Scorpio poor you - that sounds horrible. But if he's talking to you normally today sounds like it's going to be alright; I think with men sometimes things blow up but then blow over quickly while we're more likely to be analysing everything for days (weeks, months...). If you can do it without restarting the argument maybe talk it through with him later? If there are still issues that need resolving you need to address them but if not a nice dinner together (out if it's possible) or some kind of date night might help. DP and I try to have date nights at least every couple of weeks, more often if we get round to it, but then we don't have kids yet which makes that easier! I hope it's ok today. Also, it's alright to row, it doesn't mean the end of your relationship.

fleacircus · 23/03/2007 10:25

In my ideal world would have a mid-January baby - next two due dates would be 25th Dec and 19th Jan. Going to go for it this month though despite reservations about Christmas - a baby any time would be a wonderful thing! If we are lucky enough to conceive this month we might pick another date to celebrate, so the baby has two birthdays (like the queen).

scorpio1 · 23/03/2007 10:29

thanks fleacircus

he has just rang to apologise and said that he realises how much it must have been upsetting for me,the fact he left last night.

i do tend to dwell on things and think he wants to leave me all the time, when he never does.

we go on dates too,its really nice.we are going chinese all you can eat on wednesday

thanks again for letting me rant

The other thing we do is celebrate everything we can think of... Chinese takeaway for Chinese new year, haggis for Burns Night, roast beef for St George's Day, pancakes on Shrove Tuesday, etc etc. We're always looking out for new ones; on Wednesday we went out for dinner to celebrate Newroz - Kurdish New Year!

tigerschick · 23/03/2007 12:37

Fleacircus, that sounds like a very good idea to me. If you're looking for things in the Autumn try looking at Belize and holidays there. Dm&d used to live there and it seemed like there were holidays every couple of weeks thru September and October!

Sorry to hear about last night Scorpio, hope things are back to normal tonight - it might be worth trying to talk it over if you can. We let an argument slide a while ago and it came back to haunt us a month or so later in an even bigger row. It's best to settle things asap IMO.

Hi All,

I'm really behind, there's loadsa names I don't recognise, but hello to all. I'm in the 2WW now, but feeling optimistic as did the deed day before ovulation, so here's hoping. Little bit worried bout things I should/shouldn't be eating/drinking/doing just in case.

Gonna have to read up and find out what I've missed.

fifisworld · 23/03/2007 15:33

I dont know if im going mad but....
my last period was on 11th march but only lasted 2 days and was really light. I've had really bad headaches and cant stop going to the loo and dont know if i could be pg already. We did do the deed a few times last month but not sure if was over the time when i ovulated.
i dont know whether to get a cheap test or will it be negative because i had that bleed?

scorpio1 · 23/03/2007 15:34

whats with all the pg people??

went to school to watch my eldest sing, and not only is the teacher pg,but so is my 'friend' who has two boys the same age as mine.she is quite far along already.

aarrrggghhhh

FurryFox · 23/03/2007 15:38

fifi - I think you should test just to see. It's the only way you'll know for sure. Good luck

Scorpio - Typical that everyone seems to be pg around you - it's always the way!

plummymummy · 23/03/2007 15:50

Sorry to hear about your row with dh Scorpio. I had one too on Mothers Day and it lasted til the next evening. He didn't get me anything from ds. Said he was busy and anyway he didn't think it was that important to me as it's a commercial event and he wouldn't really care if he didn't get anything for fathers day

OP posts:
fifisworld · 23/03/2007 15:52

Ok i'm going to try and get to the shops when dp comes in so hopefully the chemist will still be open, if not it will have to be tomorrow

scorpio1 · 23/03/2007 15:56

fifisworld · 23/03/2007 16:06

Will be back on after 6 to let you know

BeckleSpeckledEgg · 23/03/2007 16:10

Afternoon all! Glad your DH has been apologising to you Scorpio, men get soooo grumpy and always think the answer is to storm out. Am sure you haven't ruled out the whole month by missing CD12, just make sure you make up for it tonight...
Plummy - at least you're off the hook for father's day now!
Fifi - test! its the only way to put your mind at rest one way or another.

fleacircus · 23/03/2007 16:18

Plummy - how rubbish, as if his feelings about father's day have any bearing on it.

Scorpio - glad it's ok now. Maybe you'll have a making up baby!

Fifi - good luck!

tigerschick · 23/03/2007 18:21

Plummy and Scorpio - sorry to hear of your rows, hope everything is back ok now - make-up sex is usually pretty good tho eh?

Fifi - Good luck!

FurryFox · 23/03/2007 18:27

fifi - have you tested yet?

BeckleSpeckledEgg · 23/03/2007 18:32

ooh fifi have you?

fifisworld · 23/03/2007 18:41

fifisworld · 23/03/2007 18:52

BFN
I thought thats what it would be but never mind, at least i can concentrate on ttc now from this month

FurryFox · 23/03/2007 18:56

Sorry fifi, at least you know now and like you said, you can focus on this month now, good luck for this month

BeckleSpeckledEgg · 23/03/2007 18:59
