Geek - how embarrassed am I? talk about teaching your Granny to suck eggs! so sorry. Does that mean though that you can solve my problem? I am trying to move my software to another computer without losing my past cycles, how can I move them?

BBW - I hope you get your delayed Ov. That would be really unfortunate if DH was away again during Ov. The day after Ov is still a good time isn't it? I guess it depends on the time of day that Ov happens.

Ready - I agree with your DH about carrying on ttc. Go for it.

I know what u mean lottie. DH has a good moan about me only wanting to BD during my fertile window. Last cycle I sat him down and had a long discussion about the biology of it from my perspective, and how being naturally lubricated at that time of the month makes me feel so much more in the mood for it, so regardless of ttc I'm naturally going to feel more up for it during that time. He forgets that nature kinda intended women to feel more aroused during that fertile window, unlike men who naturally feel aroused regardless of the time of the month. I explained that if he wants me to be in the mood at other times of the month it's just gonna take a bit more work on his part, whereas during my fertile phase he can relax a bit and just let me pounce on him the second he walks thru the door. He seems to get it a bit more now.

That was so well put BBW. I might try saying that to DH. He moans about me only being interested at a certain times. I hadn't thought of telling that that is when I naturally feel more aroused than usual.

I usually get stressed about making the first move when I know I'm Ov'g just because I know he'll say something. Even if he doesn't say anything I still feel stressed, just in case. It's probably why it's not doing the trick iyswim.

I am tempted to stop taking my temp this month and just try to BD every other day at least, around day 15 and 18. Maybe with me not knowing exactly it will lighten the load . I can give it a go for one month/cycle.

Any thoughts?

i thought that last month 3cats! but by the time it had got close to ov ( or so i thought!) i had started taking my temps again just to be sure! i am full of good intentions after the stressful 2ww, but i never stick to any of them.......giving up drinking for example!...i only lasted one night!

BBW! one of my friends used real egg white! she squirted it up with a turkey baster and then her dh got an infection afterwards and had to go to the doctors and explain how he had got it! HOW CRINGEWORTHY! i nearly pissed my pants laughing when she told me! she has twins now btw! but not from using real egg white!

my DH is finally back home where he belongs! i couldn't talk to him for a few hours when he got home cos i was soooooooooo pissed off with him for being away for so long, but we seem to have made up now! he did the whole diamond earings will make you forgive me thing! he has never done that before...and its dangerous, cos now i will expect something similar whenever he goes away!

Greedy - diamonds are almost as good as babies. Only have 5 mins to post but I wanted to say taht I am sorry to hear that some of you are feeling down about things happening in your lives other than TTC. It is just the kind of stress that we don't need. We didn't manage to BD on the day after OV, I was shattered but I think we gave it a good go this cycle so fingers crossed.

Lottie - there is only one asterisk on my chart i just had a look! did you REALLY think we had only had sex once all month and that was me TRYING for a baby! how funny!!! for some reason my chart doesn't show when we BD! i put it in when i enter my data but it doesn't show up for you lot to see! the software obviously is trying to protect my modesty! we BD'D on cd 8, 16,20,21,22,25,26,27,28, and 29........and then dh went away on cd30......and i ov'd on cd34!......do you see why i was pissed off!?......and why he bought me diamond earings!!!???

What's this about mid cycle apotting MrsMc/LL?

I was thinking back to when I found out I was pg with number 2. I didn't know I was pg as I had had a light 2 day period (more than just spotting, it was like a light period for me as I'm usually quite a heavy bleeder). It was only 2 weeks after that I thought it had been a bit strange to only have a 2 day period as opposed to the normal week long ones. Something made me test and I was pg.

Infact I have bled early on with all of mine. After having a m/c first time I had an early scan with number 1 and 2. When I had an early bleed with number 3 they just figured it was how I tend to be and so no scan!
The bleeding with 1 and 3 was different though as I had already tested so it was later than my period was due.

That's probably a load of useless info for you but as I thought about it I thought I would post it.

I'm on my 3rd day of 'spotting' today, still with terrible cramps. No sign of full AF though.

