Following up from the 23rd Jan thread, thought I'd make us a fresh new thread full of positivity!

TTC #1 cycle 2 (officially) BFP due Feb15th :)

Oh sorry of course you have. How are you feeling?

Yes, Im currently 5 + 2 weeks today!
Seems such early days still but feeling positive!
Also feeling quite tired and sick but I kind of like that as it makes me feel pregnant!!
Can't wait until the 12 weeks scan so then we can start telling everyone!
Exciting times!!

Every month in the week leading up to AF I get really moody and my tummy goes very swollen. This time I feel extremely queasy everyday, I'm off my food as things are tasting funny, smells are making me feel sick. So I am really hoping its pregnancy signs...it could be a bug though

This might be really thick, but why do people give a number of weeks with the + a number at the end?!

Yeah I've had friends say that as well, must be hard to believe it when you don't feel anything! Have you told anyone?

I need to buy tests don't have any, AF has been like clockwork each month and i didn't want to have them in the house as I will test early, I've no patience!

Yeah that's a really good idea. I bought loads of ebay cheapies because it took so long for me to have a period the doctor recommended I keep testing to be sure. I have been pretty good with not using them though. Didn't POAS once last month and haven't so far this month either! How long have you been trying for?

I've tested :( bfn on a frer.
13dpo today according to opk. My app says af not due til 15th though so unsure.
Think I'm out this month.
Keep thinking maybe i ovulated later than opk said and actually back to a 28 day cycle. If af isnt here tomorrow i will be very confused.

So confusing, what cycles have you been having, what ttc cycle are you on?

Ah thanks for that, pretty obvious when you think about it !!

My cycles every month have been 28/29 days but last month it was 24 days. Completely out of the blue.
TTC cycle 2 properly trying and cycle 5 not trying but not preventing.

Did you have the odd early af last month?

Who would have guessed this whole ttc stuff could be so draining.

Yeah the early af was last month.
I know! Its a complete rollercoaster.

I really have no idea what causes cycles to all of a sudden just change, but it's not helpful when ttc at all is it!

Tested this morning. Bfn. No af yet.

Booo rubbish. Are you going to keep testing daily until bfp or af?

Yep definitely. I shouldnt though. These internet cheapies are driving me mad. Had an evap line at. 7dpo, 10dpo i think it was and then again today.
Todays was bfn this morning and now 6 hours later theres a pale line. Grr! Giving me false hope.

Oh that's really weird isn't it. I've never seen anything like that. Are you sacking off the cheapies for a bit now then?

I think so. Will use them til i get af or not then next month ill just have to wait and use first response.

I nipped out at lunchtime today and picked up a first response, AF is due Friday so I will do my best to wait until then but I can't promise

When are first response tests supposed to work from?!

Says on the box it can detect it 6 days early but I doubt that's accurate I will need to read the leaflet and see, think I might do one tomorrow

Yeah bfn, shouldn't have done it early. Never mind AF should arrive Fri, if not I'll test again
