Geek - how embarrassed am I? talk about teaching your Granny to suck eggs! so sorry. Does that mean though that you can solve my problem? I am trying to move my software to another computer without losing my past cycles, how can I move them?

Temp dropped by .3 this morning

yes i have news!

cant quite believe it but my levels more than doubled, so APPARENTLY thats a really good sign and there is still an ickle baby growing inside me! i am being scanned on monday cos i am still bleeding and passing clots. i am confused really, cos all this bleeding is telling me there must be something wrong, but then my blood test results are exactly what they should be. now i feel a bit in limbo till monday when maybe i will get some answers about the bleeding.

anyway! i really cant moan cos i got the best result possible today so i am over the moon! i just dont want to get too excited until ive had the scan too!

i hope i am not being too much of a drama queen for you all.........sorry!

thanks for thinking of me, its lovely to know people that dont even know me care!

BBWBabeLisa · 31/01/2007 20:46

Oh I'm so relieved for you greedy. I remember so well the first couple of months of my pg with my DD. Every time I went to the loo I was convinced there'd be blood, I lived on my nerves, even after I saw the flickering heartbeat at a 6 week scan (early scan due to being diabetic).

Roll on Monday and more good news.

3cats - I reckon giving your DH the night off is a good idea! DH was a bit grumpy after our early morning action. Asked him about it when he got home from work and he said he was just a wee bit sore. Got the pre-seed ready for tonight as temp still not up, still got ferns on ovatel.

You've got more patience than me MrsMc, I told the world the day I got my +ive hpt. Can't keep a secret to save my life.

I've got cramping feeling now. Wonder if it's ov happening? Or maybe it's just a dodgy penne sciciliana - had lovely lunch with my MN mate in town after NCT coffee morning. Oooh DH better not be too sore tonight!

Oh, excellent!

MrsMcJnr · 01/02/2007 09:15

Greedy - posted for you on the Graduate thread but its defo worth saying again how delighted I am That Beanie is SO meant to be - are you going to call it Rambo?!

Software told me today that it can confirm my home pregnancy test due to my extended LP. That made me feel happy I decided to temp the last 2 days to get to 18dpo.

I am going to visit my little Sis next weekend. I've not seen her since Sept. I would really like to tell her, mostly because we'll be face to face and that's much nicer but also because she'll suss me immediatley if I am not drinking and it's harder to con one person, also, if things did go wrong, I would tell her anyway, that said, she is footlose and fancy free and I am sure, like me before all this began, thinks getting pregnant and staying that way is easy. What do you think? I'll need to persuade DH, he is up for not telling anyone until 2nd trimester.

How are you all today? thinking of selling my saliva scope (once very well disinfected) and I also have a home sperm testing kit. Might keep the books for now but I'll chuck in the 2 pre-seeds I have if anyone's interested. Let me know and I'll come up with very good price

Cityangel - if you have 2 more high temps, your software is going to predict that you might be pregnant. The not knowing must be driving you insane, how are you feeling? you might be one of the 12% whose BFP doesn't show until after 16dpo. Fingers crossed for you hon.

How are you all? Lottie, you ok? Natty, how about you? feeling better 3Cats? hope you are busy BBW!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo! i am going to look at cityangels chart then! that sound exciting!

mrs! you might want all that stuff again for NEXT time you ttc! why sell it?

lottie, sorry you are feeling down. that was pretty bad timing on your mums part and i think how you feel is perfectly understandable. if ttc is taking a backseat then that is GREAT! it means you wont get stressed about it and are more likely to fall pg........isn't that what always seems to happens with people? lets hope so anyway!

cityangel - i can really sympathise with your long cycle you are having. lets hope its just a one off for you. its so annoying having so long to wait until your next fertile time isn't it, and i know what you mean about how it feels like a waste of time. hopefully you will get your bfp anyway and wont have to worry about your cycle anymore.

BBW - having fun with dh?

3cats - how are you? have you given dh enough of a break? is he raring to go now? whats it like not temping?

hello everyone else!

cityangel · 01/02/2007 12:58

Thanks greedy and londonlottie for your kind words. Yes it is v irritating being so long. I wasted a considerable part of my life (or more accurately 20 mins) trying to get the damn software to agree with the CBFM but it wasn't having any of it!

Hey ho am off to the accupunturist this afternoon. Will try and be less sceptical than last time

Poor LondonL what a tough time you are having. The difficulty is you not getting things in the past you can't change. So maybe try and go along with your Mum's plans making the best of it and make some fun future plans for you like a holiday, new skill, catching up with old friends etc.

You could try and ignore what other people do and say and let them get on with it while you focus on how to make you and dp happier.

Greedy I won?t be using the saliva scope as it didn?t seem to work for me like it does for the others, nor will we be using the sperm test, I couldn?t persuade DH this time, doubt I?ve got any hope for the future plus I?ll need plenty more pre-seed than 2 sachets. Keeping some of my books though (I have 4! ) Plus we are being really strict about possessions because of our move abroad

I?m so sorry to hear that Lottie. I thought you might be a bit down. Always here to listen you know. What happened to you last year was awful but if you really have made peace with DP and believe in him, that shouldn?t be an obstacle for you. Your Mum has to understand how you feel, I am surprised that she is even making a fuss. Spain will make everything better, I promise, it always does for me. As soon as I touch down on the tarmac, I sigh with relief.

Hi guys,

I'm so pleased about your test results Greedy.