When I know it's on it's way I just wish it would hurry up and stop dragging me out like this. Very tiring! .

MN is very slow today, has anyone else found that?

I didn't bother taking my temp this morning.
I will try really hard to have a month off from temping next cycle. I know it will be hard to resist. I'm already thinking of stocking up on the opks.

LondonLottie ? according to TW, there is still a chance the day after OV because it?s impossible to tell at what time you OVd and the egg might still be viable the day after. Here?s to those BFPs you mentioned! . I?ve never had spotting mid cycle before that?s why I was curious, I wasn?t symptom spotting, honestly but it was hard to miss. Anyway, having done some research, I think it was more likely to be due to a change to the follicle rather than implantation at this stage but I?m taking it as a positive thing anyway

3cats ? I know, the spotting was weird, tiny amount last night and pink CM today. Sorry to be so descriptive but the CM has been much, much thicker than it usually is at this stage in my cycle ? ho hum, we?ll have to see if it means anything at all! Thanks for telling us your experiences, it must have been scary for you each time it happened. Sorry to hear the cramps are bad

lottie - ironically, his trip was planned for the 1st - 4th jan, but i THOUGHT i was due to ov then so he delayed it! how annoyed was i when it turned out that if he hadn't of changed it he would have been here at the right time! sods law hey! guess i shouldn't be too pissed off with him really, he is a sweetie, and he has never ever moaned about ttc or me demanding his services at fertile time etc.

Mornin all. CD8 for me, so nowt happening for a while here.
Had a busy day yesterday, morning spent in A&E with my baby girl after I thought she possibly could have swallowed one of my prescription folic acid pills. Couldn't for the life of me remember if I took it, altho I did remember taking it out of the pack, so I couldn't be sure I hadn't put it down somewhere she could have got at it. Thankfully doc reckoned even if she had taken it chances of any effects were slim, and even if there were any effects they'd be minor.
Greedy - how frustrating! It's almost like you're body tries to outwit you.....like "ahh you think you know me do you...we'll see about that".
MrsMc - good to know about the day after ov. Might be hope for me yet this cycle. How are you feeling today? Sorry to be crude but how's your CM/spotting?
3cats - AF here yet? Are you absolutely sure it's on its way? Is it not possible it could be pg spotting? Especially if, as you say, you usually spot when pg.
Lottie - what would you be going to do in Spain?

BBW, I think 4 days of 'spotting' is unlikely if I was pg, but I don't know for sure. This is the run upito AF that I'm used to. Got the migraine today too.
I'm not feeling quite as down as I was. I am not taking my temp now though and will try not to for the next cycle. See if it calms me down a bit.
AF is due tomorrow. I'm swimming with DD today though so it could be cruel and arrive today!

MrsMc, I really hope your mid cycle spotting is a positive sign. Keep us posted. When could you potentially be testing?

Hi all, CM wet from pink to brown this morning but appears to have stopped completely now in any form - we'll see. I keep telling myself that this spotting is different and that different could be good. AF/BFP due next Fri when I head off for my mates Hen which includes copious amounts of drink and jacuzzis - might have to test before I go!

3cats! i am going to try really hard NOT to temp next month too. BUT i have just bought lots of opks and i WAS going to use them, so does that defeat the objet of not temping a bit? if you dont, i wont!

Hello all Haven't posted much recently because there doesn't seem to be much going on with me, just 2wwing. Yesterday I had a bit of funny coloured CM, kind of orangey, but I told myself it was too early to be implantation - they say 6-10DPO don't they? Really excited about your CM news MrsMcJnr (where else could I say that without sounding like a freak except MN?! ), sounds a bit more impressive than mine, hope it's a good sign, it's blatently your turn for a BFP soon!

My temps have been bouncing around slightly oddly for the past few days, since OV really. Normally my temps are fairly slow moving, and stay high for a few days after OV, but this time they dropped a bit and then zoomed up again. And I feel perfectly healthy at the mo, not been drinking much, so nothing that could explain it! Anyone got any ideas whether this means anything?!
