All I can say is that I know I've reacted what could be classed as weirdly in the past because obviously I was dealing with my own issues. But it's no excuse to at least try to act happy. Although at times I've been devastated hearing about people's news I've always tried to be happy for them too. But like trying said, maybe she is just a bitch..!

As you all know I've been so open with everyone with my story - so if I get any dodgy responses when it is my time I think I'll swing a punch Wink
We're absolutely thrilled for you drttc, so revel in your pregnant glow and enjoy it. You've definitely been through the mill to get here!

Tryingno1 · 08/02/2016 20:36

Hula2 · 08/02/2016 20:43

Hi Ladies,

Sorry been awol, have been keeping up but so busy with work and getting ready for skiing (tomorrow - yay !) haven t had any time to comment.

Drttc - how fantastic your 12 wk scan was all great and that you ve been able to share the news (even if not all responses were as expected). You re well on the way now.

Seeking - here s hoping a bfp saves you from the tests but if not then at least you ll be checking that there s nothing holding things up. I had a hycosy before ds and didn t find it any worse than a smear test so hopefully it won t be too bad.

Trying - yay you ve started !! Must be such a relief to feel you can finally get on with things and with a dildocam everyday they ll be no doubt you ll be getting the most tailormade protocol possible !!

Tumtimes - everycrossed for a great scan tonight.

Waves to everyone else.

You ladies are so right. I need to remember that I can never put myself in someone else's shoes as they may be doing the best they can. And having you guys had got me through so much- so lucky to know you all x

Hey Hula! Have fun skiing !!

Seekingmiracles · 09/02/2016 07:34

Morning ladies,
I think I may possibly have a squinter on a cheapie test. Stupidly threw my pee away!
Now going to have to wait until tomorrow to crack out the frer...

Tryingno1 · 09/02/2016 07:37

Aghhhhhh!!!!!!!!! Keep us posted!!

Tryingno1 · 09/02/2016 07:38

Fingers crossed, ur used to bfn now so I reckon a line is a positive :)

Drttc · 09/02/2016 07:56

Omg!!!! Yes!!!!!!! No symptoms was the way forward :)

Seekingmiracles · 09/02/2016 08:02

But it could just be my eyes!! Or an evap. Can't even ask dh his opinion as he'd think I'm crazy! On initial inspection I thought it was def blank, so told him it's another bfn. Now do I take my pred today just in case it will a day off it be ok??

Drttc · 09/02/2016 08:05

I say take the Pred- though it really wouldn't matter. I didn't take it for two days when I thought I had a bfn!

Tryingno1 · 09/02/2016 08:33

Take the pred!

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 09/02/2016 09:47

seeking post a picture!!!!

drttc don't worry about negative responses, as other people have said the important thing is that you and little dr are doing well.

hula enjoy your holiday. I can't ski or ice skate to save my life so I'm jealous of anyone who can and I love snow haha

DH finally has some dates booked for a course that will get him off of response team. I might actually see my husband regularly! Smile

Seekingmiracles · 09/02/2016 09:57

It def doesn't show on a pic! Lol!! That's how much of a squinter it is! It'll prob be a bfn tomorrow!

Tumtimes1 · 09/02/2016 10:51

drttc I think that's very strange behaviour of your sis in law.... Just smacks of immaturity to me and is a shame. I hate it when people take the wind out of your sails, it totally sucks. It's such a drainer. Oh well it is what it is I guess. It's brilliant news and you should revel in it!

seeking I've got my fingers crossed for you! Do your a first response?
Thanks everyone else for your well wishes.

So, the scan went well as far as heart beat was seen and the baby has grown to 9.6mm. I am measuring bang on for my dates. However the sonographer goes ' did you know you've got a bicornuate uterus? I was like wtf? That's never ever been stated to me and I've had about a million scans. She got her colleague and she also thought the same. I was stunned and asked if there was any further danger for me (on top of my list) and she said 'generally no.' Oh ffs I have now been googling and its worried me further.

I also just don't believe this is the case, this condition people are born with and this has never ever been spotted before so I just think my womb is a weird shape, which can happen if the baby implants over to one side which this one has. I had a hysteroscopy and laparoscopy in October and again this was never mentioned so I am loathe to believe this the case.
Secondly the 'massive' hemoraganic corpus luteam cyst on my right ovary spotted just last week was no where to be seen. The whole thing has baffled me but I guess the main thing of course is the baby is still alive which is great.

I have an appointment with my consultant Friday and will be asking thousands of questions then to get some answers.

Drttc · 09/02/2016 11:47

Tumtimes- firstly, congratulations on a positive scan!! Another step closer :) Secondly, oh dear I know what it's like to be worried sick by people over scans- then having a problem suddenly 'disappear'. It's great to have the good news but it worries you sick during the lead up! It sounds like that bicornuate uterus diagnosis may be a mistake. As you said- how could soooo many people miss it? Hope you feel better now as a good is always at least little bit reassuring. Just a few weeks ago I was in your position and really felt absolutely miserable. Wishing you a speedy and healthy first trimester!

Oh Seeking we really really hope this is it! I wish I knew of some TTC trick to get results tonight but I can't think of anything argh!

LALaker · 09/02/2016 13:13

Hi there, sorry to hear of all the struggles and lovely to hear the good news. Just wanted to offer a couple of suggestions. For those taking clexane/heparin injections if you ice the area using an ice cube and tea towel (to catch the drips) for 5 mins before and a min or two after you shouldnt get the serious bruises.

Also if you have high TNF alpha and dont want to go down the humira route it might be worth taking: high dose omega 3 (3 capsules per day) not the small capsules, together with reservratrol (and if you too, N-Acetyl Cysteine for good meaure) for several months as this can bring down inflammation - worth a google. It is a much much cheaper option than the humira. Hope this helps xxxx

billy15 · 09/02/2016 13:29

Oooh seeking really hope is a bfp tomorrow!

Lots of exciting news on here atm! Good luck all!

tumtimes it does sound like a mistake to me. surely it wouldve been picked up on before. Try not to worry -its the last thing you wanna hear but great news about the baby!!

drttd glad youve started to tell people and hopefully you can start to enjoy the news and your pregnancy!

trying good luck with it all. Thinking of you.

My cycle seems to be behaving itself so far! Just waiting for the results of my hormone tests.

Hugs to all xx

Drttc · 09/02/2016 13:33

LAlaker thanks for the info! I'd never heard about high dose omega 3 & NAC for tnf- though I do take NAC and regular omega 3! Good to know!

Billy- thanks! Glad to hear your cycle is looking good. Good luck with your test results x

Tryingno1 · 09/02/2016 23:26

Seeking good luck with ur frer tmrw!!!!'

Seekingmiracles · 10/02/2016 08:11

Well it looks like I'm stepping off the merry go round onto the roller coaster. The frer was a bfp! A faint one but a definite one. Now a new kind of worry begins Confused

Seekingmiracles · 10/02/2016 08:32

Thanks Trying & Billy.
I feel surprisingly calm. I suppose I know that I'm doing everything I can. I've got as much control over it as I'm ever going to. Just have to hope that this time will work out.

Tryingno1 · 10/02/2016 08:47

Great attitude!! Being calm can only help and there isn't anything u can do except follow the plan :)
Yay!!!

Drttc · 10/02/2016 08:57

YES YES YES!!! SO happy for you Seeking!!! Did you take the steroids in the end? Maybe book yourself in for an acupuncture session to keep things peaceful. So exciting :)
