This is cycle #3 TTC for me. I really hoping this will be my month. Who's with me?

Lots of us getting AF at a similar time so it'll be good to share the next cycle together. I only have 26/27 day cycles so due again July 12th/13th. Good luck to all on the July bus! Who's setting it up? :)

FlatWhiteToGo · 18/06/2015 16:43

Sorry AF has hit so many of you. At least we can ride the July bus together x

Itsme247 · 18/06/2015 17:02

I'm feeling crampy so I think the witch is going to get me too. I am desperately trying to stay positive but when do you think it's reasonable to get DH to get an SA? This will be our tenth cycle... I don't want to point fingers but I had a scan for suspected ovary cysts a year ago and they said everything was fine.. I suppose things can change.

Itsme247 · 18/06/2015 17:15

I've just read that last status back and it sounds really negative.

Ignore me!

At least if it doesn't happen this month I get to spend the next month on the July bus with all you lovely ladies! We WILL get pregnant soon!!

hayleycookie · 18/06/2015 17:47

glam I'm using ovia but second what Ping said about it needing a few months data to get the best use. But I think that goes for any app or even method of tracking.

On a totally unrelated note: does anyone here use baby center forums? I just posted my first post about ttc and got 3 bitchy responses asking how I check my ovulation and one woman said "I don't think you belong here", then a few sarcastic comments about me being a newbie. Feel awful now!

Londonlady2015 · 18/06/2015 22:03

Hayleycookie that sounds horrible. I've only read articles on there rather than interact in forums but quite frankly on such a sensitive subject no-one should make you feel like that.
PS my autocorrect nearly tried to type "pokies" instead of cookies ????

My ovulation is due around 7th July, 10-11 days after af so I'm probably a little behind everyone but it would be good to be in the July gang ????

FlatWhiteToGo · 18/06/2015 22:11

Hayley - that's awful. Ignore them. Probably trolls anyway! You're welcome here!

Itsme - sorry things are a bit crappy. How does DH feel about getting a SA? I don't think it's an unreasonable thing to ask, but obviously needs a bit of sensitivity! Good luck. It'll be nice to have you on the July bus (although obviously I hope you get thrown off!!) x

birchygoo · 18/06/2015 23:32

itsme we are just waiting on dh sa results. I broached it as going to Dr as nothing happening and just getting it registered that we are trying in case we do need any referrals. they then did thyroid day 3 and day 22 tests and chlamydia tests on me. then said they would also need dh sa done. so it was easy as was just part of work up and he seen I was also having lots of tests that wern't very nice either. I think that worked well as was not just one of us who was being investigated.

birchygoo · 18/06/2015 23:33

Hayley no I haven't been on but that's awful! what kinda support forum is that!!! stay here we are all nice and lovely :-)

I don't mind setting up a new bus - any name suggestions?

Itsme247 · 19/06/2015 08:47

Birchy how long did you leave it before docs? We went in October to make sure I had all the right supplements etc (i have folic acid pescribed in a large dose because of history of spina bifida) so I thought we had to wait a year before we go back?

CarrotVan · 19/06/2015 09:46

birchy - how about song lyric inspired?

'The July Bus - Summer heat, sperm and egg meet on, oh, those summer nights'

Will update stats later

birchygoo · 19/06/2015 10:17

itsme I went after 10 months of being of contraception. Although not actively trying for all that. Before you are referred to fertility if under 35 and have not clamydia you have to be trying for a year.
If you are over 35 or had chlamydia in the past you only have to wait 6 months.
My GP started investigations because said by time they are done our year trying will be up. She said they always test chlamydia antibodies as someone may have had it without knowing. And if you have any of those you get a referral straight away no faffing around as they increase chances of tube damage. I felt very lucky not to have those but then if it is due to that there is stuff that can be done - compared to unknown reasons

carrot love love love the name!! Do you want to start it or will I do it over the weekend?

Rachelc82 · 19/06/2015 11:04

Love the name carrot... Hope the summer nights help us all get our BFP. Everyone gets randier in the summer right ??

CarrotVan · 19/06/2015 12:58

Are we starting July now or hanging out here until the end of the month?

birchygoo · 19/06/2015 14:15

I would prefer a July now as then I'm looking forward and not thinking about the month I lost. I'm the sort of person draws line under it and look forward so find it hard reading a June bus when nothing is going to happen in June for me (totally selfish I know - hanging head in shame Blush )

if others want to hang on here I will stay for the ride until July of course as don't want lose my buddies!

CarrotVan · 19/06/2015 14:54

I'll start it and hang about on both.

CarrotVan · 19/06/2015 14:58

Done birchy go forth and release your Pink Lady (oo-er)

PallasCat · 19/06/2015 16:43

Thanks Carrot and Birchy! I'm on the cusp of June/July...will seek out the new bus x

MyNameIsSuz · 19/06/2015 17:33

Me too! When are you testing pallas? I'm due to test on the 29th.

PallasCat · 19/06/2015 17:40

Suz theoretically due to test 27th (at least that's when AF due)... my cycle is not spectacularly regular though, which adds a level of doubt I could definitely live without! May test early if I get a chance to pick up a frer this weekend. Sticking around here for now.
x

louwn · 19/06/2015 18:01

I need to hang about here til almost end of month as my period is due a week tomorrow! Knackered and starving today - last month I'd have taken that as a 'sign' but this month I just think I need more sleep!! In non- TTC news I got a promotion at work yesterday, which has taken my mind off TTC during the 2WW!

Indomitable · 19/06/2015 18:11

Congratulations Iouwn, and fingers crossed for your TWW!

MyNameIsSuz · 19/06/2015 18:12

Ahh me too pallas, I've always had a steady 28 day cycle but since my erpc back in March it has been 25 days which is what I'd counted to the 29th. However, I'm feeling a lot more normal this month - last couple of months I've had a billion symptoms over ovulation, this time not so much - so I'm wondering if my cycle has gone back to normal too.

Congratulations louwn, that's great news! I'm feeling knackered and hungry too and also trying hard not to think they're symptoms!

CarrotVan · 19/06/2015 18:27

Congratulations louwn

louwn · 19/06/2015 18:33

Thanks all. Massive relief to find out (have known yesterday was the day for quite a while!). Suz we can ignore symptoms together!
