Af is due Easter Monday and I definitely won't cave and test early, I promise! Anyone with me? Anytime from Good Friday counts as an Easter Bfp Grin

And it's funny how we all vary so much my want of chocolate makes me think it's happening, I am not a fan usually.

LuckyBlackKitty · 19/03/2016 08:58

Thanks Penguins. Fingers crossed this is a lucky thread and there are plenty of BFPs to go around.

That's weird with your cat. I convinced myself I must be pregnant one month because our cat suddenly started sitting on my lap. I was convinced it was a sign however the much more logical reason which I came to realise after BFN was that he was just settling in with us. He was a new rescue cat (had him 6months) and he was finally settling in. Your scenario sounds much more plausible! Grin

Mrsmulder · 19/03/2016 09:22

Morning all, I am convinced my boobs are fuller and tender today. Is it even possible to have symptoms at 6dpo?

OP posts:
TessWess · 19/03/2016 09:47

Ooo really Mrsmulder?! I've heard of people reporting symptoms the day after conception, so 6dpo is very feasible, the fertilised egg is in the fallopian tube 3dpo according to my ovulation calendar xx

Mrsmulder · 19/03/2016 11:07

I hope it's not just in my head. I have at least another week before I can test, I am going to drive myself mad!

thisisbloodyridiculous · 19/03/2016 16:48

Hello can I join? I'm due on Easter Mon too and trying v hard not to over think! Had no symptoms as yet ... but then again in Feb I felt every symptom in the book and had BFNs and also made myself quite upset over thinking and getting emotional.

If I ov'd on time I'm 7dpo but not using opks or anything so hard to tell! Really hoping for a BFP this time - if not then we're having a month off from TTC as DH & I both have our birthdays in Jan plus wedding anniversary so not keen on adding first baby's birthday to the January mix!!

TessWess · 19/03/2016 17:46

Welcome! I totally get what you're saying about January 2017! So many birthdays in my family then too, and Just after Christmas, it's probably the least preferable timing for us, so reeeeally want that BFP this month, an early December delivery would be a very nice early Christmas pressie Smile xx

LuckyBlackKitty · 19/03/2016 19:46

Mrsmulder I'm joining you on the symptom spotting - abdominal cramps for me. I'm either 5dpo or 7dpo depending on when I ovulated.

Hi ridiculous - IKWYM about convincing yourself that you are pg. some months I've had sore boobs, nausea, off some foods, cramps, moodiness etc and still bfn. Mother Nature toying with us, no doubt.

KitKat1985 · 19/03/2016 20:10

Well I've got zero symptoms here and am 99% sure I'm not pregnant, so had a boozy lunch today to celebrate a friend's birthday. Am sure I'll start peeing on sticks next week anyway though. I'm an addict!

LuckyBlackKitty · 19/03/2016 20:19

I don't blame you Kitkat. In fact I was doing the same today as we had a family lunch for my dad's birthday.
In the first few months I gave up all alcohol in the 2ww but 12 months later, that has gone out the window.

KitKat1985 · 19/03/2016 20:29

Oh LuckyBlack I feel for you. I've only been trying for 3 cycles so far and I'm already getting fed up. I can't imagine how frustrating 12 months of TTC must be. xx Flowers I was very lucky with DD in that I conceived on only the second cycle, but I've got a feeling it's going to take quite a bit longer this time.

LuckyBlackKitty · 19/03/2016 20:48

Fingers crossed this will be your month Kitkat Smile

thisisbloodyridiculous · 19/03/2016 21:18

luckyblack blimey 12 months of TTC must be driving you crackers!

Cake to everyone since Wine is off the cards for most of us!

Mrsmulder · 19/03/2016 21:20

Good luck to everyone, especially those who have been ttc a long time. I have always fell pregnant fairly quickly, it's staying pregnant that I struggle with Sad me and dh have already talked and decided if anything went wrong this time, that would be it. I wouldn't put myself through it again.

My boobs are definitely tender and I have been having sharp twinges in my lower abdomen. Dh thinks I am mad Grin

When is everyone going to test? I want to wait till Easter Monday but I bet I will cave. I am working good fri and Easter sun so I definitely won't test on those days. Is anyone hardcore and waiting till the day af is due?

OP posts:
thisisbloodyridiculous · 19/03/2016 22:02

mrsmulder just double checked and af due on the Saturday so I'm planning on testing on Easter Monday morning if af late. I'm working every day except Easter Mon & Tues 29th so should be relatively easy to stay distracted and not tempted to poas! Hopefully! Grin easier said than done of course Wink

thisisbloodyridiculous · 19/03/2016 22:03

Also Flowers for you having trouble with TTC I hope you have a sticky one this time fingers crossed!

Mrsmulder · 19/03/2016 22:17

Wow, waiting till you are late, that is truly hardcore Grin

Thanks for the flowers, I have been diagnosed with a medical condition since my losses so hopefully would have better odds this time. I reckon in reality I will cave and test on the sat, I am just so impatient!

OP posts:
LuckyBlackKitty · 19/03/2016 22:29

ridiculous - thanks it has sent me a bit crackers! Got to stay positive though.

I'll be testing on Easter Sunday.

Good luck for holding out until Monday.
