Symptom spotters, tww - ers, slightly hysterical hormone laden ladies! Regs, lurkers, intermittent posters! Our raison d'etre is 'am I pregnant?'

Thread 12. Welcome!

We do not judge, we enjoy TMI, we i encourage waiting to poas nobody listens and all the grossness you can find from a group of intelligent, articulate ladies.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I have been dubbed the resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself your pregnant in the tww

Pug everybody has their limits. Of course you're entitled to be frustrated by this too!! Has he had any support with how to manage the anxiety?

RaeSkywalker · 06/03/2016 16:19

Thanks blue Ni and pug

pug i'm so sorry to hear that. It's so tough supporting someone with anxiety. You are allowed to have a wobble! Flowers for you. I hope that your DP is accessing some good help for his anxiety?

Confusedcat1 · 06/03/2016 16:48

pug it's totally normal and human to feel like you do... Just take a breather and then go back to the situation. Flowers

jem now mine have dried more they look very negative... So going to dtd tonight, maybe tomorrow morning and just keep poas lol. We can only do so much, hopefully our eggs will plop out on Wednesday! Grin

Kwick709 · 06/03/2016 17:04

Starky lovely cross stitch. I love Dowager too :)

kat I love your monologue - those are the positive affirmations you should be doing. Okay so may be cd2 is a tad early but the chukka-chukka may bring you solace.

starky you will need to jump said DH.

rae I have just had a sunday roast yet and salivating at your picture... where are you? do you have any left over?

Ni fab card - enjoy your holiday!

bluebird sorry the witch got you Flowers

Kwick709 · 06/03/2016 17:06

pug I am sorry about your row with DH. I would have blown my top too... St Davids St Davids St Davids

Mooseville · 06/03/2016 17:25

Pug you are quite right to be upset. I'm sure you're supporting him as much as you can, asking for a few small jobs in the house is totally reasonable! I know where you're coming from, I had a bit of a go at my DP this morning. I'm doing all this overtime to go towards our house deposit, and all weekend he's just sat in and let the house fester. There's washing hung up that's all dry and old sausage fat in the pan from where he's managed to cook himself a sandwich but not wash up! Was he expecting me to work Sat and Sun and keep house??? (Police work btw since you asked!) I do just think they don't "see" it though like we do!

Absolutely loving the thought of fertilisation updates - if only!!!!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 06/03/2016 17:27

Managed a quickie 😁

pug I'm so sorry, like ni said, everyone has their limits. And anxiety is a beast to live with (for the person and their people.) He needs to seek help, or indeed, if he's already having help, he needs to up the dosage (medication or talk therapy wise). Anxiety can really impact your relationship and he needs to recognise that you're struggling too, you can't carry two people. Flowers

Thanks Kwick! I'm in Suffolk. I think I'm out on a limb here in East Anglia- seems like everyone else is south coast/ the north?

RaeSkywalker · 06/03/2016 17:31

.... Loads left over Wink

Hopefulbabydust · 06/03/2016 17:32

Thank you for your advice ladies, gonna test in a couple days and will keep you all updated, I'm just feeling it this month x

SuchaJem · 06/03/2016 17:47

Is something going on between kat and starky? 🤔

Sorry about AF bluebird and ni

rae erm - scone please 😬

SuchaJem · 06/03/2016 17:52

Oh pug only just seen your message lovely :( it's SO hard dealing with someone with anxiety, but it's also not fair that he's not help kg enough. This is the source of rows between me and DH too. Also effort to initiate DTD! I feel like this is 90% me. Although awful I hope getting everything out in the open helps in some way - it might help him see the impact of his behaviour on you.

confused yes to eggy Wednesday please. When is your oh away and back? I'm planning a VERY early shag tomorrow am and then weds morning as soon as he is back! If i could go and wait at Heathrow and shag him on the plane I would!

iPatches · 06/03/2016 17:52

Guys, I need a rant. I am royally fed up.

AF was due on Friday.
She hasn't shown.
Since THURSDAY I have had cramps. Bad ones.
I have the lightest, most pathetic amount of light brown discharge since Friday evening. Not visible on a panty liner, just toilet paper.
Tests are BFN and I have no other pregnancy symptoms whatsoever.

