Congratulations sneaks - you are pregnant!

goingfor3 · 02/02/2007 10:52

Congratulations sneaks!!!

I fell happier today as the OPK was positive today, I'm just surprised it didn't show up until today which is day 16 whereas last month it showed up at day 13. Hopefully we will not be too tired tonight!

Sneaks · 02/02/2007 11:03

thanks guys. I have a doc appointment today to confirm.Previously had an ectopic pregnancy so I have to be careful I think.

Ready · 02/02/2007 11:32

Jo&TheBoys, fingers crossed for you!!!

Gillian1973, glad you are going to leave it as long as you can til you test!! Good for you!!

Goingfor3 - Sorry I told you wrong. oops.

Lottie - I just bought some Boots opks, and it says for a 28 day cycle to start testing on day11... worried now. should I start on 9 do you think?

Babylove, How are you?? Not good news here, my temp dropped to below my coverline, so pretty sure what that means!!

Ammy, you have in there!!!

Iwillbepgbydec2007, Sorry that this isn't the cycle. Fingers crossed for the next one.

Plummymummy, be strong. No early testing.

Sneaks, big congratulations!! All the best.

Everyone else, hope you are all doing well... it's annoying being out of the race so soon into the Month, but I will still keep an eye on how the rest of you get on.

goingfor3 · 02/02/2007 11:41

Ready, you didn't tell me wrong! Last month I started testing early, then one afternoon I noticed lots of EWCM and that's when I tested positive. This month I haven't had any ewcm which is why I didn't test until later. I still haven't had any which doesn't bode to well, hopefully some will arrive later.

sideways · 02/02/2007 12:13

plummymummy - I am due Sunday or Monday and it is taking every ounce of self-control I have (not much) not to test.

I keep convincing myself that if I test and get a -ve, I will at least know and can drink large amounts of wine this weekend!

cityangel · 02/02/2007 13:08

Hey Ready, my LP has been 9 ? 11 days and my cycle?s been getting longer 39 days this month Having to wait 28 days just to OV is really frustrating.

CD2 today and very upset. I just feel that it?s never going to happen. My temp didn?t drop so I was getting stupidly excited. This is the lowest I?ve felt to date and I am running out of new things to try other than the obvious.

I Booked a doctors appt and started a thread on what to expect but I am not holding much hope.

Still I should be happy for this good things in life I do have and stop moping about. I am excited for all the BFPs this month and hope we have some more!

Ambi · 02/02/2007 13:19

Howdy ladies, I've been lurking for a bit, but reckon it's about time I say hello. I'm trying to understand all the abbrev's. We're TTC no1, and only started in Jan so I know I've got the long wait ahead and love the support you guys give each other.

nat24 · 02/02/2007 13:37

Hello ladies, Can i join in. DP an i will be trying for our 1st baby this month once my period has been and gone. Im absolutly terrified. Lost one baby last Nov due to Ectopic Pregnancy. Trying to think positive for the next.

toomanyshoes · 02/02/2007 13:54

Hello, can i join in too? I've also been lurking! Second month of ttc for us. Already have a nearly 2 year old dd. I am on cd10 so hoping to ovulate next week but had a mirena fitted until just before xmas so don't think my cycle is quite back to normal yet. Trying not to be obsessed by the whole thing but just so desperate for a bfp!! Also, found out that 2 of my best friends are pregnant this week so would be great to have some company on maternity leave!!
Good luck to all of us and congratulations to those who already have their bfp x

ammylovesbabies · 02/02/2007 13:58

AF not here yet but have come home from work with horrible stomach cramps, don't normally have period pain but the last 2 months since I had my coil out have been awful. I feel sick with the pain. bummer. My fat lady has got piano accompianment and is clearing her throat.

How is everyone else? Anybody else think they will make it to the 10/02 testing club?

iwillbepgbydec07 · 02/02/2007 14:44

thanks for your commiserations

beansprout - sounds good trudging along together - i should be able to squeeze another af in before the end of february as my cycles are so short 24/25/26 days so il stick with this thread for now. plus i dont want to be the only one on the march thread..however march was a lucky month for me last yr as i got pregnant so hopefully itl be a double whammy!

sneaks congrats on bfp!! - i knew you were!

i keep reading the graduate ttc pregnancy thread..makes me a bit teary..im so happy for the girls but just wish i was joining them..but enough of that..POSITIVE THOUGHTS!!

how are you holding out ready? ammy? anyone else left in the 10/02 club?

i hope february hasnt reached its peak already!

have a good weekend all il try and pop on if i can xx

iwillbepgbydec07 · 02/02/2007 14:46

beansprout howlong are your cycles? how long have you been ttc?

just fishing for background as we are gonna be sort of cycle buddies and left here on our own...its gonna be a looooonnnngggg month!

Pottypotpot · 02/02/2007 14:47

Sneaks! Congratulations!
I knew you would be as your symptons sounded exactly like mine.
Woohoo!

beansprout · 02/02/2007 14:50

Iwillbe - my cycles are irregular - anything from 25-31 or so days, but settling down to 29-31. I could start a March thread but I started this one and hung around on my own for while so it's just far too depressing to have to go and sit on a new thread each month. To be out of the running for Feb before January had even finished was just pants!!

Have been ttc since last June, has now been 10 cycles (I think). Ds is 2.3.

Congratulations Sneaks!!!

iwillbepgbydec07 · 02/02/2007 14:54

beansprout · 02/02/2007 14:57

Sounds like we are in a similar boat then! Let's trudge!

OP posts:
iwillbepgbydec07 · 02/02/2007 14:58

ok its a deal

plummymummy · 02/02/2007 15:24

sideways I feel exactly the same. If I get a bfn it will make a few drinks tonight seem justified

Ready, I hope I'm not speaking out of turn too, but I hate to hear you beat yourself up over this. U are normally so perky. I think you are doing all you can at the moment, but I really wonder whether doing something to help you relax could help. Reflexology or acupuncture? I have heard lots of positive stories and I really think you could do with something that makes you feel pro-active but helps you look after your mental well being to boot.

We have all been there- disappointed and upset and feeling like we should be doing more. I remeber last month when you got really down and it just doesnt seem fair when you are the most chipper and happy one out of us all!!

Sneaks · 02/02/2007 16:07

Pottypotts and Iwillbepg ... [grins]
If you knew why didn't you tell me you bitches [grins]

Good luck to all !!!

Pottypotpot · 02/02/2007 16:16

How bad would I have felt if I'd been wrong??
I'll see you on Winnies October thread hopefully.
(I still feel its too good to be true and am not joining any ante-natal threads just yet.)

JoAndTheBoys · 02/02/2007 17:04

Girls, you are not going to believe this but this morning I caved in and did an early Ebay cheapy test - a faint line came up but I thought my eyes were deceiving me, so I used the Clearblue digital one that was sat waiting for me to use on Monday.....and.....

B F P

It said 'Pregnant'!

I literally cannot believe it!

I have never had a test show up BFP this early, by my calculations I'm not even 4 weeks pregnant until Sunday at the earliest!

Have done another cheapy ebay one just now and there is an unmistakeable line... I just feel like testing and testing so I can line them all up and stare at them for the rest of the evening until it sinks in!

DH is absolutely thrilled, we have both had massive grins on our faces all day, and he took me out for lunch earlier to celebrate
