So I'm on 2dpo and obviously 3 days in on the tww! Is there anyone the same that wants to be my tww buddy and compare notes? A little bit of back ground info on ttc... My OH and I haven't used contraception for two years now! However we haven't been officially 'trying'! There have been months where we haven't even BD around ovulation etc so technically this is our first month "Officially" ttc! I'm pretty sure I ovulated Thursday but we BD Tuesday evening, Wednesday morning & Evening, Thursday Morning & Evening & last night lol! Grin Today my CM has gone straight back to CWCM and that's it thus far! Any advice on getting through the tww, helping implantation? etc etc?

Brenna, he doesn't like you to drive in the tww? That's crazy! Drink til it's pink is common. Does he know what they emotional impact of his behaviour is having on you? Also, is he normally this controlling?

Brenna24 · 17/01/2016 22:35

He isn't normally, generally he is the opposite and is happy to see me bouncing around having fun. We had a miscarriage at 11.5 weeks in October. I am guessing that his way of coping is to try and think of every way of minimising it happening again. Which I would be all for if there was anything that would make a difference. Last time I didn't drink, had no caffeine, was doing lots of exercise, rested lots when tired right through the first trimester. We did fly to Italy for our (second) wedding which was exhausting and that was where I had the first bleed (after our first time dtd since getting pregnant). I mentioned I didn't want to fly anywhere in early pregnancy, so didn't want to plan any holidays for this year. He seems to have taken that as carte blanche for going overboard on other potential precautions. Going overboard on things in general he has form for.

Oh @Brenna24 I'm so sorry to hear about your situation. Even when our loved ones have our best in mind they can still be frustrating. Would it been for for you and maybe him to speak to a medical practitioner someone like a practice nurse?

There is so much competing information out there it can get baffling.

bobcat85 · 18/01/2016 18:46

That's ok Shemozzle, I wasn't too hopefully this month anyway.

Brenna24 · 19/01/2016 18:46

We had a chat. He has accepted that the stress would be worse and is being more sensible. He reckons next time he is a twonk I should just ignore him. I want that in writing.

14 dpo. No spotting since first thing yesterday. No AF. A few cramps. No idea which way it is going to go this month.

KentCat · 20/01/2016 02:27

Glad you've been able to talk. Just shows how crazy this whole TTC can send both us and our other halves.

I'm a week away from AF but don't think it's going to be my month. I haven't had any signs and well I just don't feel it.

Shemozzle · 20/01/2016 11:06

Gosh brenna I missed your first post on this. Sounds like you've hS a really rough time of it with this issue. So glad it sounds like he has seen sense. The stress it puts on you is much more likely to ruin chances of conception than actually doing those everyday things. I hope he's realised and sorts himself out after your talk. You need to nip this in the bud before he does the same with pregnancy. When are you testing again?

I'm about 10dpo, I know I said I would t test early this time because the chemical was upsetting last month, but I decided I'd rather know about a chemical than not after all, as it effects my symptoms and cycle tracking. So I tested yesterday and thought I might have got the faintest of faint lines but it was only half a line, so possibly a dye run. Will do another in a bit. Just drank about a pint of tea a couple of hours ago so don't think it will be reliable!

Anyone else testing today or in the next few days?

Brenna24 · 20/01/2016 18:56

Ooh, exciting. I would wait until morning to do another test. Your urine will be more concentrated and you are more likely to see something. I am going to test some time in the next few days. 15 dpo and BFN this morning. AF is due between today and friday. No sign so far.

Shemozzle · 21/01/2016 12:38

Bfns yesterday (did one late morning and one evening). Not to bothered about testing today. May do one in a bit. Using FMU is pointless for me, since I get up to pee at least 3 times in the night, sometimes more! It's about every 4 hours plus an hour after I've first got into bed. And so wee is actually clearest for me first thing. I've been that way since pregnant with dd2 Sad

Shemozzle · 21/01/2016 20:21

Bfn again today, I am only 9- 10dpo today though, although I had mild cramps yesterday and day before. Ovia is putting me a day ahead of that though. Does anyone else shine bright lights on their bfns for ages wondering why a line doesn't magically appear? Haha.

Brenna24 · 22/01/2016 22:26

BFN for me, then The Witch got me. I'm out for this month.

KentCat · 23/01/2016 04:48

Sorry to those getting the BFN. I'm due to test next week. Having said I was getting no signs the last few days I've had twinges of cramps. But then I'm also in India so that could just be adjusting to the food etc. We'll see what next week brings.

Shemozzle · 25/01/2016 23:32

I'm out too Sad. Good luck to everyone still waiting x
