"Casually" TTC

TTC number 2, we've agreed to go ahead in a "let's just see whAt happens, no pressure" kind of way. so I'm casually charting my cycles with a fertility app, breezily checking my cervical mucous, nonchalantly scouring the conception board and definitely not compiling a list of names for dc2 .
What is so frustrating is that because I'm "casually" charting all of this I know exactly when my fertile window is and keep bloody missing it because I don't want to give the game away and look like baby crazed monster! Last month my carefully timed advances were thwarted by a five-aside groin strain. I think today was the day and was planning a seduction after dd's bedtime but he announced he was off to his brothers for a bank holiday drink.
This is lighthearted and is not a problem with communication in my marriage. I think he felt the pressure last time and I'm really trying to keep this as relaxed as possible (for him) but that's just not my style.

Those rules made me chuckle BigChief!! It is actually how it is. Apart from on here TTC does not get a mention in my day to day life.

I couldn't resist a test this morning - the stabby boob pains were getting ridiculous yesterday! I think I have a bfp!!! Af not due until 9th so still early

Took my last pill in April with the view of waiting 3-6 months to get cycle regular etc before TTC.

However we've since decided to just see what happens. In DP'S words, if it happens now then good but I'm not going to start timing my shags.

He's a little bit innocent though, and doesn't realise that I know exactly when I'm ovulating from --counting-, mittelschmerz, and cm. He also doesn't believe in hormones affecting behaviour (despite my horrendous pmt) so doesn't realise that my libido goes through the roof around ovulation.

I have 2 DC, he has none. Both of mine conceived without trying. We did actually conceive very early in our relationship (the first time we ever DTD, and on day 10 of cycle ) took map 'just in case' which failed, was considering terminating but miscarried anyway at 7 weeks. That was over 3 years ago now though.

This cycle I ovulated day 15, we DTD days 12 and 17 so no chance really, but I'm still symptom spotting . Currently on day 24...

Thanks guys! Welcome dreamy! I would say there's some hope for you this month based on that info! If you dtd on day 12 there's every chance some wee guys stick around until day 15!
I'm so casual I'm waiting until dh gets back from work tonight to tell him! I think I might burst - thank god I've got you guys to share with in the meantime!

Tested this morning and bfn. Still no sign of af though!!

Anyone else due to test??

I just casually ordered 30 internet cheapy tests from amazon, which may not help my attempts to not test til the end of this week... Don't think I have any symptoms over and above the usual PMT, though my usual 'want to burst into tears at the world' that usually happens a week before AF has not yet turned up. Can I count being LESS hormonal than usual as a symptom do you think?

Heeey Congratulations!! I think I will probably be waving Hello to AF earlier than expected. I had set the date as the 10th of June in my head, but I am not sure, getting a bit crampy . For those of you that have only just joined, WELCOME I wasn't sure when AF was due as I had never made any Notes/Reminders last month, but hopefully now I can keep more of a 'casual' track of it! KTKaye, if AF doesnt arrive by weekend, probably Monday? Anyone else?

Thanks guys! I'm still a bit nervous because I've tested a couple of days early - really wasn't expecting anything to show up! This was third cycle lucky for me - I hope being casual brings you all a bfp soon too!

af has arrived lol. and brought my chocoalte craving with it! so it would seem my cycle is only 21 days!!

Its all a bit odd, I am having AF cramps but no AF! I normally get AF cramps (which I can distinguish easily) and then AF arrives like THAT MOMENT, so once I get the cramps, I have to rush to the bathroom as I know whats coming. But not today? Can cramps be an early PG symptom? Its just ever so odd for me. I also remember last time I was PG I had these weird spots that came up on my face, and I have had some spots again on my face over the last week (unusual for me)

Turns out stabby boob pain (technical term) is a good early pregnancy symptom for me then!

this is the longest day ever waiting for dh to get back from work, he got my hopes up earlier saying he might be home by 2.

Alice yes I got period cramps when first pregnant before. Think it's quite normal? To do with implantation or uterus stretching or something...

AF has finally arrived Hello AF!!!!Onwards and upwards, lots of getting ready for the next round of TTC'ing Drinking my Orange and Green infusion, watching 'crap' TV! Relaxing for the next week whilst AF dissapears! How is everyone else doing?
