Hi everyone! I didn't realise there was a November bus (thanks Mimi!), so just had 3 pages to read!

Mira, me and OH recently had a row over it all so I'm trying to relax a bit this month (easier said than done, right!)

Yes my luteal phase seems to have gone a bit haywire. It used to be bang on 14days but has been less than that since having coil out. I am going to do opk's from day 7 this cycle to get a handle on it all!
I am going to try to dtd every other day or so from about then as well. Just so we care covered so to speak!

mrsg I found ovulation pains almost exactly like period pains last cycle...if I hadn't known better would have thought it was the shortest cycle ever! Goods luck for your fertile week!

Hope the hard work pays off We DTD pretty much daily when ttc DD1 but poor DH is feeling more deprived this time round - toddler who sleeps in our bed and a wife who works lots of night shifts does not make DTD easy! Saving the energy for next week... AF week is almost as bad as tww...I want to get started already

Well despite having EWCM about a week ago I didn't have a positive
OPK (which I always get on CD17/18) so I had resigned myself to a cycle where I didn't ovulate but I woke up yesterday morning, on CD 21, to absolutely loads of EWCM!! Unfortunately I have no OPK strips to see if/when I'm going to ovulate and I'm away from DH for 5 days so I can't DTD anyway.

We DTD two days before all the EWCM arrived so who knows, maybe our one go this month in the middle of a weird cycle will give me a BFP seeing as 8 months of perfectly timesd sex during normal cycles hasn't resulted in one....

Found a random OPK and this came up within 15 seconds....

Not holding out hope this month as only DTD once when my monitor said peak. Am random symptom spotting at the moment - my boobs hurt and feel heavy (but this could just be PMS). How early can I POAS as i am having an impatient tww!

Having been trying for a few months but first cycle using OPKs so hoping that will pinpoint the best time to pin down DH ;-) not that he's complaining - yet!

Had my temp rise this morning to I think today is 1dpo anyone else just started the tww?

Is there any opk wizards here? I'm using up my opk sticks so I can relax for next month!! Anyway, I have a positive today but had ov pains yesterday(also had very near positive yesterday) So when did/do I ovulate?!?

purple its my first month using OPKs but I had AF type pains for three days Saturday-Monday but didn't get a positive OPK till Sunday night. I think that I ovulated overnight last night as my temperature increased quite a lot this morning. I think in general you ovulate within 24-48 hours of the initial positive.

Thanks MrsG. I always went by the pains 'til I saw the positive! Probably been timing dtg all wrong!!! No wonder it's not happening

It depends on when your surge is really. I had a positive on Sunday night but then last night it was really strong, the test line was darker than the control line. I did another OPK this morning and it was similar to Sunday night, so that makes me think that the surge is on its way back down. The FF app might correct me though and say I ovulated today based on the positive OPK.

It's really confusing!! If I test tonight and it's lighter does that mean I have ovulated? I should be joining you on the 2ww soon!

I think once the line goes lighter then you've either ovulated already or should ovulate that day if its the day after a positive

Thanks for being an opk wizard! I finished my grapefruit juice yesterday so just had segments!! Yuk! I do not advise on grapefruit segments lol. I much prefer the pineapple for the 2ww!

I've been having ovulation cramps and had a little bit of delightful brown discharge today which google tells me is normal around ovulation. My OPK stick looks like I might be approaching an egg blast so I'm gonna harvest OH's seed tonight. That's where I'm at. Clue reckons my peak fertile day is tomorrow and Ovia reckons its in 4 days, is fertility friend better?

I have no experience with tracking my ovulation, so we will try to relax and DTD as often as possible to cover our bases as soon as AF leaves town ;)

Jumping on this bus if I may as I'm hopeful this month may be lucky! Was successful in 1st cycle with DD, stupidly thought it'd be easier this time but no such luck!

I'm hoping I ovulated today, I shall poas in a mo to see if it has faded as we dtg last night and this morning.

My OPK has gone back to negative tonight so the surge is definitely gone, if I didn't already ovulate last night then I should have today! 2ww now begins!

Lots of opk action on here - great! I think i will start stick pissing tomorrow eve and see where we are..... child free night tomorrow so got to get on it!
And i agree with MrsG - the line gets darker then i think you have about 36 hours until ovulation then the line gets fainter pretty sharpish.
There's loads of people online who keep all the sticks and stick them on a piece paper to show you the rise and fall of their HcG. I mean, while that is quite a useful thing to see - seriously - too much time on their hands!
