JemimaPuddleDuck2 · 27/04/2015 19:30

Carrot I have pissed my way through a ridiculous amount of tests, I'm definitely not pregnant :(

Thanks for the welcome back woolly Smile

JemimaPuddleDuck2 · 27/04/2015 19:33

Night, I'll admit it, I've probably pissed on about 20 sticks...people who say they are addicted to POAS have nothing on me! ??

nightandthelight · 27/04/2015 19:36

Oh dear poor you jemima :( sounds like it was just a light period!

MissMartin1992 · 27/04/2015 19:40

night i would like a seat on the May bus hehe Grin

stats***
Age 22
TTC #1
Cycle 3
BFP/AF due date -20th May

MissMartin1992 · 27/04/2015 19:42

oh night! sorry i doesn't know it was a document i could open haha.Blush.... ignore meGrin

FlatWhiteToGo · 27/04/2015 19:46

Wooly - That's such a shame. I'm really sorry AF has turned up, the absolute cowbag. I'm sending lots of positive vibes your way! Eat loads of chocolate and sushi, drink loads of caffeine and booze and go find yourself a jacuzzi to sit in...all the fun things you're not usually allowed to do! Thanks for the heads-up on the list (and thanks Night for adding me)...I love a good spreadsheet! Looks like we're fairly similar (age, cycle and TTC #1). For the past 2 cycles I have been using OPKs, I've also started using a thermometer this month as I didn't realise that having an LH surge doesn't necessarily mean you ovulate Hmm. I couldn't believe that (according to OPKs only) I ovulated on CD22 last month...AF came 6 days later so I never stood a chance Sad.

JemimaPuddleDuck2 · 27/04/2015 19:51

Trying to remain positive and just keep shagging I suppose.

I'll pop back and update you all when I reach CD100...wonder if you get a letter from the Queen when you reach CD100? Wink

nightandthelight · 27/04/2015 19:53

That's the spirit jemima :)

Woolly84 · 27/04/2015 19:57

jemima it does sound like it was a light period, so go with CD15 I say! Yes, keep positive, we're good at doing that here! Flowers

flatwhite yes I plan on indulging in some forbidden brie! Haha Yes our stats are very similar, fx we both land those BFPs soon! Hopefully Cd22 ovulation was just a one off blip for you. I'm going to start temping too this month, I was worried it was going to be another thing to obsess over, but actually the extra insight will be really helpful. One thing I'll say for this TTC business is that it has made me more "in tune" with my body than I ever was before!

MissMartin1992 · 27/04/2015 19:59

welcome jemima Grin Grin Grin
sorry im a bit late i havent really been on since finishing work!
welcome everyone who i havent said hi to yet!!!! Grin Grin Grin

CarrotVan · 27/04/2015 20:26

Most annoying when your body decides to confuse things with an atypical period, Jemima.

JemimaPuddleDuck2 · 27/04/2015 20:47

Trying not to panic...whilst googling menopause symptoms ??

loopylou1984 · 27/04/2015 21:02

I thought you'd all gone really quiet - then I realised the bus was full! Hello!! Xx

Woolly84 · 27/04/2015 21:10

jemima hope you're okay, keep positive remember!

sammy hellooooo, nice to have you back here Smile

JemimaPuddleDuck2 · 27/04/2015 21:16

I'm fine Woolly, what ever happens I have a lot to be thankful for and if it's meant to be it will be.

Hoping to see lots of BFP's from you lovely ladies this month though! Smile

loopylou1984 · 27/04/2015 21:19

So I had my dildocam follow up appointment today and apparently everything is normal. So the next step is to have the HyCoSy test to check my tubes. I have to call on cd1 but there are currently no appointments till August... So I have to guess when will be cd 7-11 in August. Or I could pay £425 to have it done privately, but either way iui/IVF on the nhs won't happen until September as you have to have been trying 2 years.
The question is do I pay the money in the hope that I'm one of those women who get pg straight after? Or do I just wait and have it all on the nhs in 3 months?

Congratulations coffee and carrot!!!

Welcome to the newbies, and welcome back to the returners!

Did I miss anything else important? Xx

Woolly84 · 27/04/2015 21:20

We've had a lucky April bus so far jemima, fx lots more to come in May!

nightandthelight · 27/04/2015 21:29

It's a dilemma Sammy! If you have the money I would prob go privately (assuming this doesn't compromise your right to NHS IVF/IUI?). I would say better to perhaps get a natural BFP if possible but still be able to have the IVF in September if needed :)

Woolly84 · 27/04/2015 21:33

Hmm I'd probably agree with night and do it privately if finances allowed, but 3 months could go quickly sammy and you'd still have a plan at the end of it even if it didn't happen naturally in that time. Either way it's great that things are moving!

nightandthelight · 27/04/2015 21:36

parsnip have you heard from Clearblue? I haven't :(

parsnipbob · 27/04/2015 21:46

night yes I heard from them on Friday last week....they sent me a form to sign and scan and email to them and once I do that they'll send me the stuff. I was really surprised to hear from them so quickly, sorry you haven't? Plenty of time though, probably depends on the area you live in I expect.

DizzyMerry · 27/04/2015 22:13

Pleased to see this bus oozing with positivity tonight Smile

Sammy I'm with night in that it's better to carry on ttc as there's every chance you will conceive naturally but still have the IVF option later. It is a lot of money to spend on a test. Sleep on it and see how you feel about it tomorrow.

Jemima our bodies can play cruel tricks on us when ttc. Hopefully it was just a light period.

Woolly I've really got into temping and it is insightful. I'm sure I've ovulated but no crosshairs yet. It will also be interesting to see what my temps look like in the luteal phase. If progesterone continues to be an issue I need to think about what to do.

Woolly84 · 27/04/2015 22:40

We'll have to compare charts dizzym! Hope you get those crosshairs soon x

DizzyMerry · 27/04/2015 22:43

Great idea woolly I have been scouring Google for charts but it would be nice to compare them here because this is where it's all happening!

BabyBumpHopeful · 28/04/2015 01:41

Well I'm CD23/32 today and OPK's haven't shown ovulation (though I missed CD20 for some reason). I haven't been able to temp as it's been a rough couple of days (sleeping REALLY badly too, back is killing me). I tested my temp this morning and it was low like I haven't ovulated yet BUT I mouth breath and have a CPAP so it's not definitive yet... but it's late so I think I might be having an anovulatory cycle :S

In other news though, went to a baby shower this weekend and had to go shopping for a present... oh fun baby stuff! I got her something off her registry, the Boon Grass and Twig :) Totally want one for myself!!

Baby dust to us all!
