Another month, another period. I was due af yesterday but had no sign but today I've had brown tinged cm so she'll be here tomorrow.

Anyone else out for March already? Feel free to join in my misery lol

Oyster - sorry you are so fed up. When I came off the pill to have DD it took absolutely ages to get to any semblance of normality. In fact I think I ovulated the first time when I conceived her and that was 5 months later. So, I guess what I am trying to say is not that it will take that long - but maybe it's the pill and not your body. Mind you, my body is certainly very bad at ovulating and having periods and doing anything vaguely normal so I do understand.

Breaking - I'm terrible in between possible ovulation and AF, it's a nightmare, impossible to be relaxed and not take note of every twinge. Breathlessness is certainly a symptom though so fx.

Right, so I am definitely not going to test first thing tomorrow.... she says kidding no one!

minime - how often do you test, you may have missed the surge? I ovulated on CD31 so anything is possible!!

Thanks boatrace. It took 5 months to conceive DD and my cycles were a bit longer to start with that time so I know I should just have some patience. I'm just getting a bit anxious about my age!
No testing tomorrow for you! Get your partner to hide the tests.

Oyster I think you might be right! Weirdness!boatrace I've been testing in morning with cb opks and afternoon with ic. Strangely the ic opk this afternoon does have a line now-kind of dark but not a def positive. Had side cramps yesterday and not much in the line of cm. We've been dtd every 2/3 days just in case. And this was the cycle I was to be more relaxed and ready for ttc.

Well minime if you are DTD ever 2/3 days you'll catch it anyway. That's always been our tactic as I am so irregular.
Exhausting though!

Interesting, I think I'm less stressed because of the app, I feel I have some control. But then I didn't use an app last time and it was easier... who knows! Interesting though

Agreed boatrace. If I wasn't using the app I would be panicking non stop about not having sex, and wouldn't have a way of tracking my cycles, so I do think it helps.

Super fed up of people telling me to 'chill out and it will happen'.

I think I'm out for this month - tender boobs for 2 weeks, no conclusive proof of ovulation and now I'm spotting.

And on to the next one...

I ageee about fertility apps I feel much more confident using them and charting! Makes me feel like I am doing something!

Chart looking good this morning, 1dpo today (crossing fingers temp stays up!) didn't managed to dtd last night but squeezed it in this morning so hoping to catch the egg! I think I ovulated around 1pm yesterday as had almighty bad cramping. Boobs super tender this morning, didn't have that last month so crossing fingers and toes!

Hope tww isn't too painful for you all, I am a terrible symptom spotter! 1dpo and counting...

Afternoon ladies 😃

I like using my app, but found out this morning that the automatic setting for ovulation was CD12- which I thought was very early. I've had a little fiddle and worked out how to change it but because I'm not using opks I'm just guessing for a 30 day cycle it should be day 16. Meaning we have probably missed my fw 😟

I've got 5 days until AF is due ... when is the earliest I can take a reliable test?

With your cycle length I'd say earliest 2 days before period due forever so Tuesday?

More cramps over here... argh it's only 1dpo and I already hate the tww!!!

Hi all, how are we getting on?

I started spotting yesterday (I think) TMI WARNING it was quite thick and brown in colour, co-insided with Ovia telling me to take a test, which I haven't done. So I think I'm out for this month. I'm 31 at the end of this month, to me this signifies a bit of a milestone: I'll be a year older then when DM had me (I'm the elsdest) for some reason that's playing on my mind a bit.

Fingers crossed for everyone!

It's 14 days since my Ovia fertile window last day and I'm on CD25 if that makes any sense to anyone. I'm not very good at this tracking lark!

boatrace thanks for the reassurance re my temp drop - made me feel so much better!

oyster sorry you're fed up - I've read lots about the pill as I had exactly the same thing when I came off the pill and it can take a while for it to leave your body. Vv frustrating I know but apparently normal. Hope your cycle settles down soon.

minime what a pain about the opks, you may have missed it but hopefully if you've been dtd regularly still a good chance.

mrshandles as blue says you're not out until your af shows up, could it have been implantation bleed? If it's just spotting and no period could be promising.

I have no idea when I ovulated so thinking of testing next Saturday. My temps have been all over the place (yes I am fixating on my temps) no other symptoms so not massively hopeful for this month.

Is anyone finding the nice weather is helping take their minds off tww? However really missing the booze with everyone drinking pimms and bubbly in the sun!

mrs handles So on average the ovia fertile window ends the day after ovulation (in my experience)
So if you on cd25 i would say your 13dpo roughly!?
Can you do a test..To put your mind at rest) At that many dpo if your pregnant your most likely to get a positive especially if you only have short cycles?
Hope your okay , your still young don't let age get you down xx

Cheers bluee I think because my DM died in October it's hit home a little but more. I'm not holding out hope of BFP so I might leave it for a few days...maybe...to be honest my cycles do whatever they like: short, long, my body seems to love it all!

Evening all! Gorgeous weather has definitely helped me today until this eve when the AF style cramped have started. I'm 8dpo and the last two cycles AF has turned up on 9dpo. So it seems my body has finally started to be regular... regularly short LPs. Thanks body.

boatrace really hope it's just cramps and not af! I guess it's a good thing if you're starting to have more regular cycles at least.

I'm looking forward to being on a may bus if it doesn't work out, finding this thread really helpful x

Has anyone else not actially felt when they ovulate? I never get any pain any month which i can relate to ovulating. Im 7dpo going off 2 days after first positive opk ( thats if i ovulated) or 8dpo if i start from the day after instead (not sure) but I'm just curious as alot of women comment on ovulation pain and me thinking back over my cycles i have never experienced this. X
