Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture!

The rather nobbish article in which we became a little bit notorious is here

Happy shagging, shaggers!

KatoPotato · 07/09/2014 08:52

Well I'm still in complete shock and denial, and still haven't told DH. He's been so anxious about work and he came off citalopram to ttc, and of course we've been js'ing but I'm too scared to tell him.

I'm crazy. I'm just so utterly terrified right now

ChatEnOeuf · 07/09/2014 08:56

Oh honey I'm so sorry Thanks. Have words with your doc.

Feels like AF is on her sweet way, here endeth the wtf cycle Smile

We spent yesterday at the Belgian beer festival, it was utterly brilliant Grin

Minion · 07/09/2014 09:24

What a lucky Fred girls! Congrats kato!

BeforeIChangeMyMind · 07/09/2014 09:41

I'm sorry Honey. Take whatever time you need to get back on an even keel.

Kato - being frightened is one of many perfectly normal reactions to a BFP, even if you've been trying. It means a big change is coming, which is often a scary thing. I felt utter terror with my last one. Our lives were delicately balanced and I was so worried about a new thing to deal with. I'm not sure if I'm saying the right thing - just want you to know that it's not an unusual reaction and you won't be alone in feeling the way you do. I did.

Give yourself a bit of time to get used to the idea, as slowly as you need to. But tell DH if you can - he may be terrified too, but at least you'll be in it together.

wilmabedrock · 07/09/2014 09:46

Agree kato, tell DH, take some of the pressure off yourself.

So sorry again Honey. That's shit of your GP. Hope you get meds sorted out Thanks .

Leela5 · 07/09/2014 09:50

Think it's natural to be terrified kato me and Mr La haven't seen each other yet to talk about it properly as he was on nights. I've been quietly terrified since wed

patientlywaitingformymiracle · 07/09/2014 09:53

Viroids..it is still there this morning, still super super faint though (should be stronger if it were real?) I'm not sure its even photographable...

patientlywaitingformymiracle · 07/09/2014 09:54

Oh ..just read other posts, honey I am so sorry I can't really say more than that but I am sending hugs xx

wilmabedrock · 07/09/2014 10:06

If it's negative there should be no line at all. When was AF due? Get a digi?

BertieBotts · 07/09/2014 10:22

Too hard to see on that photo but if there's a line in RL even if super faint then it should be positive. Super faint just means the level is very low so try again in a day or two. Very low still means it's present though - and it's not present unless you're pregnant! Hmmm, if you took it last night try this evening, hold your pee for a loooong time to concentrate it Grin

If it's that faint a digital will show negative, they aren't as sensitive (Which sort of defeats the point of them being digital IMO!)

ZylaB · 07/09/2014 10:57

Hugs honey

minimooo · 07/09/2014 11:02

So sorry honey. Hope you can get meds sorted soon Thanks

jellypi3 · 07/09/2014 11:13

I don't know what I'm meant to be looking at Patiently, should there be a line to the right that's red?

jellypi3 · 07/09/2014 11:13

meant left**

minimooo · 07/09/2014 11:13

patiently Maybe try a frer? I only got a really faint line on those ICs at 14dpo but the next day I got a whopper of a line on a frer and 2-3 weeks on a cb digi, so I'm not convinced that ICs really give good strong lines. (Correct me if I'm wrong though ladies)
Fingers crossed for you x

RPopz · 07/09/2014 11:45

Just found some WiFi and back for Crazy Fred!!!

La - I am so fudging happy for you!!! Grin Grin Grin Why on earth did you buy clear blue... silly moo! Haha. Frer is the way forward Smile

Congrats everyone else... Smile

So sorry Honey Thanks x

KatoPotato · 07/09/2014 12:22

Told DH. Lots of tears. Much worry. Overall happiness. My digi had vanished so we got another and now it says 2-3. Exciting times.

Leela5 · 07/09/2014 14:03

patiently those are the cheapest of cheap ics and I still only get very faint line on them. Can you get to shop to get frer?

Leela5 · 07/09/2014 14:04

Ah kato that's lovely Grin

KatoPotato · 07/09/2014 14:19

Patiently, I still come up faint on the ICs. I used a morrisons own brand and got a really dark line today, and a cb digital (2-3) I'm now 14dpo x

jellypi3 · 07/09/2014 14:31

congrats Kato :) glad it went well for you! Question re the IC tests, you're meant to see two RED lines right? Not one red one white?
