This is cycle #3 TTC for me. I really hoping this will be my month. Who's with me?

Congratulations for the many BFPs!

Awww Louwn I'm so sorry you feel so down. This can be a pretty miserable, lovely process. Please don't give up though...yes, some days will be awful but some days will be ok...and you never know when you'll get your BFP. As it's playing on your mind, I would def go back to the doctors. Let us know how you get on, and if you have anyone in RL that you can confide in make sure you chat to them too x x

Aww thanks for the concern Carlton. I'm just having a bit of a rough time - fallen out with some friends, have the worst boss on the planet and a pretty sh*tty job at times which also means I live away from DH, then just CANNOT seem to get pregnant and have 2.5 weeks in a month where I'm in quite a bit of physical pain. Just feeling a bit generally mopey and sorry for myself...but I know I have a lot to be grateful for so am trying to keep my chin up as much as possible. Thanks for asking after me though Smile. How are you getting on and how are things this month? I find some months are easier/harder than others.

Vap I was thinking I hadn't seen anything from you in ages! Is work keeping you busy? How is everything going? Both on the TTC front and generally? TBH the temping thing just isn't working for me for the reasons you mention - total lack of sleep, waking in different places and waking at all hours (if I even get to sleep, which apparently isn't going to happen tonight Grin). Maybe give it a whirl, but I think you may struggle if your sleeping is that bad.

FlatWhiteToGo · 02/06/2015 01:08

Oh and Carlton, I have an appointment with a specialist gynae in a month (ish). Hopefully I'll have a clearer idea about 'next steps'after that. I can't wait for the appointment, but I'm also completely terrified...

keys27 · 02/06/2015 06:27

carlton I wish you the best of luck today hun if you give into testing im /keeping everything crossed for you. :).

carrot How you feeling today hun?

suz That what I done lol. Couldnt find a proper pot to pee in so I cleaned out the top of a washing comfort lid pmsl.

louwn Keep your chin up hun I know its easier said than done hun I need to take my own advice as well.

flat So sorry to hear your story as well hun. I hope thingsstart getting better for you really soon. Big hugs hun xxx

CarrotVan · 02/06/2015 07:53

I'll update stats later on. I'll try to do it daily whilst lots of people are joining then a couple of times a week - oh, the responsibility! Does this mean I need to start the new bus? I'll have to start thinking of witty opening lines

I'm ok thanks keys. Actually feeling pretty normal and positive about things. Are things settling down for you yet? And I use a clean tealight holder for testing

Flat that sounds very tough. Is there anything you could change to make life easier? Job hunting, move closer to work, regular acupuncture for the pain...?

Vap0 11dpo is too early. Test with carlton on Friday if she holds out.

I'm seriously thinking of not testng until I'm actually, properly late in case of chemical pregnancy or early MC. That being said I'd be amazed if I got pregnant this month.

louwn · 02/06/2015 07:58

Thanks Flat. I hope your appointment goes well, even though it is terrifying hopefully you will get some answers and plans which will make you feel like you are more in control of the whole thing. I think that is it- control - a lot of us are so used to being in control of our lives and this is something we can't do much about and it is so frustrating for that reason. I am much happier now, and no way am I testing next month unless I miss my period by a few days!

Vap0 · 02/06/2015 08:06

Hi flat I didn't think the temping would work when you're away as much as you and I. And I don't need any other reasons to wake early or sleep badly. I won't bother with trying.

I'm pretty down at the minute, I saw the stats on here and I'm so much longer in the tooth than most and keep getting bfn's every morning waiting for af to show up Sad
Was your fertile week as bad as past experiences pain wise? I'm sorry you're feeling down too.

This month has been the worst I think. It's only the 2nd time I've ovulated and so even though it's 20 months since ttc it's really only 2 viable months which is crap. The past months though I was still hopeful though and testing each day as just because I didn't get a + opk I thought I must have missed ovulation or drank too much so fmu was not concentrated enough. If im not really dehydrated I don't get a line at all. Lots of people say they can see lines right the way though the month. Not here, I'll see a faint line for a day and then maybe a nearly as dark line as the control line (questionable whether they are actually positive) the next day and then nothing.

I've stayed off the booze totally in the hope we were caught this month which hasn't been a problem in its self but everyone's constant questions about not drinking and funny looks have had me in tears. I'm not doing the abstinence thing again after this month. This could go on for another year or longer and I actually think I'll end up making myself sick with te stress of it all if I put myself through this every month.

Sorry to be on such a downer when there is so much happiness with all the bfp's going around Confused

Vap0 · 02/06/2015 08:11

carrot im 12dpo today, still bfn Sad
App on my phone says af due Thursday but from looking at past few cycles I think Af is due any time from tomorrow to Sunday.
I'll test each morning but know it's not my month this month.

Roxybaby12 · 02/06/2015 08:18

Vapo I do totally understand, keep your chin up! Flowers Flowers it's so hard ttc, planning remembering dates and then that awful 2ww!
I was still getting Bfn at 11dpo, with DD1 I didn't get a BFP until 15/16dpo and even then it was super faint. Didn't show well until about 18dpo so you're not out yet.
Thinking of you and keep in everything crossed. Xx

CarrotVan · 02/06/2015 08:48

Sometimes you just know. Gin instead then

sampypants · 02/06/2015 09:28

The anxiousness has started, Fertility Friend has given me 3 possible ovulation dates (Fri-Sun this week) and I'm working away tonight and tomorrow, have packed OPK and thermometer!

I'm temping at 5am at the mo, as that's when the chickens start calling to be let out Angry, seems a bit all over the place too. No egg white CM yet though. This is my first month checking all of these things, so not sure what's normal for me yet.

AF has been forecast for Fathers Day, that's a sign right??