DH has had a good break. I suddenly have loads of CM today (sorry if TMI) and definately lube, even though it's earlier than normal. So I think we might have to go for it between now and just past the weekend.

The not temping thing is weird. I have enjoyed not having to reach for the bedsise table before I get up and not having to think so early in the morning. But I'm not sure if it will be obvious that I have Ov'd. My temp rise doesn't normally coincide exactly with EWCM.
Part of me wishes I had temped.I'm using the opks and will use them until I get a +ve followed by 2 -ves just to make sure.

Greedy and Mrs - it's nice that you are still on the thread, it's nice to hear how you sre doing and to catch up.

Sorry you are feeling down LL.It doesn't sound like an easy situation.

Cityangel - I must look at your chart- sounds exciting.

BBW - have you Ov'd yet? How's it going/

Natty - How are you?

Where's Geek gone?

BBWBabeLisa · 01/02/2007 18:50

Evening all. Another busy day here. Toddler group this morning then hit the shops in Camberley this afternoon with my MN mate (hmm I guess she's more a RL mate than a MN mate now!). First time in Primark, am hooked! Who knew you could get stuff so cheaply??

MrsMc - How does the sperm testing thingy work? I may be interested, will see what DH says.

Not sure if I've ov'd yet or not, DD woke me at 6.40 this morning so temped then instead of my usual 8am and it was 36.39 (SW setting coverline at 36.36 I think). SW has adjusted this morning's temp so it looks quite high. Will see if I'm still high tomorrow. Been no more BD'ing since yesterday's early morning, but DH reckons he's up for some tonight.

3cats - sounds like a fun weekend ahead!

BBWBabeLisa · 01/02/2007 21:21

Wow. Huge news. DH and I have just had a long heart to heart about TTC (initiated by discussion about sperm test kit - and effects of DHs lifestyle on sperm quality!), and we've agreed that we both need to get into better physical shape. I need to lose a great deal of weight, get my cholesterol down, and could probably use some happy pills, and he needs to improve his overall fitness/weight and cut back on the booze. We've decided that if I'm not pregnant this cycle we're going to put it on hold til he gets back from the sandy place, as I can't take the drugs I need for my cholesterol etc while TTC. I reckon the chances of conceiving will be better if I can get it down, lose a few stone etc (I'm currently about 11-12 stone overweight - as I was when I fell pg with DD, but the pregnancy & post-cs period were pretty hellish because of it). Losing weight would also bring my diabetes into better control, which would be better for me and any potential pg too.

So....if this cycle doesn't do it, it'll be November at the earliest before we resume TTC. Gonna go see my GP on CD1 of next cycle to get the ball rolling.

Well, I think it's fairly safe to assume I ov'd on Wednesday. High temps 2 days running now, and no CM since then either. Wednesday was the day we had the early morning BD, so ya never know...
Just looking at my chart and it looks fairly textbook I think, dunno if those more experienced would agree? Was concerned that I might not be ov'ing at all, but looking at the chart, EWCM for several days, immediately followed by temp rising and CM drying up, all good signs yes?

Lottie, wow, well done on dropping 3.5! It's not easy. I did it years ago, managed to get down from 18st10 to 15st, but coz I was going to the gym regularly too it was more significant in size terms than weight, as I went from a 30 down to a 20. Problem was, as soon as I fitted into my size 20 jeans I was happy, had no desire to lose more, and started slipping and piling it back on again. Now back in a 30 again. Lost almost 4st in the last year since DDs birth due to gall stones, but having had the gall bladder out in the summer it's climbing up again and have already regained a stone of it.

Natty & Geek, you're being awfully quiet, you still with us?

Natty1806 · 02/02/2007 12:25

Yeah i am still floating around, not been doing my temp though.

MrsMcJnr · 02/02/2007 13:56

BBW - I hope you do get your BFP but if not, it sounds like you and DH have had a really positive discussion about the way forward . I'll look at the sperm test and let you know how it works, I didn't even get that far as Dh refused point blank to consider it.

Lottie - I'm very impressed by that weight loss! I am 1 1/2 st over where I feel I should be and now that I am pregnant, I know there is not much I can do about that (didn't realise that the baby couldn't live off what's there already!!) funnily enough, I have lost 3 pounds since last week as I've not been drinking (obviously!) and I have been alot more cautious about what I am eating. I am going to continue with Scottish Slimmers as my GP says its safe as long as I up my calcium. Maybe I'll be better at it now that my health and that of the baby is my main concern.

3Cats - feeling better?

Hello Natty

Off to chart spot....

Hi MrsMC!! Hope you and Bean are ok have been thinking bout you and hoping you are well.

3catstoo · 02/02/2007 16:29

Well no bd'ing last night. DH got home from work late, ate then went to bed. I think he was asleep before his head hit the pillow!

+ve opk today so hopefully he will get home at a more reasonable time. I will try to get the little ones in bed on time so that we have an evening to relax together.

I am hoping for a productive weekend - fingers crossed.

BBW, that sounds like a good plan to maximise your chances. Still have my fingers crossed for you this month though.

A neighbour of mine was trying to conceive this time last year. After 6 months she decided to lose weight first then try again 6 months later. She lost 2 and 1/2 stone very quickly then carried on dieting. She went on holiday in October and fell pg on their first attempt!
She puts it down to losing weight and eating healthily.

Have a good weekend all.
Will have a chart spot on Monday when I have more time.
