11 days late and still negative pregnancy test, is there any hope?

Hi all,
Wondering if anyone has any advice or similar experiences. DH and I have been trying for a long time, I usually have a 28-29 day cycle and AF turns up every month, never missed a period in my life. I'm now 11 days late, I've tested 4 times, last time being this morning. I've used Clear Blue, First Response and just regular Boots test results. All negative.

TMI incoming: I've had thick clear discharge that makes me constantly think that my period has started but no bleeding or spotting at all. I've had light cramping, much lighter than my normal period pains. And nausea, lack of appetite, feeling heavy? Not sure how to describe it.

Spoke to the Doctors last week and they said to leave it until this week. Spoke again today and they just said sometimes cycles do this, it's nothing to worry about, come back in 6 months is you still have not had a period! I explained I am always on time, and asked for a blood test. They've agreed to do a blood test next week but told me that home pregnancy tests are very accurate and it's much more likely to be my cycle. I'll be nearly four weeks late by the time the blood test is done.

I am trying to remain calm about it but to be honest I'm finding this incredibly distressing. We've been trying for so long, and it has always come within a few days, this feels different, but the test says not pregnant. I'm scared I want this so much I'm messing with my cycle. Has anyone else found this?

Well fingers crossed for us all. I've been feeling ok about it- desperate to know but not mega stressed but I've been in tears this afternoon. Maybe that's a sign my period is on the way at least! Tbh I'd actually be happy for it to turn up now just because I'd have an answer then.

Hope you find out what's wrong hmuh23, I'm literally 21 days, still resting everyday 😩 I'm so fed up I've got to wait u till next week for my doctors appointment, I have 2 children already and I've never had to go through this before, we have been TTC since Jan 2017 when I had my implant removed xxx

I also am currently going through similar to all of this. On CD48, normal cycles are normally between 30-35 days. I’ve done 4 HPTs and there all BFN. Very confused as to what’s going on. I feel different and don’t feel like AF is coming anytime soon! nice to see others are in the same boat

I’m the same too! Usually 28-32 day cycles and currently day 37 n negative tests. Did anyone turn out to be pregnant or was the period just skipped? Thanks!

I so feel your stress! I’m currently 12 days late. I had a blood on day 5 which showed i wasn’t pregnant and my progesterone was at 12. Was told we bleed when it gets down to under 2. On my last cycle I did 4 days of IVF and then stopped because I got sick. Was meant to start IVF again but my period just isn’t coming which, in the greater scheme of things might be a god-send as we are in lockdown from the pandemic. Hoping this will all sort itself out soon. Sending you positive thoughts!

Reading through this thread I can relate! I'm 11 days late and going out my mind, I've taken 5 cheapie pregnancy tests and they are all negative.

I'm bloated,my boobs are really sensitive and tender and I've been having mild period like cramps, everyday I wake up and expect it to be there, but it's not and I feel like I'm going crazy just waiting, I'm not going to test again for a few days as I feel I am building myself up over nothing. My husband really believes I'm pregnant, but I dont, its pretty hard to think of yourself as pregnant when you have been trying for 8 years with no luck, I'm regular with cycles, mostly 28 days, sometimes I will be a day or 2 late but it always comes, last month I was a few days early, I just dont know what to do and wondering if anyone can shed some light with their experiences.thankyou.

Hi cloclo88 I'm currently 17 days late cycle day 46 still negative tests, I called the doctors and he wasnt much help,he basically said to test again in a week and to wait for my next period, I asked if my period didnt come again should I call and he said no, to miss another one (so 3 months) and then they will start to investigate and check my hormones.

Ugh how unhelpful!! Have you taken anymore tests? Are you still having symptoms? Keeping fingers crossed for you

Hi everyone. I am new here so, I got my Nexplanon removed from my arm at the end of May. I had a period a couple short days after removal. My last period was on May 28th. I'm having a hard time because I don't know if I may have ovulated late, or what. I have taken about 5 tests and all were BFN. I have been extremely exhausted and intense appetite. I also have had mild cramping and low back ache about 10 days ago. Cramps come and go but I am DEFINITELY exhausted all the time and very moody! Is there a chance I just don't have enough HCG in my system yet? TIA

Hello! Currently 18 days late, but with negative stick and blood test alike. Anybody been told what can cause this? (Please don't say stress, everyone already has- it's just not the case here)

Just need a little advice if anyone has been through this, currently 11 days late for AF, done 3 HPT and all BFN. Have been TTC and have had a few symptoms, extreme tiredness, nausea, lower back pain, more frequent urine, also thick clear discharge (sorry for TMI) has anyone been through this and had a positive outcome?😞

We have been ttc baby number 3 for 2 months. I have been working out my fertile days and ttc then. I am now two days late. I have had hip pains which come and go , some cramps in tummy also. Did a test today (not the first of the day as I couldn’t wait) and it was BFN. Would love to hear if other people have the same? I am usually very regular on my cycle and actually feel pregnant but maybe just kidding myself? I have also been bloated and had nausea for the last week.
