AF got me this morning so I'm out. Going to take a break next month otherwise I'll have 2 DC's birthdays in May - seems ridiculous now but I know it will bother me in the future - so am going to leave this thread for a while. Plus I think I need some space from all the TTC stuff for a while. Good luck everyone for this and next cycle - hopefully I won't see anyone of you here when I'm back at the end of September.

Still no AF here for me. That's a week overdue now. Haven't done another poas since I got the negative yesterday, and I'm not doing anymore. I have a doctors appointment Tuesday if AF hasn't come by then to start the ball rolling finding out wtf is going on

DP is just popping out to get a test. My reluctance to test is because I know if it's a BFP it'll just kick off weeks of intense anxiety, hospital appointments, petrifying scans etc. I'm meant to take aspirin, progesterone and steroids the next time I'm pregnant due to recurrent miscarriages. I've had so many scans where the sonographer goes silent that I'm struggling to find any excitement at the moment. Just fear.

It has taken me 2.5 years to get to the point I thought I was ready to cope with ttc and all that comes with me being pregnant again but now I'm not sure I am.

It was negative. If my AF hasn't arrived in a few days I'll test again but I do feel like it's on its way.

Wondering if I've joined the 2ww early. Ovia was claiming ov was next week but I got these opks today at 2pm and 7pm ladies, what do you think?

AF arrived. I'm quite relieved to be honest, I don't want a missing period although I was 4 days late. I'm going to concentrate on eating well as over the last few months we've gone from being super healthy to very lazy and making average food choices. I'm hoping that'll assist in regulating my periods as that's now 2 months of very odd cycles.

I'm quite glad though. This past week has made me realise that I'm not quite ready to be pregnant again yet after all my surgery last year. Even though my surgeon has okay'd it, I don't know how my body will cope. It was only a year ago my insides were on one operating table and I was on another. I'm very lucky to be alive! I have a scar from just under my boobs right down the centre of my tummy to my section scar. I have a hernia that makes me look already pregnant and I shit in a bag. Nah, not ready yet, next year though.

I'm not sure if there's even a possibility I've OVed yet as I'm quite early on in my cycle ( day 12) however all the signs were pointing to having OVed in the last 48 hours.

I DTD on Thursday but not since then so it's entirely possible I could have conceived. I'm not in a serious relationship with my partner and we've never not used contraception before. However, if I were to get pregnant I'd be a very happy bunny, him, not so much. We had a conversation immediately after it happened and was freaking out.

I know its not a conventional situation but it'd be good not to have to go through the TWW alone.

I am ttc #2 and this is the first month that I have been 'properly' doing so. I haven't used any ovulation tests, just monitored my CM according to Zita West's book. I am approx 14 dpo but have long cycles and am not due on until mid next week.

I actually think I ovulated earlier this cycle than previously so not sure what's going on but I'm not doing a test until AF is officially late.

The waiting/not knowing/unpredictability is not fun! It took me a year to conceive my DS but since having him I have not used any contraception (other than breastfeeding!) so I'm hoping my body will be less messed up than it was when I came off the pill after a decade!

Is anyone else in a similar position or has any words of wisdom to share?

Hi to the newbies, sorry it's been a bit quiet around here! Anyone still about? Am a couple of days post ovulation. I'd decided after my last cycle that I would have a break from TTC for the next couple of months, however we've not been preventing either so will see what the end of the cycle brings.

I'm still about, coming to the end of fertile week so 2ww just about to begin. Trying not to think about it, easier said than done

I don't temp, so I don't know when exactly I ovulated but I got my positive OPK ten days ago so I'm possibly 8/9 days post ovulation?

I woke up this morning with a constant ache and pinching sensation in my pelvis and this afternoon I was hit by a wave of exhaustion, I could barely keep my eyes open and still am struggling to if I'm honest. I also just a bit rotten in general and seem to have a few spots breaking out on my face which never happens to me.

Part of me wants to POAS in the morning but I have previously told myself not to until my period is late

You should deffo POAS in the morning wannabe and post the result

Sorry, on looking back that last post looks SO bad following yours letswait - that's not how I intended it at all! I'm so sorry. Just meant that this has been an unlucky thread for me (maybe should step away now) and I always think I'll get a BFP because I'm bloated, then get AF....again wasn't meant to offend. So sorry xx
