(If you put a rung or something small, penny, paper clip etc next to a test then it helps the camera to focus and you get a clearer picture.)

choc sorry not sorry Grin

I can also heartily recommend 'elderly Korean lady' thread who h is in classics. www.mumsnet.com/Talk/mumsnet_classics/2154580-There-is-a-tiny-elderly-Korean-lady-in-my-garden-and-I-want-to-go-out

Sad Now I am worried
Some of you might recall I went to see GP as some dtd positions hurt as fuck wait then are they supposed to hurt? And to my dismay she took samples and poked around when I had not waxed. So I called for results and Blood and Genitalia could we be more specific are clear. But they said to call on Wednesday as they were testing me for Chlamydia however you spell that And now I am mega worried because I have never thought I had that and if I do it is defo not from my current partner or my exes before him (as we always used condoms) so if I do have it it will be from that son of a b#€# of and ex boyfriend I had 8 years ago. If this is the case and I had it for 8 years, Dr Google tells me it would have left me infertile.
So I am FREAKING OUT right now.
I have to wait to Wednesday to find out. I feel sick Sad
And then if this is negative (everything crossed) she said they would do a scanner to see what is wrong Sad
And I want them to say that nothing is wrong and it is normal that it would hurt in some positions but apparently it is not Sad

leoniethelioness · 25/01/2016 18:37

Ahhh, thinking of you Evergreen

Hoping to see some more of you on the grads thread soon

You're not out until you're out - I was convinced AF was on her way (even wore a pad, just in case!!!) and then got a BFP!

Kathrino · 25/01/2016 18:40

Oh Evergreen, what a shock and how awful to have to wait until Weds for news. Keeping everything crossed (and then some) that everything turns out to be normal Thanks

Holly300 · 25/01/2016 18:41

Evergreen, I know it isn't easy but please try not to worry. They are just doing the test to eliminate it as a cause. I'm sure there is nothing to worry about. Fx for you xx

StarkyTheDirewolf · 25/01/2016 18:46

ever don't Google, easier said than done I know, they will be doing it to rule it out, it's a tick list of things they go through to eliminate. Try not to worry, will be thinking of you with my fingers crossed my lovely Flowers

Starky that thread is pure Gold It is distracting me from my awful worry

Planeteer · 25/01/2016 18:47

Keeping everything crossed for you ever. Can you try and switch your brain off tonight? Nice meal and a good book? Will be thinking of you on weds Thanks

KatOnATinRo0f · 25/01/2016 18:49

I would just like to say that I have not read the thread since yesterday afternoon/evening so if there are any random comments from me it's Prob me commenting on something a hundred posts back..... Hope everyone has had a good day :)

Evergreen15 · 25/01/2016 18:49

Thank you ladies Sad
What would I do without your support? Thanks

Holly300 · 25/01/2016 19:07

Totally laughing out loud reading the fatball thread! Hilarious!

firstgo1984 · 25/01/2016 19:18

Random question. How long after dtd do you all think you can assess CM again. how quickly does it all come out? I dtd last night and I think I might have the start of ewcm tonight. Negative opk though. Cd32. Bored of this cycle!

IrregularCommentary · 25/01/2016 19:20

Oh, Ever, that must be so stressful Flowers

I echo what Starky said though. They will have a list of stuff they have to do and test for (stuff with very quick and easy tests generally) first just to eliminate. It doesn't mean that they think you have Chlamydia or that you're likely to have it, it's just an easy test.

Don't forget as well, it may be symptomless for women, but if you had it you'd almost certainly have passed it onto another partner and men get pretty obvious symptoms so you'd have found out by now xx

iPatches · 25/01/2016 19:21

May I join?

Been reading this for a while.
Cycle #2 TTC although the first cycle was a rather naive effort with no idea about the whole ovulation whatsitsface.

So it's Cycle #2. AF isn't due for another 6 days. Not sure whether I love or hate Ovia yet.

Anyway, hello :)

stardusty5 · 25/01/2016 19:24

Hello all

I'm TTC 1, cycle 2

Not sure exactly when ov was but my best guess is that i'm 9dpo.

Had spotting last week which i thoughy t was early AF but nothing since Friday. Also getting ewcm today.

Evergreen15 · 25/01/2016 19:25

Thanks irregular Sad and planeter starky holly kathrino and the rest.
And now that I think about it they did test me a couple of years ago when I had vaginitis some bacteria in foo and gave me antibiotics. Surely they would have tested for Chlamydia back then as I went to sex clinic and I said my foo was hurting/ itchy and they said the vaginitis thing Blush
I hope so Sad
I will watch the Tudors and drink my non alcoholic wheat beer Thanks

Holly300 · 25/01/2016 19:28

Welcome ipatch and stardust Thanks

stardusty5 · 25/01/2016 19:30

Firstgo, i found that difficult too. I waited at least a day to trust what was what again!

iPatches · 25/01/2016 19:31

Thanks Holly
Just realised my first post makes me sound daft. Clearly I realised that I do ovulate, just never thought about how I would know that I did. But now I know the science joy of OPKs and EWCM so I'm pretty sure I did O this month!

LaraG13 · 25/01/2016 19:33

ever, although it can be symptomless for months or years, my understanding is that it's rare to have it that many years without you or any partners showing symptoms. It's unlikely you have it - they're ruling it out. But on top of that, only about 15% of women with untreated chylamidia go on to get pelvic inflammatory disease. And of those with PID only 10% go on to have fertility issues. So we are talking a very very small chance of the worse case scenario that you're imagining being true. I totally understand your worry but I think it's highly unlikely so try to reassure yourself if you can 💐
