Symptom spotters, tww - ers, slightly hysterical hormone laden ladies! Regs, lurkers, intermittent posters! Our raison d'etre is 'am I pregnant?' Depending on how much Ovia (Whybird) has pissed us off/messed with our fw she is either the oracle or a sanctimonious charlatan.

Just a warning, we move FAST! Our threads last on average, about a week before they're full.

Fart stories make us laugh, stories about cervical mucus, pooing, cysts and nausea equally welcome. Although normal conversation is also encouraged.

We like acronyms, we make some up: PET = Proper expensive test. We love the d(h)...which can of course mean 'dearest' or 'dickhead' why, what were you thinking?

starky that's so tragic I can't bear to think about it properly. Sorry you've had to see such sadness.

sucha sorry you think you might have had a chemical. If so, it doesn't affect your chances of getting pregnant next cycle at all, from what I have read. If anything it shows you're ovulating and that OH's swimmers are up to the task.

elle I'm going to do OPKs again but not temping. Haven't bothered with it yet and am not convinced I'd be able to do it consistently. Definitely lots of poking though 😆

Thanks for the support with my chemical fears. I never got a BFN so I guess I'll maybe never know, but I had so many unusual symptoms for me, and my period being out of whack is so so unusual. It's actually stopped completely today - so I've bled for two days and now nothing. Don't think it's worth testing again, as it's been pretty heavy for two days.

Here's to next month. Think we can try again at the end of next week.

I was just forced to test before I had my smear - obvs BFN - not surprised but still a little tiny bit disappointed.
However, it seems I am destined for humilitation every time I POAS. The nurse said 'you can do it now, or do it in private' so, I obviously said I wanted to do it in private, and that peeing on a cup on the floor is beyond my level of public indecency. She looks at me quizzically, and with ill-concealed disgust says 'by private I meant take it home, if you do it here you would be expected to use the lavatory.' I then muster as much dignity as possible and retreat to the loo to poas with shame. Most. awkward. smear. ever.

CD 23 and counting. Still having light cramps. TMI: this morning I had the very faintest amount of spotting in what looked surprisingly like CM, but I may well have imagined it. Ah well. I think AF is incoming, but I'm not out just yet. shakes fist in a vaguely threatening manner at AF

Today symtpoms include massive fatigue, random nausea, slobbery mouth, looser bowels than Katie prices morals, a metallic taste in my mouth that would compare to giving Ironman oral and a short tempered than a midget with road rage...

Nothing new really. Boobs are still mighty fine though. Even if I can't touch them hahaha

Cthulhoo, I'm CD 21 and have been having similar cramping. No spotting that I've noticed yet though. I definitely feel like AF is about to arrive and keep expecting to see it there every time I go to the loo but this would be really early so I'm keeping everything crossed!

Having cramps today and just felt very wet. Assumed it was af so went to check/apply a tampon to bleedy vag but it was a substantial amount of sticky cm.

Kathrino, fingers crossed for you! I seem to have a split personality for the time being. I convinced one half of my brain that it really did happen this time; while not necessarily indicative, the symptoms are at least consistent with implantation having taken place, and I can believe that it was possible I was successful this time. The other half of my brain, however, shakes her head sadly because she knows I've fooled myself in the past and she already anticipates the crushing despair and deep disappointment when AF will eventually arrive.

Cthulhoo, I know exactly what you mean. I keep telling myself over and over again that it's just AF arriving early so I don't get my hopes up. Have zero other symptoms and I'm sure our timing was all wrong this month so trying to keep grounded & realistic.

Thanks Stark and Kat, I'm not 100% gone, it's just difficult to keep up with it all. I'm sure I'll still notice if you shout at me

I've just bitten the bullet and made a Drs appt. earliest they could see me is the 8th..glad I don't have a limb hanging off! Thought probably worth checking that these interminable cycles aren't indicative of anything weird and see if there's anything that can be done to bring them up to more than once every three months. I want more bfp chances, dammit!

planeteer well done. i have a phone appointment on 3rd Feb (which i made over a week ago). hoping they will give the go ahead for some d2-5 bloods when i eventually have AF so that i can do the same and just check it's normal post-pill lazy pituitary and not pcos.

very tempted to go private and see a gynaecologist (though would be a colleague which is always tricky) and get some clomiphene to get ovulation going again. might investigate costs.

Also is ever on here? Hope you got on okay at the doctors

You know when you think you just know? I have similar af pains cthul and kat I'm convinced she's going to be there soon but it's still either 3/4/6 days before af depending on who you ask.

Anyway, I've had a baby bomb dropped today by my cousin! So there are 3 of us all cousins, one is due in the next week and the other has just announced she's 14 weeks gone! We're all very similar age I'm the only one not married. Boo so it would be weird but amazing if I fell pregnant soon, too. The age gaps would be almost identical!
