Hi everyone my AF appeared on 3rd December, so got kicked off the December bus pretty early! But couldn't see a January bus yet!! My stats are TTC #2 cycle 5 BFP due 8th Jan.

I'm over my grump now, but stuck at work until 8.30 will start the SMEP tonight- doctor told me to do it every other day especially cd10-20 so fingers crossed. Also a friend said she had an inverted cervix (?) so maybe girl on top might work this month- sorry for TMI! I'll try anything this month

Yep meezermum you've got your stats right. Me and DH are also trying for our first. Usually I'm just really excited about it but I occasionally get panicky and think 'gaah, what the hell am I doing, I can barely even look after myself'! I hope you settled in quick. It's a nice friendly community and a good place to ask questions you don't want to ask anyone else.

I'm on CD9 and gearing up for our DTD-athon. Luckily me and DH both have some time off together over the festive break which should coincide with my most fertile days this month, meaning we should get plenty of DTD in (provided I have a normal length cycle this month, unlike last month's first cycle off the pill which was nearly 6 weeks long)! Hoping for a BFP in January to get the year off to a good start!

Thanks Kitkat! I know what you mean. I swing from excitement to omg what are we doing, how will be cope, how will be afford it, what about my career, and then back again! But people always say there's no 'right' time so I think this is as right as it's ever going to be.

I have vey long cycles (39 days) so our next window is mid Jan. The wait is killing me! I'm so getting ahead of myself - names already chosen, some baby stuff already bought. I hope I'm not setting myself up for a fall!

Looks like we're the same age as well. 1985 is a good year! :)

Oh cool. Always nice to meet others in the same TTC boat! Me and DH have had all the same thoughts about maybe the time isn't right etc, but then thought 'to hell with it, let's go for it anyway'! Wishing you a successful month on your first TTC bus!

Had my first post-MC wobble on Friday night whilst walking home from the staff party (yes, wine and gin were involved ). Think it's out of my system now. It was one week since the op. Read up this morning and my risk of miscarriage isn't increased when TTC again and my fertility may be higher for the next 3 months! So full steam ahead on the January bus (to mix a metaphor)!

Definitely going to be boarding the January Bus now as i have my ticket; AF has arrived on CD41 (was hoping it was delayed due to another reason!)
As AF arrived very late last night, do I count yesterday as CD1 or today as it will be the first full day of AF? Going to try the SMEP plan this month.

wow there are a LOT of bfps expected in January!

well my blood tinged ewcm disappeared and has been replaced with just plain spotting...I have no idea what is going on in there!

Kitty I did read somewhere that you should count CD1 as your first day of full flow. After DD in July I had probs with few days of light bleeding /spotting before the real thing but ov seemed always to come 14 days after full flow so that's what I go with.

AFM CD4 and have decided to go with the CBFM again (cycle 3) but think we are going with EOD, 6 days straight last month was a bit much! Also plan to add in Venos cough mixture to encourage the EWCM! Does anyone else have any master plans!

Bought my cough medicine from
Boots yesterday :) cd6 today so going to start taking it the next couple of days !

I've had a really nasty time of it recently, had the flu for the first time. I will never call a cold the flu again. DH went to get some medicine and bought some beechams venos (the expectorant one) and it's true. It really does increase the amount of cm. I'm now on cd 12 and have noticed loads of ewcm, this is early for me. What should the plan be now? Do we dtd today, tomorrow and the day after?

Morning everyone, would just like to grab a seat before I begin my day. I was rudely booted off the dec bus by an early visit from af so thought I'd immediately jump on here! We are ttc#1, cycle 3, bfp due 19th jan.

Bump, there's conflicting advice on how often is better- every day or every other. Most Dr's say as long as your Dtd every other day you shouldn't miss it and am b/dancing seems to get better results than pm... I'm not a morning person hence why I'm not pg yet! Still we've been Dtd every day since day 10. Now day 22- still waiting for a peak!! And a little tired!

Thanks Hope I read your post this morning so made sure we got an AM DTD before THE food shop. This is only our first month of ttc but thanks to all the lovely ladies from the December bus and this bus, I already feel like I know a lot more.

Hi everyone, fertility friend thinks I ovulated on cd8 this time so now I'm already in the 2ww. Feeling really sleepy today but that's probably due to sleeping badly whilst staying at in-laws. Must not get excited or symptom spot!

Im keeping my seat, im actively trying this month but classing next month as my bodys getting over pill still.....please dont kick me off!!

Every1 Talks abt symptom spotting but other than the obvious missed af, what else should we look for? Xx

Hi lovely ladies. Wishing you all a very merry Christmas!! It's blowing such a storm outside I am surprised the house hasn't taken flight...

DD woke coughing at 2:15 this morning and couldn't get to sleep longer than 10 mins at a time so I'm feeling shattered. Plus she's nap refused. I'm working from home and my mum is looking after the terror downstairs. I don't know how that child is still awake and to be honest I don't know how I am either!

Well looks like I'm in the 2ww now. DTD on cd10, 14, 17, 18am/pm, 20. Now on cd21. My positive opks were cd 17 & 18. Hope we caught it right...

Really praying dd sleeps tonight, I don't want to start Christmas feeling exhausted!

Can I join in? Currently TTC #2. First cycle. Got out my clearblue fertility monitor and we shagged on all the right days so here's hoping we caught the egg!

AF due 1 January and that feels a loooong time away!!!

I forgot how headwrecking TTC is, even when you haven't been doing it long!

For those symptom spotting.... Very sore boobs are what happened with me last time.

Annoyingly early pregnancy symptoms really are just like AF symptoms - cramping etc.

Evening everyone, I’m not liking this weather at all! We live on a top floor flat and feels like were about to take off right now!
mum2kiss lets hope we all get a BFP, think were in with a high chance as Dec appears to be the month where most babies are conceived!

Thats what were here for punky my DH asked me what I was doing the other night typing out everyones stats lol, if he read half of what people discuss on the conception threads think he would be very confused lol.
I’m going to try not to SS this month, as I was really sure I was pg last month, cause I was sick which I never am! But must of been 24hr bug.
