June BFP anyone?

This is cycle #3 TTC for me. I really hoping this will be my month. Who's with me?

I'm totally symptom spotting even though I said I wouldn't...

AF due todayish. I convinced myself I was preggers 2 months ago as I felt exactly the same as when pregnant with DC1 but nope, was kidding myself. Sigh.

I've namechanged btw, have posted on here a few times previously.

I am not going to start doing OPKs or temping I don't think and just DTD every couple of days, which I am hoping will be the less stressful route. .

Still no AF, had horrible cramping, bloating and backache yesterday. I've never noticed if I normally get that before AF because I haven't been properly TTC before! It sounds like typical AF symptoms though.

I'm too scared to test

Normally AF is bang on schedule but the past 2 months it had been a couple of days later than expected.

I'm gong out for dinner tonight and it will be very suss if I don't drink with the company I'm going with... Hopefully by tonight I'll know either way. I'm not hopeful - I think I ovulated later than I originally thought and we were knackered by that point!

I did give in and tested this morning BFN - but I'm only 10dpo so could still be yet but it has helped settle me more for going away. I also didn't use a very sensitive test - was got in home bargains and says only picks up 1 day after missed af at 25ml

Congratulations!! Can you spread some of your luck our way please! I am cd7 and planning to DTD every other day from this weekend. I told my DH that since being off the pill my libido is through the roof! Xx

After a couple of days of spotting AF is officially here now. My app has rejigged the dates again.
Fertile window 14-19 June
I expect a positive opk on 18 June and then ovulation on 19 June.
AF now due 3 July, so I suppose I'm out of the June bus already but will hang about until the July bus arrives.

So, what dates would you say are the best for dtd? I'm thinking 17,18,19?

Vap - would you also DTD a few days before then too? I read that sperm can live inside you for up to a week. I will be trying to have a good build up before hand so that the egg gets pounced on when it's released! Have I understood it right? X

We've been at this an awfully long time now and dp tends to feel the pressure after a couple of times of dtd in the fertile window and we usually go for it at the beginning of the few days and by the end he is very reluctant so I'm trying to pinpoint the very best days to be caught. I reckon 3 times will be the maximum we will manage.

So, sorry, let me reword the question. Which 3 days are best if you could only have 3 days of dtd?

P.S. His SA results came back with flying colours and he has loads so we don't need to worry about there not being enough if dtd on each day.
