This 2ww is dragging even more than usual, I'm only on cd18 of a 33day cycle

Anyone else in the 2ww needing some support?

AF is currently 2 days late, Ovia suggested I test on Wednesday but I caved and tested this morning...negative. Will see if AF turns up and if not maybe test again. Have only been trying since November but it's so hard to be chilled about it!

I had unusual spotting last week and have been exhausted & bloated but that could all just be AF. Boobs have not been sore at all.
Have you had any symptoms?

Welcome poppet. You are right, it's so hard to be chilled! I think from the moment you decide you want to TTC, you want a BFP. I thought I'd give myself a few months after coming off the pill but definitely not!

I've never been on the pill or other contraceptives (we have always used condoms) so hoping it won't take too long to conceive but it's still early days for us. I feel like I've had some symptoms but I'm very conscious of the fact that my mind could be playing tricks on me! Trying not to Google everything but that's difficult too. Ahhhhh!

I've felt strange all weekend and am off work today but I think it's maybe a bug as it's not typical symptoms. I've been really tired, but can't sleep, my hands and feet are tingly and feel like there burning, clammy but no temperature, sneezing and my eyelid has been twitching nearly constant for days!

Feel like I'm going crazy haha! No AF signs yet so don't think she will come tomorrow but probably just late from being run down.

It's only natural to symptom spot!

Congratulations Pink, great news!!

So I did a FRER and superdrug today and both BFN. Hmmm I'm so confused about this morning's test now. I'll try again tomorrow with FMU and I think if that's negative I'll just try and leave off the tests for a while as it's starting to consume me!

Hope we have some more BFPs soon!

Still over a week until I can test and refusing to do it too early this cycle.

I'm getting that lower abdomen cramping this evening. I know 100% that af is on its way now. Oh well :( knew I was being too optimistic after being told scarring on my uterus was going to make it difficult/impossible to conceive...

Bubblegum , I can imagine how you are feeling. I'm waiting for surgery to remove a fibroid that could be affecting fertility as it stops implantation. Surgery won't be for a few months then may take some time to recover so could take months?!

Is you AF due tomoz or later?

Bunny it's not nice is it? Scarring is the same, it stops implantation :( when are you due the surgery? There's surgery I can have to remove the scar tissue and rebuild my lining but it's a very long process with no guarantees. If I get af this month (which is due Wednesday) then I'm going to get to the drs and ask for a referral for surgery I think!

Hi everyone!

Joining this quite late and still getting to grips with all these abbreviations!

I'm currently age 30, on CD 27 with AF due on 12th January. This is the first month we've properly tried to get pregnant, with so many things in the way the last while. Desperate to find out if we'll get a bfp this month! No major symptoms yet, a little fatigue over the weekend, and today peeing a lot and constantly hungry! Apart from that, no sore boobs or mood swings or anything. Fingers crossed, not long to wait now!

If you can wait until your due date to test and buy tests it's gone save a lot of money and disappointment. This was such a better option for me. I bought a clearblue digital this morning (a pack of two for £13.99) and waited until day of my period. When it didn't show by lunch I did the test. My first cycle I wasted so much money on trying to get an early positive and my AF came right on time. I was distraught.

I agree pink - with my first DC I waited till after AF was due and got 2 unquestionable positives with my first responses (followed by a positive CB digital and another the following week just to check the hcg was continuing to increase )

This time I classed preg test spend as a post Xmas treat to get me through a depressing and v stressful time at work. Still waiting to test again on Thurs when AF is finally due.

Thanks for the link! I've had a think and I'm going to stick to boots and Asda. Asda ones were great last time.

Looking at that link a q asked what the mui was and the pharmacy replied it varied between '15 - 25 from time to time.'

Boots own little strips, 5 in a packet for around 3-4 quid are 25.

I do think the poas industry make a lot of money out of us!