Roxybaby12 · 02/06/2015 10:34

Good luck Sampy, I didn't notice any egcm at all this month and was convinced I didn't even ovulate.
Obviously I did after all!! Lol
Good luck and keep us posted. Smile

3Princes99 · 02/06/2015 10:47

Thought I had my positive opk yesterday but now the line looks darker than the control line. Last time we dtd was Saturday night do you think I'm still in with a chance?
Can't dtd again as hubby not back till Friday!

weechops · 02/06/2015 11:26

Hey everyone can I jump on board the June bus too? Last time I was on a ttc bus was in 2013 and I didn't think id be doing this again

I have 3dc (8,4,18m) so this will be -#4. Actually dtd at the right time is tricky as my dh works away so I only have a couple of goes this year!

Stats for me then - weechops, age 35, cycle 1, ttc #4, bfp due 19 June.

louwn · 02/06/2015 11:32

Updated stats for June, ttc #1, cycle 2, AF due 27th June.

Rachelc82 · 02/06/2015 11:55

Updated stats for June. Ttc #1 cycle 11 af due 26th June

Carltonlives · 02/06/2015 12:02

flatwhite keep your chin up, Everyone has down moments. I always think when I'm down that happiness is just around the corner. These things come in cycles don't they. Your appointment can only be a good thing. It's one step closer to your baby :) I'm good thanks, feeling sick this morning though.

vap starting every morning with a bfn can't be good for your mental health! Please try and wait a couple more days before you test again. Distracting yourself is key, I think. Test with me on Friday?!

Good luck for this month sampy! It would be an awesome Father's Day present for your dh

Welcome weechops! Good luck to you. I would love 4 dc too :-)

So I'm feeling rather sick this morning. Hope this is a good sign! Still planning to hold out til Friday though :-)

Hope everyone's well xx

keys27 · 02/06/2015 12:13

Hi newbies welcome on board. Good luck on bfp's.

We really do have down days. I have one today I am so scared I wont fall again silly I know.

Were all in this together guys. Hand holding with you all

carlton good signs huni keeping everything crossed for you I really am xx

CarrotVan · 02/06/2015 12:59

I'll update stats later

3princes sperm can happily lurk for 5-7 days so still in with a chance I would say

wishiwaspregnant · 02/06/2015 13:10

sam I've got same problem with FF. I swear it's because I've finished the free trial and now it's not wanting to give out any info. Does anyone else pay? How much is it? I couldn't temp for 4 days due to working nights, therefore FF has refused to pinpoint OV even though I've had 5 days of EWCM and 2 positive opk?! I thought it looked at more than just your temps? I had a dip today with my temp so hoping to see a rise tomorrow to confirm OV (even if FF doesn't agree)
princes first timer opk here too! I got a line almost as dark as control both yesterday and Sunday. Today's is much much fainter. So I'm putting the other 2 down as my positives... I'm sure there are many variables, like how dilute or concentrated the urine is? And what time of day you test?
Carrot thanks for updated stats! You are a star! Flowers
[waves] to everyone and all newbies!

keys27 · 02/06/2015 13:26

hehe my mum just made me LOL she said stock up on brie and wine before you get them two red lines xx

FlatWhiteToGo · 02/06/2015 13:44

Thanks for all the support. It has honestly made me feel so much better being able to talk to you all and get your support Smile. I think its just been a crappy few months and is just getting on top of me a bit. I didn't want to leave my current job because moving to where DH (and our house!) is based would be such a step down career wise and I just don't feel ready for that so early in my career. Also, I want to stay where I am as I have a good reputation and people would have more faith in me should I go on maternity leave. If I started again I would have so much anxiety about letting the team down by going on mat leave & how it would affect my career. That said, given what a misery guts I am at the moment, partly due to my knob-jockey boss, I may have no choice but to change jobs!

Oh Vap I am so sorry you are feeling awful too. Do you think it's worse because this month you got your hopes up more as you knew you'd ovulated? How has DH/OH been? I hope you're getting plenty of support as it's miserable having to go through this for such a long time. I can understand why you feel a bit low when you look at the stats - I'm the same and I haven't been trying as long. Just remember that sometimes it does take time...and there are always options (different drugs to try, IVF etc).

This round of shagging I only had one session where I nearly cried from the pain. He he. I just feel sorry for DH as it must be a bit sh*t for him! Smile

FlatWhiteToGo · 02/06/2015 13:47

P.S. Vap I completely know what you mean about the drinking. Do you have to go to drink-related things for work? I do and I HATE it because nobody lets you get away with not drinking. If they don't actively force you to drink, then there always has to be the "are you pregnant?" comments/jokes and the look of fear on my wanker boss's face as he thinks about asking HR to issue my P45

chillthefXXkout · 02/06/2015 15:51

hello everyone!
It's great to come back here and see so many BFPs! I've been trying to keep my head in check and not think about TTC, but have found it really difficult!

This is probably a really irresponsible question shows true colours but has everyone quit booze? I haven't really cut back on any types of food remembering all the soft cheese from last night or alcohol...should I? I was thinking I would quit all the bad fun stuff as soon as I get a BFP...Confused

CarrotVan · 02/06/2015 16:02

Jeez no chill. Lifestyle changes after BFP otherwise I'd never get to eat decent cheese or take decent painkillers

TwoHatsTooMany · 02/06/2015 16:22

Hi ladies, is there any room on the back of the bus for me?
##STATS## 27, ttc#2, cycle 3 with clomid, BFP due 18th June
I promised DH that I wouldn't obsess but it's killing me to be calm around him and to not look into every little thing. Ov-ing between now and tomorrow although not had a pos OPK yet, Im feeling like Im sat on my womb every time I sit down.
The conception lark is so glamorous isn't it WinkGrin
