Hello ladies!! I am the ClearBlueFairy, and I have been sent to watch over all you wonderful, gorgeous ladies!!
When you feel the urge to test before AF is due, count to ten and step away from the ClearBlue !! Have a warm cuppa and daydream about Sawyer from Lost (or someone you find attractive!) and take your mind off it!! Or why not come on to MN and I will sprinkle you with some common sense dust

A very wise woman once wrote - "Remember ladies that the percentages of those who get their BFPs on set dpo are as follows:
10dpo=35%/11dpo=51%/12dpo=62%/13dpo=68%/14dpo=74%/15dpo=80%/16dpo=88%/17dpo=92% and there are some who have not got their BFP until 21dpo!!"
Armed with those percentages you should never want to test early and risk all that (perhaps)unnecessary disappointment!

I can't stand to see all those understandably downtrodden women after that dreaded BFN... and some of those wonderful ladies will go on to get their BFP and needn't have put themselves through all that angst and worry!!

Come on now, it's the festive time... save your money... When the FirstResponseDevil is calling out your name... Just say NO!!!

Fingers crossed for lots of BFPs really soon for you all!!!! But remember, The ClearBlueFairy is always watching * * * * * * * * * * * *

No chance of me being tempted to test - DH keeps forgetting to get one! I very much doubt I am, 2 BFNs already.

Quootiepie · 19/12/2006 16:42

BFN again, my period just seems to have gone missing

rahrah1 · 19/12/2006 16:44

Are you normally regular Quootiepie?

Quootiepie · 19/12/2006 16:45

yep

babylove123 · 19/12/2006 17:52

hey Quootie, we're missing period pals eh?!

RudolphsREADY · 19/12/2006 18:09

Quootie, could it be the breastfeeding that is throwing your cycle out of whack? Or perhaps the stress and depression? Those factors can have a massive bearing on your ovulation. Hang in there! Fingers crossed for you.

RudolphsREADY · 19/12/2006 18:12

Mia84 - Hang in there, and wait for as long as you can before you test!! The longer you leave it, the more chance you have of getting an accurate response!! Fingers crossed for you.
You are right, the clearbluefairy does have excellent taste... she's soooo cool

Quootiepie · 20/12/2006 02:44

I had tummy cramps for over a week... maybe what I thought was pre-pregnancy, or pre-period is my ovulation, so im a few weeks behind. Must be BFing/stress xXx

smellymelly · 20/12/2006 07:08

Quootiepie - sorry if this is over the line here, but is now a really good time for you to be trying for another? Surely getting 'yourself' back on track is more important at the moment...

merrylissiemas · 20/12/2006 07:36

all the usual suspects are still here. got a bfp with ds at 3 weeks so finding it harder and harder to resist

Quootiepie · 20/12/2006 07:39

not actively TTC hun... AF just late, and theres always a part of me that doesn't like a BFN if you see what I mean xxx

babylove123 · 20/12/2006 17:43

Quootie, same here. even when we werent ttc, and i thought i was pg, i was disappointed.

mum03 · 22/12/2006 15:43

OK ClearBlueFairy - please help me.... I am only one day late, tested this morning - shame on me... bfn ofcourse. Now I need all the stregth not to test again tomorrow. I used an old cheap test this morning, but then I went and bought one of your tests! Now I did not get a bfp with my ds until I was 3 days late, so help me please, as I have so so so many pg symptoms I am driving myself crazy. Help me to resist testing til Christmas day please?!

Quootiepie · 22/12/2006 15:46

Quootiepie · 22/12/2006 15:46

RudolphsREADY · 23/12/2006 23:58

PS. It seems it's not only the FirstResponseDevil that you need to be weary of... there is a clearbluedevil doing the rounds... do not listen to her... she's just after your money and the fame!!
