I'm on CD10, ttc#2. Cycle -1 since the official start of ttc is next month! But I'm still driving myself crackers imagining symptoms.

In the fertile window myself now, expecting to ovulate on Friday and expecting a positive ovulation test tomorrow. Managed to dtd yesterday and hoping to do it every day until the weekend.

Fingers crossed this bus passes on the good luck to us back seat passengers

So IRL this would be totally inappropriate to ask a bus full of people I've just ''met''.....BUT....

I've just had a bunch of yellow goop when I wiped.... I'm not due to OV for another 3 days... could it be a sign of implanting this soon?? My normal CM is EW but not ntil the day before, or of, OV...and it's never yellow VOM. Also had really sensitive boobies which I do get but not until AF is due.... any ideas??

Hi Hayleycookie, it won't be anything to do with implanting if you've not yet ovulated but could be something to do with ovulating. I had a little bleed last month the day before I got my positive opk so maybe it's your body telling you it's about to ovulate? Good luck on you TTC journey

Hi everyone, can I ask for some advice please? As TTC#1 cycle#1 I'm totally clueless!

I'm cd 19 and I think 7dpo. Based on ovulation calculator for my usual cycle this would be about right, and I had what I'm pretty sure were ov cramps 7 days ago. That said, my cycle is fairly irregular since coming off the pill last November and can be from 29 to 35 days, so it's guesswork.
As of today I've been feeling slightly dizzy, slightly woozy, slightly nauseous. TBH if I wasn't TTC I wouldn't have thought anything of it.

I'm meeting up with a lot of old friends this weekend, so under normal circumstances it's likely to get boozy, which is why I'm now wondering about testing. I was planning not to test unless AF was late, but...
Is there any point testing before the weekend? If I did it Friday or Saturday I'd be cd 21/22 and (possibly) 9/10 dpo.
Would this be too early to show a positive?

Hmm... it couldn't hurt to do a first response, you might get a result, but if you don't do you think that might give you false confidence and lead you to drink more than you otherwise might? If it was me (and it has been) I'd do the test and drink if it was negative.

It's very early to ovulate on cd12 of 29-35 day cycles but not impossible. I only have 26-27 day cycle and don't ovulate till cd14 or 15. Did you use any opks or temp to confirm ovulation? If you certain of ovulation then it could be possible to show a positive hpt on 9-10dpo but with you being quite a while off of AF I'm not sure if it would show.

I'd say go out and enjoy yourself as 9 months is a long time sober!

Thanks Princes and Suz. No I'm not temping or doing opks, just using a calendar and as I said based on cramps on day 12. Cycle is usually 29 or thereabouts - last cycle (before we started trying) was 35 but that was out of the ordinary for me.
Since we're TTC I wasn't planning on going wild at the weekend but yeah Suz thank you that is a good point...
Hmm... well I definitely wouldn't do it before Friday anyway, I guess I'll just see how I'm doing over the next couple of days. x

prince's I haven't tested again today, will go and buy a frer in the morning if af doesn't arrive before then. I take it your spotting became definite af then?

I ovulated CD12 this time and my cycles have been from 25-32 days so had to use opks to be sure.

Go have fun and not think about it too much, just obviously not overboard. It avoids the whole 'ooh your not drinking, have you got some exciting news? ;)' conversation as well ...

Oh exciting Violet! Yes my spotting became full blown AF feeling emotional again today as my youngest is 3 on Saturday and thought I'd be pregnant by now! Good luck for tomorrow, let us know
