Another 2ww thread!!!!!

Hi everyone. I'm about to embark on another 2ww (ovulating today) and wondered if there was anyone else out there in the same position who wanted to come along for the ride!

Only cycle 2 TTC #2 but took 13 months last time so crossing everything!!

Scary how horrible - can't believe they were all showing a faint line? That;s exactly what I was worried about but it looks like a proper positive as the line has definitely got darker each day. Will feel more relaxed by the end of the week (and then will be tense again til the 12 week scan....

alien if you can possibly hold out for a couple more days, maybe try. I'm totally rubbish at doing that, but kind of wish i had this cycle as I threw myself into a bit of turmoil not even trusting the line.

We've been TTC for just over a year now, very frustrating! Years of irreg period. Beenn through months of blood tests, weeing on sticks etc with not much feedback as to why nothing is happening just that my estro levels are low?! Last month dr started me on Clomid.. 21bloods showed i have ovulated, yay! Im now vastly approaching the dreaded 2ww! I have 1 child already but he is now 9y/o and i can hardly remember my pregnancy in the beginning, but then i didnt find out till i was 10 weeks and he wasnt planned so i wasnt tracking it.
For the past week and a bit ive been having pains in my lower stomach, sometimes feel like cramp, other times its a sharp stab or pulling feeling, and the occasional wave of nausea.
Any of you ladies relate to this or am i just imagining it lol so desperate to be preggo that im worried my mind is playing tricks on me

Update from m 12dpo and taken two pregnancy tests one superdrug one and bfn and a clear blue digi and another bfn, I'm on cd27 and af due tomorrow, no pains or aches as I would normally have. I suffer from horrendous period pain so not quite sure whats happening. No obvious symptoms apart from really hungry, slight nausea every now and then and tmi cervical mucus that's white and thick. Is there any hope?

crystal you are on exactly the same cd as me! I hAvent taken a test yet but going to grab a tesco one this afternoon And take one this afternoon& another tomorrow morning. I also have the same cervical mucus! I have no other symptoms except tiredness but I could always sleep anytime
My last cycles were 35 and 28 days so probably should be expecting it next week instead!

allie that close to ov the pains are probably more linked to the egg being released rather than anything pg related. Egg if fertilised won't implant until at least 6dpo and it then takes a while for the hormone to build up and symptoms to be present. You can drive yourself mad symptom spotting; how you doing now?

Crystal sorry for the BFNs. White and creamy CM could be a pg sign, depends what you normal get pre-AF.

I'm ok thanks, haven't had any pains for the past couple days. I have definitely been symptom spotting, thing is I'm so impatient that the slightest little thing I'm clinging on to even though deep down I know! Desperation can drive a woman insane haha! I'm due on Sunday so have to see what happens.

Alien at 17dpo, if you are pg, any test will confirm it. How longs your LP?

Luteal phase - the time from ov to AF. It's normally static and does not change (mine is 15) I always knew AF was imminent because I'd get a huge temp drop at 16 dpo and AF would arrive. So if you have a 14 day LP then at 17 you are well past what would be normal for you!

I don't have a clue! Guessing 14 two months ago but longer last month (35 day period!)

Thanks guys! Don't normally get any cervical mucus before af so that's what drew my attention to it! Alien you're very good to hold out that long it's my first month trying and I'm already a POAS addict I reckon I've spent £30 on pregnancy tests, next month I'm just going to wait until af is late as cant continue like this because its exhausting lol! X

alien you will still have a 14 day LP regardless of cycle length. The longer cycles just mean that you probably ov'd later than usual (could be a number of reasons for that - I normally ov around CD18 but this cycle it was CD23)

I have on a clear blue digi and said not pregnant, but af due today and so far nothing and still no af symptoms something is definately not right! Not sure what's going on. It's my first cycle trying and came off pill so haven't had a normal bleed yet so maybe that x

Nope no signs yet! For some reason I don't want to buy any tests for fear of disappointment :( hard as worried why AF isn't normal (28 ish) and also worried why I can't fall pregnant again
I've ordered some tests from eBay so they should arrive next week if AF hasn't arrived. 35 days is next weekend so that's my deadline so to speak.

I have finally had my temp rise this am. Like last month I don't feel it matches up with my ov pains/cm. I thought I o'd 2 days ago.

If I did ov yesterday I feel I'm out this month as we last dtd weds night and haven't had the chance since.

Mooley, how many days before ov did you dtd? I seem to remember you were staying with family when you ov'd so were worried you wouldn't get the timings right.

I'm hoping that I just have a sluggish temp rise again which can happen.

Scary we dtd 2 days before ov, however I didn't confirm my temp rise as I forgot my thermometer so not sure I ov'd on the Saturday only went if cm and cervix. You might be ok. Sperm can live for up to 5 days in the right conditions and 3 days before ov gives you plenty of time. Plus it might not even be three days as the egg could have popped on Friday!! Have everything crossed for you, you really deserve that BFP!!!!!

We were trying the eod approach but for one reason or another couldn't continue on Friday. It annoys me that if we had dtd Friday I wouldn't be worried now! Grrr, oh well. We will see what happens.

Apart from the sore noobs, exhaustion and being ridiculously emotional I'm ok. 7 weeks today and by this point in my last of I was very very sick so I'm worried that somethings wrong although I know that every pg is different!

First appt on Thursday and will be glad when I get that scan under my belt so I know all is ok with twiglet!!

Hi scary no news here. Cd30 have ordered some tests from eBay so will test when they arrive in a few days. Last cycle was 35 days( sorry if keep repeating) so by next weekend i would be officially late. Sorry for quick post must dash as need to head to rememberance parade x

crystal easy for me to say, but try not to symptom spot. I found it was driving me crazy. I've reined myself in now and try not to pay too much attention until AF is due.

I cracked an egg yesterday and got a double yolk! I said its a sign! I've never had one before. Then I cracked another and had another! So then I just thought these chickens must have been fed extra hormones! Haha.