Should I be worried by now?

RaeSkywalker · 06/03/2016 17:58

Patches Flowers

I'm not sure if stress affects things? A couple of years ago AF was late, I did multiple tests (all BFN), it was a really bad time for me to be pregnant for multiple reasons. Got myself in a total state and ended up sobbing at the GPs, convinced I was upduffed and terrified. They did a blood test, it confirmed I wasn't, and AF turned up the next day! What I'm saying is I wonder whether actively waiting for it can delay things?

RaeSkywalker · 06/03/2016 17:59

... I realise that the above sounds a bit bananas! Sorry.

KatOnATinRo0f · 06/03/2016 18:03

Kwick - I don't think the chucks chucka would give DH much solace :-s I think he'd go into hiding.

KatOnATinRo0f · 06/03/2016 18:06

Patches maybe you are just having a light period?
Were you on the pill? I have periods that I only wipe with tissue and don't need a tampon. They are getting a bit heavier now I've been off the pill for longer (still only 2 tampons per cycle tho)

KatOnATinRo0f · 06/03/2016 18:10

Pug sorry about your row Thanks
Anxiety is a bitch, I hope your DH has some help and a way forward?
To put it in perspective... DH's day off work is a day I work. And I occasionally leave him with a tat such as "run the Hoover over" or "put the washing on" or "do the washing up" and whether it is done or not is completely not predictable. Sometimes half of it is done. Sometimes all, sometimes more (if more, then I am normally in trouble for "leaving the place in such a mess that he had to do it all") so it's better when it's not tbh!
(Just to add I do not live in a pigsty. And am generally on top of all the cleaning.)

KatOnATinRo0f · 06/03/2016 18:11

Stark I'd say jump DH in the shower but that's not so good for Doreen and Hugh.

Peaches8Posies · 06/03/2016 18:12

Evening ladies. Hope you have had/are having a lovely mothers (and mothers to be) day. This time next yr the thread will be full of round bellied ladies and little fluffy bundles of joy ☺

AF is a bitch! Sorry she's still showing her ugly mug!

pug I have anxiety and sometimes I need a good talking to, don't feel bad. I need to vocalise my feelings and sometimes I don't and when my OH feels stuff needs said then it actually can lead to me clearing the air with what I'm holding in. Don't feel bad it's a bitch to live with I know this x

Oh brought me in nice scones earlier I obviously must have mentioned your lovely baking skills ladies ☺

Hi five starky that quicky might just be the one ✋

ipatches I did another IC this morn still bfn but been cramping quite noticeably since Thursday day time. Would we be wise to go down the route of a more sensitive frer or such? I'm usually spot on with my cycle but once a yr the bitch throws in an extra 3/4 days because I obviously need the head f#ck of that! I'm not prone to spotting though.

Confusedcat1 · 06/03/2016 18:22

jem it's so freaky, our dhs have exactly the same travel plans (early Monday to weds eve) and I'm planning exactly the same times to dtd! Lol fingers crossed for us! We did it the last two nights and we will go for gold again tonight!

RaeSkywalker · 06/03/2016 18:24

The friend that ditched me on Saturday night has just text me to say that her new boyfriend (who she met 3 weeks ago) is taking her on a European city break this weekend...

SuchaJem · 06/03/2016 18:28

ipatch how frustrating :( are you using the good tests?

confused that is bizarre! Are you opking too? Wonder if we will ovulate together. We have DTD cd 8, 9, 11 and hopefully again today and tomorrow morning. Then weds morning as soon as he walks through the door it'll be pants off. Fx it'll be enough!

Peaches8Posies · 06/03/2016 18:53

rae that's quick! Very whirlwind romance...just been reading through earlier posts. Did you saying anything about her ditching you? It's awkward when there's a work relationship too.

vixarooni · 06/03/2016 18:55

I'd love a scone rae sooo need some food right now. I've been struggling a bit today with a late period, doing an opk and getting a line, then having a bfn after spending £££ on a test. We got our hopes up last night and the come down has been a little rough!

ipatches I'm exactly the same, but no need to worry. I've been over a month late being like this before (not due to contraception) its tough but eventually it will come....or your preggo!
