POAS negative, only 8/9 dpo. Don't think it will be my month, I already had nausea by this point last time and I'm sure I won't be lucky enough not to suffer with morning sickness next time.

I'll prob be around same time as you Eva if AF doesn't show up. Think Ovia is telling me to test in 8 days... Really cannot see AF not arriving before then though

Eek my last IC was a bit dodgy-stuck to its packet so all the dye ended up on one side. I left it for 3hours bottom strip. I then used SMU with a boots strip only 25mu and it looked like the top pic within time limit.
Will buy a proper test later to hopefully show the oh. It just doesn't feel real!

Sorry to hear of people's pesky AFs arriving. Hope the October bus gives you BFPs.

We've managed to DTD once so far this month. Not a stellar effort!

I grabbed a fertility and conception book from the library the other day and there's a bit in it that says it takes couples who have sex 3 times a month on average 15 months to conceive; those who do it 10 times per month take on average 5 months and those who do it 15 times or more, take 3 and a half months. Not sure what age the couples are though for these numbers. So a bit of work needed on mine and dh's part. Plus I'm 36 so that will probably bump the time up even more. Sigh.

I've just joined from the June/July/Beyond bus - not sure why I didn't come over here sooner. I'm 35, DP 47, ttc #1, cycle #7, cd30, around 14dpo (enough stats?!). No sign of af but am not sure exactly when I o'd. None of the usual cramps and very gassy, also ravenous today and I've been to the loo more than usual (I feel wet then nothing when I wipe). But I'm probably just imagining things. DP looks at me intensely every time I come out of the loo; he keeps expecting I'll get af and come out looking sad. Negative hpt yesterday and today. Will test again tomorrow if no sign of af.

If haven't posted for a while. TTC since June. Cycles have been all over the place but I think they have settled down now. I'm either cycle 2 or 3 a not sure as I've had spotting but I wasn't sure whether it was a period or not.

Anyway I got a 'proper' period and I am now CD 17. I have been doing OPKs for the first time this month. So far they have all been negative however today I think it may be positive. Any opinions? The test line is thinner than the control line but looks as dark.

I feel quite excited this month and I'm having good thoughts. Also I've just unpacked some books from storage and found my old baby name book which I've been perusing.

I'd count that as positive katie!

31 days happybus - that is a long one. How long are they usually or are they unpredictable?

It took us 18 cycles to conceive our first and we were probably DTD 3 times a month so those stats were pretty close for us. (I was 34 when we finally got lucky.) hoping to up our DTD rate this time around to the 10 times a month level.

I've just finished reading a funny book on infertility woes called Infertility Insanity by Julie Selby. She describes her journey through IVF and all the alternative therapy stuff she tried including Reiki. Has anyone tried that before? Am intrigued by her description of it.

lulu they have been long ever since coming off the pill in May. Was on the pill 10 years so don't really remember what my cycles were like before then. 1st cycle off pill was 42 days, 2nd 51 days, currently on cycle 3 CD31. Done a OPK every day since CD12 this cycle and only just got a positive today! It's very annoying but I feel a bit happier that at least I've had a positive OPK now.

Yay for the positive OPK happy even if your cycles are long, it's a good sign that you are ovulating, hopefully your cycle will shorten over time! Have you looked into anything herbal to try help regulate cycles?

I'm only 7dpo at the moment, AF due on wed. I feel so excited for this week though. Providing AF doesn't come I'm going to test on Friday (if I can wait that long)

lulu, no news here. Negative hpt this morning but still no af. Felt bit sick for about an hour this morning and been to the loo at least 8 times today which is a little more than usual. However, these are probably psychosomatic! I may have felt af cramps in car on the way home today. But I was sitting down and couldn't absolutely tell (usually I get them when I'm lying down in bed). So expecting af tomorrow now! It's already two days later than expected.

Ha! No news, I say, then go on to give all my updates!
