Another 2ww thread!!!!!

Hi everyone. I'm about to embark on another 2ww (ovulating today) and wondered if there was anyone else out there in the same position who wanted to come along for the ride!

Only cycle 2 TTC #2 but took 13 months last time so crossing everything!!

Morning ! Yes I was good. It would have been pointless anyway as it's a waitrose cheapy so not the most sensitive. DPO6 today.... I'm aiming to the end!! If I was to test on DPO10/11 I would have to get a more sensitive one and considering how much a spent last month and I am going to try even it out . defo need you guys to keep me on the wagon though!

Scary I don't have a clue about temping but sounds like we are made extra effort this month so fx for a sticky bean!!!

I'm afraid I don't know much about temping, but am impressed nevertheless by those charts!!

I should be out of my misery tomorrow when AF arrives. I tested this morning (sorry, i know I said I would wait for AF!) and nothing, so I must be out this month. Just want her to arrive so we can get on with next month!

Also testing a day before is pretty impressive ! If I can last that long id be super chuffed with myself.

Just don't want to go through what I did last month... Testing so early and when i got a negative I wrote it off as being too soon. It's depressing seeing so many bfn. So I know waiting to the end is the best way to do it. Just need to stay strong.

Going all philosophical now.... What will be will be. I often think , what if a different sperm fertilised the egg ... I would have a different DC1... No doubt I would love it the same as my DD now but it wouldn't be her and how sad a thought knowing now what i'd be missing .... I wouldn't wanted to have conceived any earlier/later than I did. Whenever the next little bean sticks it's because it's meant to be ....it's our destiny with that particular child. So don't fret guys.... Everyday we are getting closer to making it happen and closer to meeting that particular special little person in our lives x

Candy, that is so lovely. I often think that way but you have described it so much more eloquently than I could.

Mooley- thanks for the help with the chart, I think I o'd on Monday too. Will take a look at that link now and see if it tidies things up a bit!

I'm officially putting myself in the tww, I'm 2dpo, screw the temps, all the other signs were/are there!

....and she's here! I'm actually feeling relieved and pretty upbeat about this month - even feeling happy she's here one day early as it means one day earlier to start trying again . What a weirdo.

I will definitely be popping back in to check on how you ladies are doing. Bring on the BFPs! xx

Ahh crap, sorry about AF Bobian. Glad you're feeling ok though. I can understand where you're coming from, at least the speculation is over when you have a definate no so you can move on and plan for next time.

Hi all,
I'm new to ttc and driving myself crazy! Started ttc middle of sept and have erratic periods. No idea when af is due so no idea when to test really. 2 bfn one two weeks ago and one today. Week before 4th September had normal period then on 4th bled lightly for 2 days (before we started trying) and 3 periods before that were normal 28day. Seem to have every symptom in the early pregnancy book, but is it all in my head? Either want af or bfp to arrive. Dont feel like af is coming any time soon.

crafty have you come off birth control? If so it can take a while for your body to get back to normal, despite having reg periods. Do you chart ov? Only way to prepare for it is with OPKs or tracking your BBT, checking cm etc. your periods do sound pretty regular (with a blip in Sept). All you can do is wait it out I'm afraid, I know it's frustrating.

Well I don't think I'm ov'ing at all now. Still no significant temp rise and I'm getting concerned that this is going to be an anovulatory cycle which is most annoying. I know they can happen but having PCOS means I'm not the most regular. In fact since having DD i did seem to be ov'ing every month and I kniw know anovulatory cycles can happen just frustrating - sorry for rant.

Welcome crafty, this is a lucky thread! We had quite a few BFP last months so hoping for the same this month.

Sooooo confession time .... I .... POAS.... It's only DPO7 and it wasn't even with FMU .... SOOOO my excuse is, they are not proper pee sticks , they came free with the preseed stuff so it doesn't really count ??

On other news... I have no news.... I have no symptoms

Had last depo injection Dec last year, gp seems to think that after 3 regular cycles I should be ovulating. Also had a operative laproscopy about 6 weeks ago to remove endometriosis. Want to start tracking ov, but need af to arrive or hopefully wont have to bother if I get a bfp .

How long since my last af should I wait to see my gp if this af doesn't turn up?

Mooley, sorry about ov, it might not be an annovulatory cycle, may just be delayed. Do you have lots of opks to pee o? Keep going EOD if you can, just in case.

I had my first clear temp rise this am. I really hope it was just a slow rise rather than ov yesterday. I did get some achy stomach pains all day yesterday which got a little worse last night but nowhere near as sore as my normal ov pains. On a sort of plus I have had some light brown discharge which happened at 3dpo last time. I've read this can be blood from the egg popping during ov. I hope that is the cause as it means we timed it right. All signs apart from the temp point to me o'ing on Monday but I keep getting a little voice telling me that the temp rise is a pretty important sign and without it I prob didn't ov when I thought.

Time will tell.

Candy- I have a bag full of ic's so I'm pretty much guaranteed to fold from 7/8 dpo on. I can't really blame you and you're right, they don't count if they are the rubbishy free ones!

Crafty GP won't normally refer you until you have been trying for the best part of a year; however as you have endometriosis then you could see them at 6 months and see what they say (if you haven't got upduffed by then that is!). Fx'd it doesn't come to that though :)

Candy STEP AWAY FROM THE TESTS!!! You know that 7dpo is far far too early to be testing, the egg might not even implanted yet and even if it has then it stil takes at least 2 days for hCG to build up. Naughty naughty (but completely understand!!)

Scary YEY for temp rise :) :) I am sure that you more than likely ov'd on Monday looking at your chart. Try to relax (easier said than done i know).

Well still oodles of EWCM, high, soft and open cervix but NO BLOODY TEMP RISE!!!!! i am either about to ov or my body is having a good laugh this month. We DTD last night but not going to get the chance until at least Monday as we are going away for the weekend with by DH's parents. They sleep in the room next to us so no chance at all of any sexy time. On that basis alone I am writing this month off, which is a little disappointing. Just got to hope that i either get a nice temp rise tomorrow or a dip and a rise on Sunday, that way at least there will be some sort of sperm up there to attempt an egg meet!!!

Right, got to go and sort myself out for tonights journey. Cheese and wine is the order of the day i think :)

gp apt plan was more to find out why af hasnt arrived rather than for fertility clinic referral.
Bought a first response test today as was out with my sis in law and her ds and she kept asking me if I was up the duff, mainly as apparently my boobs are massive, and I kept heaving at random smells.
Thought id wet myself or af had arrived earlier, but nope just loads of cm (sorry tmi).
Ended up giggling like a school girl in superdrug at the selection of turkey basters next to the tests, the descriptions on some of them were ridiculous, its very likely I probably need to grow up!

Probably first thing in the morning tomorrow then if I dont get af or a gp apt before I'll try to wait again til next weekend.

Im sure I remember my mum saying she never got a positive home test and didnt find out she was 2 months pregnant until she had a blood test cos was feeling fluey for ages. She always had erratic periods so hadnt made the connection with a missed period. Could be that home tests in the 80s weren't very sensitive though.

Hi all. It's my first ever tww.... So not really expecting a bfp so quickly but still keeping fingers crossed. 6 days until AF due so only time will tell. Developed a thick creamy cm today and had light cramping last week but don't know if I'm imagining symptoms!!
