Any 2wwers?

I'm 4dpo and testing slightly early on 5.11.16 at 12dpo because I'm going to a family party that night.

Anyone needing any company during the 2ww? It's my first cycle off the pill and I'm obviously over-analysing everything!

Dazed-if you think you've ovulated and are getting positive opks it might be worth taking a pregnancy test: opks can show positive with hcg as well as Lh...

I'll join if I may. Starting to ttc #4 (!). Nobody IRL knows (except DH obviously...!) and planning on keeping it that way for as long as possible. Have fallen pregnant ridiculously easily with my other children so am hoping it'll be quick this time too. Think I'm currently in the tww, but only finished breast feeding #3 a few weeks ago and haven't had a proper cycle yet so not sure (I thought I got af last week but it didn't last beyond a few hours so think it was just spotting whilst my hormones sort themselves out). I actually fell pregnant with #3 first cycle after #2 so haven't had a period since May 2012...am hoping to do the same this time, if only to see the look on the midwife's face when I tell her the date of my last period...:)

Currently feeling very nauseous and aching boobs but trying not to get my hopes up and trying to persuade myself it's my hormones, not a baby!!

MrsG280516 · 01/11/2016 10:03

Popular I'm 8dpo too, holding off until Saturday morning to test so will be 12dpo. I don't have any of the proper cheapies so don't want to waste too many! It's my first cycle off the pill so actually don't know when AF will turn up if I'm not pregnant.

Sorry for anyone else who AF got already!

ricepolo you're insane (in a good way!)! So your DC 2 and 3 are only about 10 months apart?

I hated being pregnant, I don't know how you've managed it!!

Tinkerbell2319 · 01/11/2016 10:46

Weeeelllll attempts not to symptom spot or google like a nutter have failed lol!

Had crampy pains on and off on my lower right side since 5DPO (am now 8) and today am sooo tired I could fall asleep in work and back ache

I know it's way too early probably just being silly and not sleeping enough or getting ill... 2WW drags so badly doesn't it I swear it feels more like 4WW

ricepolo · 01/11/2016 11:06

No - they're actually 22 months apart. I fell pg with #2 in late May 2012, gave birth Feb 2013, BF him until Feb 2014, fell pg with #3 in late March 2014, gave birth December 2014, and have only just finished feeding her (she's a boob monster: when she started saying hello to 'the boobies' was when I realised I needed to stop BF!).

22m was close enough for me: 10m would be awful.

I don't like being pg at all, to be honest, and spend the entire time scared and anxious. But seeing the three of them together is just so wonderful, I'm prepared to do it again to add another child to the mix.

But then I'm definitely done :)

MrsG280516 · 01/11/2016 11:49

I'm super tired today and getting spotty Tinkerbell also 8dpo!

Popularcontrarian · 01/11/2016 11:51

Wow ricepolo, that baby making is pretty impressive. Hopefully you get pregnant quickly like you did with your other little ones.

We're going for a close age gap, if I get pregnant this cycle there'll be 21 months between DS and the next. If I hadn't had a miscarriage last month it would've been an 18 month age gap! I was excited and scared shitless all at the same time, but I'm a firm believer of getting it all over and done with as soon as possible. Plus I aint getting any younger!

MrsG we are tww buddies so! I'm not going to be able to wait until Saturday. That feels like an eternity away/

Popularcontrarian · 01/11/2016 11:52

I'm also spotty MrsG. Two beauts just appeared on my cheek. Probably a sign AF is due? or maybe it's just all the junk I've been eating...

MrsG280516 · 01/11/2016 12:15

Haha I made DH promise not to let me test until Saturday so he'll be quite annoyed if I do! I'll live vicariously through you instead Wink

Found an old post on another site about my DS's TWW. I had very strong cramps at 4dpo and lots of cervical fluid at about 6/7 days, so much so I thought I'd gotten my period.

That hasn't happened this time at all but I don't know if I've been symptom watching as closely. When you have a 12 month old to look after you have a lot less time to think about these things!

And I got the faintest of faint positives tests in the evening of 11DPO but had a negative in the morning. My husband couldn't see it at all, he thought I was going mad :)

Going to have to sit on my hands for a while...

Tinkerbell2319 · 01/11/2016 13:07

Popularcontrarian that's so strange, I had an episode of a lot of CM on Sunday (would have been 6dpo) to the point before I checked I thought my period somehow had started

(Tries not to obsess)
(Fails)

MrsG280516 · 01/11/2016 13:09

Haha lots of symptom spotting, lets hope the next few days go fast for us. I was hoping that 12dpo would be long enough for a clear result but I guess I won't be convinced until AF shows.

