I'm 4dpo and testing slightly early on 5.11.16 at 12dpo because I'm going to a family party that night.

Anyone needing any company during the 2ww? It's my first cycle off the pill and I'm obviously over-analysing everything!

Dazedandconfusedtoomuchpeppa · 31/10/2016 07:35

Good luck Kaisha hopefully Af won't appear.

Sorry wantingbaby .

Kaisha02 · 31/10/2016 07:44

Thanks dazed all signs of af have gone this morning, no cramps or anything. Just very very hungry all the time Cake

HellsBellsK · 31/10/2016 07:48

Im out - woke up this morning to test with an in date test and AF arrived. At least I didn't waste a test tho!

It was only our first month trying too wanting. Hope you are okay Flowers

At the start I didn't think I would get pregnant that quick so I was okay and knew these things took time. But when I was late/sick I thought I must be pregnant and I did get a little hopeful. So I am a little down about it but I am trying to look at the positive - the start of July wouldn't of been a great time for me to have a baby -
Finish u a course for work mid july and It is hard going. I have my own business and July would be the busiest time so I wouldn't of had time to relax with the baby.

Sorry for the essay - but good to put thoughts down.

Good luck to everyone else I have everything crossed for you! xx

MrsG280516 · 31/10/2016 09:07

Sorry wanting and HellsBells Flowers plenty of time left. I'm not expecting to get pregnant first cycle either. We always wanted a baby born from September onwards so I don't mind if it takes a couple of months, although if it happens sooner its perfectly fine!

HellsBellsK · 31/10/2016 09:37

MrsG we are the same always said from September also. Would work better for me work wise. But I know you can't plan these things so said we would start and see.
Im actually feeling okay now x

Can I join? I'm 2ww-ing now :) BFP due November 9th-ish. Trying for DC#2, already have DD who is 2 and a half. Friends & family have been pestering us for months to have another Grin but we wanted to wait. We get married in December and from this month onwards if I get pregnant I'll be 23 when the baby is born, which sounds like a good age :) I think DP is secretly holding out for a honeymoon baby as I ovulate the day after our wedding Grin

Congratulations to the BFPs :)

AgainPlease · 31/10/2016 11:54

ovariesbeforebrovaries i love that username Grin

23 is so young! You sound like an amazing woman. At 23 I was getting drunk every night and didn't know how to cook a decent meal. I'm 28 and I'll be the youngest by far in my area ( naice part of SW London), the average age here for first time mum is around 33-4ish!

hells shitballs I'm so sorry :(

I've resided to the fact that I'll be poas everyday for the rest of the week. It's the only thing that keeps me sane, even if they are BFNs and even if I'll be broke by Boots and Superdrug!

OvariesBeforeBrovaries · 31/10/2016 13:16

Aw thank you Again, some say "amazing" some say "very irresponsible" Wink

I'm so sorry to read about your CP and the loss of your son, I hope the 2ww is kind to you and you get your BFP soon! Flowers

Sorry about AF, Hells and wantingbaby. I remember the months where I was so hopeful that we would have had a "happy accident" and never being sure what was more disappointing, AF or seeing a negative test. In the end I decided just waiting for my period was less stressful. I decided this month that if AF arrived I would buy myself a nice bottle of red (to share with my husband..!), do something fun and grown-up like going out for dinner. And then pick 1 or 2 things to make me healthier for next cycle. Like - a nice smoothie mix or maybe one of the fancy fertility supplements.

Again I've been taking tests everyday (and not the cheap ones because they don't. bloody. work) just to see if the line is still there. Ridiculous, because I know that POAS doesn't help or mean anything day-to-day but still..I am not going for the £13 tests though. What a rip-off! So far line is getting darker. But according to my app my period is due today so I still feel like a fraud.

Let's see.

Wow Ovaries how great to have your family young. Are you having a big fancy wedding - like, will you have to hide a pregnancy?!

Tinkerbell2319 · 31/10/2016 16:15

Hi all

Cycle 2 technically "trying" but 4 months total "hoping"

TTC#1 AF due 8/11/16

2WW is a pain in the ass and it's only super early days but getting less excited and more pessimistic each month, might be naive of me but it isn't happening as quickly as I thought it would :C fed up of SS already lol

Fx for everyone xx

MrsG280516 · 31/10/2016 18:50

Hi Tinkerbell good luck!

My FRERs came in the post today, two for £7.29 on Amazon haha. Now to hold off using them until Saturday!!

AgainPlease · 31/10/2016 19:14

MrsG good luck for holding out till then. It's so tough.

I spent around £70 on tests at Boots so I have enough to poas when I feel like until Friday/Saturday. The guy behind the counter was looking at me like YOU FREAK why you need so many tests 😳😷

I gave birth/lost my son in August so this is our 3rd cycle since delivery but I think it's good going I had a CP already. I hope that's my body saying "I'm ready".

OvariesBeforeBrovaries · 31/10/2016 19:58

Are you having a big fancy wedding - like, will you have to hide a pregnancy?!

Yep! I've got my hen do on the 19th so if I get a BFP on the 9th I'll need to find some kind of excuse to cancel it Grin my friends won't believe "I'm on antibiotics", I only just about got away with that with DD - they were wondering why the heck I wasn't drinking and getting up on the karaoke stage during Freshers Grin and then I need to hope my boobs don't go massive so I still fit into my dress Blush

Flappergirl86 · 31/10/2016 20:01

againplease If only he knew the torment women go through in the journey to conceive, he should have looked at you like you were Venus! Despite your sad times so far you can take comfort in the fact you know you can get pregnant easily, thats half the battle won already. xx

jools20 · 31/10/2016 23:17

can i join in please? ttc no2 after 2yrs on cerelle, took last one yesterday. not quite sure what to expect as AF was erratic on cerelle & could be anywhere between 3 days-3 weeks. are there any good apps i should download/should i get opk? thanks

AiryFairy1991 · 01/11/2016 06:23

cookielove · 01/11/2016 08:29

Sorry to hear that af is catching every one out this month :(

jools I have the ovia app!

OvariesBeforeBrovaries · 01/11/2016 08:56

Sorry to hear about AF catching people out :(

I'm trying not to symptom spot Hmm I've got another week until AF is due! Grin

charley2016 · 01/11/2016 09:04

Bloody AF! Sorry everyone :(

I have no idea what I'm doing to be honest Confused My app estimates ovulation today. Me and my hubby only really get time together at the weekend so hoped to catch it. However I read up more info so I checked CM and its creamy and an OVPK said negative. Worried I'll ovulation on Thursday etc and miss it! Makes you wander how so many people fall by accident on one night! It's like a bloody science Wink

MrsG280516 · 01/11/2016 09:24

charley an app will just be going on the "average" cycle, but so many people ovulate earlier/later than that and also can have longer or shorter cycles. Definitely trust your body and OPKs more than the app!

Hi girls, sorry to hear the witch caught some of you. It's always so disappointing when she rears her ugly red head!

I think I'm 8dpo trying for our second baby and I had a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks, 7 weeks ago. Haven't had a period since but I'm hoping it'll stay that way and I get a bfp in the next few days!

How many days do most people test? I'm very impatient and normally start testing with Internet cheapies around now. I think I got my bfp with my DS at 10 or 11 dpo...

Would also love a September baby so wouldn't be too gutted it didn't work out this cycle. Plus, my obstetrician said I should wait until after I've had a period but I reckon that's just for dating purposes.
