Vox have you done a pink dye frer? I think if you aren't getting a positive on one of those then your not pregnant so go out and have a few drinks. Drink wise I do agree with your thinking about it not hurting in the TWW however I think that overall being tee total while ttc as part of a healthier lifestyle would probably help with the ttc. I was much healthier and gave up drinking etc when I convinced number one( first cycle) this time around I'm less fit, drink more and am a couple of years older - starting to think that none of that helps!! Hope your alright lets, did you test again? go with a frer as will give you a clear no if not PG.

ps I don't work for first response Grin

voxnihili · 03/09/2016 17:25

I don't have a FRER and no chance of going out to get one.

I get the importance of a healthier lifestyle when TTC - I'm actually really healthy and lost 2 stone prior to TTC - I wasn't particularly overweight but my body fat percentage was too high for my natural shape. I've done it all through a healthy diet and moderate exercise. I've cut caffeine to just one coffee in the morning. I don't smoke or take drugs. I don't eat any of the things you're not supposed to eat during pregnancy. I don't drink heavily (usually one bottle a week) and worry that cutting everything out that I enjoy would just make TTC more stressful. My thought has always been that I would stop as soon as I got a BFP or if my period was late (even if I got a BFN). I'm wrestling with my conscience a lot over it and may stop during my 2ww, but I don't want to give up the small amount I drink completely for something that may just not happen.

FlashingLights · 03/09/2016 18:51

vox I feel the same confusion in regards to drinking. I'm not a big drinker at all (probably 2 glasses a month unless there's an occasion) I do enjoy the occasional glass of wine. I'm a midwife and know just how unclear and contradictory all the guidelines are in regards to drinking in pregnancy.

I'd stop all alcohol if I got a BFP but if I fancied a glass of wine during the 2WW I would.

Walikingdeadfan · 03/09/2016 19:21

Im so confused. Had some mild cramping and feel a bit tired and fed up. But not sure it is af coming or not. Not due til monday, so aiming to avoid testing until tues.
I think a little alcohol in 2ww should be ok

Wifey1990 · 03/09/2016 19:40

Tested a big clear negative!!! Still no AF Confused what's going on??? Good luck to everyone else testing this weekend!

sk1pper · 03/09/2016 21:57

Everyone seems to be waiting for AF at the moment, have we all synced over the web :D

Writerwannabe83 · 03/09/2016 22:06

And my period has arrived Sad

On to cycle 4 I go......

sk1pper · 03/09/2016 22:22

Sorry writer xx

MrsGsnow18 · 03/09/2016 22:40

Hard to keep up with everyone on the bus!
walkingdeadfan I hope it's some kind of food cramping you have and not AF!

wifey what kind of test did you use?

writer Wine sorry the witch got you.

Just to join in the with 2ww alcohol chat, I've been avoiding just because each time I am soo convinced I'm pregnant. I like to just wait and then I drown my sorrows when AF comes! Which has actually made me a total emotional wreck the last few months crying into my wine about how I'll never be a mother Sad ( alcohol makes me very dramatic Blush)

MrsGsnow18 · 03/09/2016 22:40

walkingdeadfan that was supposed to be good cramping! Not food!

Me9an · 03/09/2016 23:25

Don't know if I've gone insane or if I hold it up at the right angle I can see something? Pretty sure there's nothing there but I thought I'd post it just incase!

Streaky17 · 03/09/2016 23:46

Me9an - sorry I don't see anything (but I never do ...)

Wifey1990 · 04/09/2016 07:21

The witch still not with me, tested again NEGATIVE. Really not sure what is going on in like a clock Confused 2 days late now l.

voxnihili · 04/09/2016 07:51

Day 33 in Vox's uterus (said in best big brother voice). Still no sign of AF, another test showed negative. I'll test again if it hasn't arrived by next weekend..
On the plus side, being late should push ovulation next month into the next phase of DP's shift pattern so at least he'd be at home, even if we only got one shot at it (so unlikely to happen given how much we DTD on holiday!).

Wifey1990 · 04/09/2016 08:22

Vox how many days is your usual cycle? X

voxnihili · 04/09/2016 08:26

I'm slightly irregular but usually between 29 and 31 days. What's weird though is that I normally get period pains for about 5 days beforehand which I haven't had. I had a TV scan a couple of months ago due to my extended ovulation pains (up to 7 days) and period pains but nothing was found. I expected AF to be closer to 29 days this month as the ovulation pains seemed to start earlier than normal in my cycle.

How about you - how many days are yours usually? Do you have any ideas what could have made you late?

Walikingdeadfan · 04/09/2016 08:44

Thanks mrsG -im feeling a bit better this morning. But still some mild pains on and off.
Sorry writer- fx for next month.

Wifey1990 · 04/09/2016 09:13

I'm usually 25-26 days. No reason why I should not be late either. I'm very regular. I do feel very sickly, back ache very sore boobs etc. It's driving me insane I just want to know. I had my surgery to unblock my tubes on the 14th July which was successful. Had my regular AF finished 6th August.
Mother Nature keeping us on our toes I guess.
My worry is I have an ache on my right side, sometimes it's a stabbing paid for a few seconds, I'm at a high risk ectopic. I have my fertility consultant on the 12th sept.
Don't know whether to just wait until then? Or keep testing if the witch does not come.

sk1pper · 04/09/2016 09:30

Wifey/vox/walking - one of you must get a BFP, I'm seriously crossing everything for you ladies.

I've awoke feeling particularly AF-like, too scared to go to the toilet or stand up :/

MrsGsnow18 · 04/09/2016 10:32

me9an sorry I didn't see anything on your test either.

Someone has to get a BFP soon hopefully! We need some positivity on the bus!

vox my DH works weird shifts/ is always away during my peak fertility! It's so frustrating! Angry

Yesterday on CD 24 I got static smiley, thinking it's quite late for ovulation but I do sometimes have 35 days cycles. If I ovulated today that gives me a ten day luteal phase... I hope that's long enough ( off to google)

sk1pper · 04/09/2016 11:21

I've never understood the luteal phase, I get that its the time between ovulation and the 1st day of period but PMS will normally start a few days before your period so do you really only have the time between ovulation and PMS?

voxnihili · 04/09/2016 11:59

Wifey - I hope your ache turns out to be nothing. I had stabbing pains on the right side last night and started panicking especially when I googled and saw that sometimes you don't get a BFP with ectopic due to lower HCG. I have no reason to believe I'm at an increased risk though.

MrsGnow - it is incredibly frustrating especially when trying to make the process as natural as possible but feel like we have to compare diaries which is not romantic!

I still feel tired, headachey and fluey. Nothing too horrendous, but certainly not myself. Just want AF to show up as hate the not knowing although given the 7 BFNs I think deep down I know I'm not.

lalaland1985 · 04/09/2016 12:05

CD37. No sign of AF. I'm getting pissed off.

lalaland1985 · 04/09/2016 12:07

Rage!