OP posts:
Popularcontrarian · 01/11/2016 13:12

Eeek Tinkerbell, I hope it bodes well for you. The timeline is spot on if it's the case!

OvariesBeforeBrovaries · 01/11/2016 13:29

Hope all the symptom spotting bodes well for people! My "symptoms" (feeling run down and tummy ache) appear to have been the start of tonsilitis, which has come out in force today :(

I didn't have a tww last time, I didn't find out I was pregnant until 7 weeks!

Tinkerbell2319 · 01/11/2016 13:33

Haha mrsG popularcontrarian

Fingers crossedddd

I swear I'm a normal sane person for the first 14 days of each month Grin

D 1-14 "not going to stress this month it'll be fine, don't even mind if this isn't our month it'll be ok"
Day 14-28 "omg does that twinge mean something? I'll just quickly google x/y/z"

Kaisha02 · 01/11/2016 17:02

So af hasn't arrived but I had bad cramping the day before making me think it was about to. Still no af so I'm wondering if it was ovulation instead. Last time I had that about this time I got lots of bfn and went onto have a 36 day cycle Sad.

MrsG280516 · 01/11/2016 20:24

Cramping is a common early pregnancy symptom Kaisha as well as meaning AF could be imminent, got my FX for you!

OP posts:
Kaisha02 · 01/11/2016 20:35

MrsG is it worth a test do you think? Not sure I want to spend a tenner on buying a bfn. Haven't had any cramping at all since Sunday (was 24 hours only) and af was due Monday. It's my husbands birthday Thursday so would be an amazing gift!

MrsG280516 · 01/11/2016 20:39

I think it could be, it's totally up to you though. With AF being late, if you are pg you could probably get a result on a cheaper test.

AgainPlease · 01/11/2016 22:03

Omg tinkerbell you made me laugh. Yes half the month I am sane and normal, other half I am a complete nightmare. I do find comfort, however, in knowing that when I type long pregnancy symptom-related sentences in to Google that more than one answer pops up... It means I'm not the only psycho symptom checker out there. Previous googles have included "are puffy eyes an early pregnancy symptom?" "Do itchy feet mean I am pregnant" 😅😅

Having been pregnant before I know what actual symptoms to look out for during 2ww and it's not much! Proper symptoms with me don't kick in till week 7 although I'm sure my next pregnancy might be different.

Kaisha that would be a fab birthday present for your husband!

Kaisha02 · 01/11/2016 22:16

againplease I might buy a test tomorrow and test Thurs AM. Is the advice to test first thing in the morning still a proven thing? Or is it one of those myths? I had a weird metallic taste in my mouth this afternoon so Googled that of course, tasted a bit like blood but nothing there. Probably just that I'm coming down with a cold.

AgainPlease · 01/11/2016 22:24

Metallic taste in mouth is often quoted as an early pg symptom! Smile I never got it but loads of women do apparently.
First wee of the day still seems to be the proven method as it's the most concentrated wee as you've been sleeping all night instead of drinking tea and coffee and needing the loo all day (and the wee becomes diluted). But once you're properly pregnant, as in well past your AF due date, it will come back a positive (if you are indeed pg) no matter what time of the day you poas.

Tinkerbell2319 · 02/11/2016 08:06

Haha againplease I feel you

Very mild low belly cramps for me this morning and kinda feels like AF is incoming but not due until next Tuesday and have been having super vivid dreams ... obv google says it's early pg symptoms but then apparently so is everything - fairly certain if I googled "is left eye twitching a sign of early pregnancy" it'd come up as 100% yes

Wish this week would hurry up and debating whether Saturday would be too early to testConfused

Kaisha02 · 02/11/2016 08:24

againplease I'm going to buy two tests today and possibly do one later and one tomorrow morning. Id rather know either way and stop Googling everything now. Tinkerbell I've been having vivid dreams too and lots of 'symptoms'. Saturday might be a tad too early to test for you I think.

Flappergirl86 · 02/11/2016 08:33

My 'symptoms' include:
-occasional cramps and twinges of the abdomen
-vivid dreams
-general gassiness
-foul smelling farts (sorry)
-oily skin & hair
-occasional travel sickness. Occasional travel sickness is the only one I don't normally have because I'm a gross human being. It's a wonder OH can even make love to me..
