So yet again, af has got me. Brown spotting this morning after a cycle where I was actually genuinely convinced I'd done it this time. Oh well.

Only on month 5 of actively trying. I'm ttc no2. I'm awaiting a referral for a hospital appointment to investigate scarring in my uterus so every month that goes by without a pregnancy, the more I can't deny that there's obviously something wrong (I've conceived twice, both just after a missed pill so 5 months is long in comparison!)

Just thought I'd say hi and hope THIS might be our month and we have a chance at a baby in 2018 instead :)

We've been ttc #2 for a while now, maybe around 10 months. Not sure this will be the month as I'm due to ovulate this weekend and we move house on Friday. Won't stop me trying though Haha!

We haven't actually been trying this month so I'm not on the dreaded 2ww but just got a bit over-excited about trying once AF is out of the way. Looking for any tips to make me super fertile! I think I gave up caffeine when we were TTC DC2, the thought of doing that again fills me with horror! It's been nearly 5 years since my last pregnancy and I'm conscious that I'm that much older now and DH has had an operation which may or may not have affected his fertility so I'm not expecting it to be an easy ride this time. Also, we, perhaps stupidly, set a deadline of the autumn as we don't want to keep on trying ad infinitum. So yeah... pressure....!

Hi dolly don't worry I was just telling my friends I want to conceive this month so hopefully can start mat leave at chistmas (completely setting myself up to fail)

Welcome to the newbies . I've had cramps all day today. I really think I've missed the surge and possibly O'd today. DTD Sunday and will tonight just incase. X

I also worked out a few hours ago I would be starting Mat leave at end of Christmas term (teacher) . Not that I'm getting ahead of myself or anything. I hate how everything turns into a possible symptom in the tww. Today we have: tiredness, cramping and white sticky cm. I know it's far too easy for any real symptoms but doesn't stop my imagination.

@boatrace30 @ImBreakingBad @sallywiththegoodhurr @Joeybee I've read that lots of fruits and raw veg are water rich so if you're struggling to drink enough then eating these will help.

I'm sure tea and coffee count but obviously can't drink too much.

Drinking 2l a day is apparently the recommended amount but no way can I manage this every day!

Obviously I'm really hoping for a bfp, BUT DH and I have tickets to a wine tasting festival in May...SO is it wrong that I'm thinking that at least if it's a bfn I can reward myself with all-i-can-drink wine?

Aridia Due AF around the 7th here as well, CD20 now but I have a slightly longer than average cycle. We'll have an awkward situation if I get a BFP - we're going to visit family in Ireland in late May and people will be VERY suspicious if I'm not drinking!

@TriJo I've been trying to think of excuses to explain why I won't be drinking too! I'm too superstitious to tell anyone if I do get a bfp. Good luck!!

trijo I guessed you were Irish by your posts! I have the same situation in July am hoping to be pregnant by then but won't be able to hide it

I'm going away on a hen do next weekend. Test day is Monday. I'll have to tell people if it's a bfp, it'll be too obvious otherwise. If it's AF I'll be so annoyed as hardly a great situation when mostly wearing a swimming costume all day every day. Still, at least I'll get to drink the all inclusive bar dry!

mrshandles that was me last night 🙈 pillow under my bum and legs up the wall.. i know its not necessary but it does make sense to keep it as close to the cervix as possible doesn't it.
I'm also making sure im having a Orgasm everytime after we have dtd because I've read that the contractions it causes sucks it up or something.. thats prob a old wives tale too 😂
