this and can’t wait to see your BFP pic. I’m avoiding caffeine too this month, well from CD12 onwards, and boy is it hard those first few days… the headache was unreal, never realised how addicted I was to coffee!!!

Phase You’re right, I got some quality pumpage at the optimum time, so yes, yes, yes … bring on the wonderful 2ww.

Amanda Hahaha… the temptation to poas is so real isn’t it!? Even on my chilled cycle last month I nearly caved, if I’d had enough pee I would have so tested! Yaaaaaay for flashing smiley and great pumpage timings. Enjoy the rest of your fw…. See you in the 2ww 😊

Anna Welcome back to the thread cycle buddy :))

Archies Morning chic.... yes keep up the PMA and stay away from Dr Google #imahypocrite

OK so my 3 things for today are –

  1. I’m 2DPO – that magical time of the month where your PMA is on the rise and hopes are high.
  2. I have my best friends coming over for dinner this evening, so this will take my mind off things
  3. My DP gives amazing kisses and cuddles, I am very much loved up

ArchiesMamaBird · 25/04/2017 09:06

Ooh I forgot my 3 positives:

  1. DH took DS to nursery today so I got to have a chilled morning rather than the usual where I'm chasing a toddler round trying to get him dressed
  2. Me and DH are off to Barcelona on Saturday and I'm so excited!!
  3. My boss isn't in work today which means I get to check MN without getting in trouble Grin
MissMagpie · 25/04/2017 10:24

Glad the hycosy went well Rose and that your diagnosis isn't too depressing Archies. I too know people who have had polycystic ovaries and conceived naturally, so I am sure you will too.

I am 10dpo now. Yesterday was convinced I was upduffed, now convinced I'm not! I don't know. Had very sore boobs yday but they aren't now and I am getting that crampy feeling you get when AF is about to arrive. I am CD31 so due on in two days-ish, maybe three.

Have no FRERs else I might be tempted to put myself out of my misery!

ArchiesMamaBird · 25/04/2017 10:47

MissMagpie Fingers crossed for you, you're not out until AF shows Smile

Roseandbee · 25/04/2017 10:51

Missmagpie a lot of people still get the crampy feeling when they get their BFP so you cant rule yourself out on that, keep up the pma, finges crossed for you!

Thanks for all the encouragement ladies. The doctor said slightly elevated, but didn't give me the figure, I was tempted to phone up and try and get it, but its my fertile window now and I'm gonna focus on the fact the doctor still seemed positive for now and Im sure ill find out the figure later (they usually send a follow up letter), don't want to stress myself out more if it turns out doctor google doesn't like the figure.
Did they tell you your figure @Anna2006 all I know is mine was too high to be a candidate for IVF, but i think because maybe it was borderline if I get a good AMH the doctor said the NHS would do IVF.

Hippy Im no saint for giving up caffine as I mainly only drink tea anyway and I don't mind decaf. The wine is the tricky one for me. I hope your tww goes speedily so you cant start enjoying your bfp :)

BellaMoon · 25/04/2017 11:27

Morning ladies

I've got a rare 10 minutes to myself at work without a constant stream of interuptions soo the first thing I do is check in on you lovely lot #youremyguiltypleasure

@Rose so this little lefty is going to do the job for you I have a feeling. how amazing that the docs can tell which ovary is releasing the egg #amazing hope the pains have eased off for you entering FW #goodluck

@Magpie you are a trooper for not POAS at 10dpo. ive never had the willpower. as @Rose said, the cramping is also BFP symptom so you just never know #notouttilyoureout #fingerscrossed

@Phase its weird to think we are exactly the same amount pregnant, so cool having a preggo buddy :) although one of my bridesmaids told me she's also preggo, a week or two ahead of me so I'll have her keeping me right too, its baby2 for her. i am soooo lethargic its unreal so hats off to you managing with a little one running around! #supercutecuddles

loving all the 3 things posts girls. we sure are a lucky bunch regardless of our TTC journey arent we? my 3 things today are:-

  1. i got up first time alarm went off this morning and still riding that #PMA vibe by not snoozing for 3 minutes (then another 3, then another 3)
  2. been working on a big project in work that has finally disappeared off my 'to do' list - what a feeling... been ongoing since last June! sheer delight
  3. my DH has kissed my tummy every morning since our BFP as he wants to make sure he kisses our child every day of its life. such a smooshy lovey dovey thing to do but it makes me wanna cry (with joy) every time he does it #10pointstotheDH #iamtotesemosh

Have we anymore POAS'ers lined up ladies? No pressure to do it, I'm just so looking forward to another BFP :) #peaceout

ArchiesMamaBird · 25/04/2017 11:36

Awwwww Bella your number 3 is super cute Smile I love a man who can show his emotional side

Hippychic79 · 25/04/2017 11:50

magpie eeeeeeeeeeeeek 10dpo .... I always start to feel nervous around that time .... to test or not to test that's always the million dollar question! Good luck with whatever you decide xxx

rose oh well giving up wine is like me giving up coffee then I guess ... except I'm guessing you don't have a glass of wine everyday 😂

Xxx

Hippychic79 · 25/04/2017 16:38

bella it's going to take you less time to bake your baby than it did to complete that project you started last June 😂

@Roseandbee glad things looked good on the inside! Fingers crossed for lucky lefty!

@MissMagpie the wonderful conundrum of 'is it preggers symptoms or af symptoms' hate it!!

My 3 things today (this weather is not one of them #bbrrrr #wheredidthesungo)

  1. Had DDs nursery review last night and she is achieving above and beyond for her age range. So proud and still beaming about the lovely things they said!
  2. RLT is still going down a treat and helping my PMA because I like to be proactive
  3. I have nothing planned tonight which is bliss after a busy time recently. Cannot wait to put my feet up...once dtd is done of course! #smepherewecome
Anna2006 · 25/04/2017 17:42

@roseandbee they said my FSH was 5.7 which they said was a good range. That was it. I know there is a threshold for FSH on IVF but not sure what that number is. I think FSH can vary from 3 to like 30. Lower being the better I think. But yes like you said AMH and FSH together give a better indicator.

It is bloody freezing here today. How are we nearly in May! I had to wait for DH for 30 minutes after work in a windy car park whilst getting hailed on 😂

Got enchiladas for tea though. And I love Mexican food!

Sophsta · 25/04/2017 18:19

Hey ladies,

Got back from my holiday on Saturday and went or a beautiful day at a spa on Sunday I'm still on a high from how lovely it was!

Currently 11dpo and playing the waiting game. I don't feel pregnant and have zero symptoms but who knows!

My three things for today are:

  1. It's still sunny (even if it's cold)
  2. I've managed two days on weightwatchers (definitely an achievement!)
  3. One born is on tonight
BellaMoon · 25/04/2017 19:22

haha @Hippychic79 that's true about the project taking ages. got a bigger project now though to train someone on my job! eeek! it's taken me 8yrs to get the hang of it as it's extremely diverse so hope to god i get a long hand over period #cantwait

anyone heard from @Dollydaydream2829 lately? xx

MissMagpie · 25/04/2017 19:33

When is AF due Sophsta? Are you a POAS-phobe like me?! I just get so nervous, that I prefer to play the waiting game.

Hope your maternity cover isn't like the woman in The Replacement that was on BBC1 earlier this year Bella! Did you watch it?!!

MissMagpie · 25/04/2017 19:34

Oh, I mean when is your BFP due btw, not AF. Old habits... Blush

BellaMoon · 25/04/2017 20:11

@MissMagpie i didn't watch up but the girls in my team were talking about it over lunch and from what i can gather it was pretty fucked up. and scottish too! #ohdear #betterwatchmyback i'm in luck as there's a girl in my team who i've been training for her own personal development for a wee while now so hopefully she'll get a wee promotion to cover some of my job when i go off. it'll be good for her. she's hoping to have a baby next year/start of 2019 so just in time for me going back #didijustsay2019 #holyshit

Sophsta · 25/04/2017 20:29

MissMagpie BFP due Sunday, I think I'm going to POAS Friday as SIL is coming and will want a glass of wine. Although I will probably plead a headache!

Bella it must be weird thinking of someone else covering for you! Fingers crossed for the girl you've been training.

Roseandbee · 25/04/2017 22:19

Hippy, yep I certainly don't have a glass of wine a day! most days its at least two :) lol

Thanks @cakes and @bella i'm really routing for little lefty, i feel i have a bond already having seen its lovely roundness on the screen & i could tell my future child, I saw you when you were just an egg lol

Amanda I did some more googling, (slap on the wrist for me) and i found the NHS cut off point is 8.9, so hopefully i'm just above that as some places count below 10 as normal. I was also tested day 4, so i'm hoping that day 3 or 2 i would've been a tinsy bit lower as well.

FIngers crossed for you Sophsta
