Congratulations hippy and fx KitKat. Sorry to all this that witch got. Just seeing the back of her here so hold onto you hat hubby, I'm coming for you!

wondercat07 · 05/01/2014 13:07

Congratulations hippy!! When was your AF due again?
And hopefully congrats to you for tomorrow kitkat

I'm feeling pretty doubtful about this cycle, as got a bfn on day 12dpo but only a 20 mu test so who knows. If AF doesn't arrive tomorrow I'll test again tues or weds. Or tomorrow! But feeling pretty pre-AF ish, iyswim

mum2kiss cloudy pee sounds a bit like a uti, can give cramping too, might be worth getting it checked

smorgasborgen · 05/01/2014 13:18

hello all! I guess this is the double decker for me! 31 yrs of age, married for a year. been trying for six months with one mc at seven weeks. DTD yesterday and day before, (got positive opk yesterday). due on the eighteenth if all is the same as last month. Smile Smile

HippyJess · 05/01/2014 13:21

It is due on Wednesday wondercat, if you go by 14dpo as due.

Cherieblossom · 05/01/2014 13:30

Hey girlies

I have some news...

As you know I had a BFN yesterday but was cramping like mad.

Today I went to boots and splashed on a FRER thinking, here we go, my period isn't even due and I can't help myself from poas.

I poas and was about to chuck it away when I saw a BFP appearing!!!!!

I can't quite believe it :-)))))

I hope that the BFN of today transform into BFP tomorrow
Xxxx

Gingerpanther27 · 05/01/2014 13:31

Kitkat - that happened to me. The 6 month old pooping machine is the result :)

Gingerpanther27 · 05/01/2014 13:33

Congrats to all the bfp's coming out to play.

Sleepisf0rwimps · 05/01/2014 13:36

Hooray! Congrats to the BFP's!

KittyVonCatsington · 05/01/2014 13:42

Very pleased to read another BFP, HippyJess, since I posted earlier this morning. So pleased!

On CD13, so hoping I get a positive OPK result in the next couple of days as this was about the time I got (admittedly self diagnosed) "ovulation pains" last month. Still DTD though in case!

Regarding the topic of symptom spotting; I have become very guilty of this! Got dizzy spells working on the laptop yesterday and kept getting hot flushes. It is very hard to concentrate, gah!

Cherieblossom · 05/01/2014 13:42

And congratulations hippy!

JustMarriedBecca · 05/01/2014 13:52

Congrats Cherieblossom

Sounds like we're flying this month ladies....long may it continue!

What is a FRER? First response? When was AF due?

Cherieblossom · 05/01/2014 14:02

Thank you :-)
Yes first response
AF was due tomorrow
X

seasavage · 05/01/2014 14:04

Congratulations are due to quite a few. Great news for you and yours x
BFN here. Late, but hopes are pretty low. OV wasn't detected this month and ear infection has made a comeback. Health first I think!

Blithereens · 05/01/2014 14:07

Oh, a gaggle of BFPs! How lovely! Congrats all!

Those of you following the Psychic MIL saga from last night - she and FIL came to stay over here after the do and she was so funny this morning, 'casually' asking me how EXACTLY I was feeling and how EXACTLY it had gone on for and what EXACTLY were my symptoms - all while trying not to give away that she thinks we're TTC. Bless!

I feel much less dizzy today. Don't know if that's a good sign or a bad one :/ Seems like an age until I can test!

Moffit · 05/01/2014 14:19

Congratulations hippyjess and cherieblossom, kitkat how are you going to concentrate at work? I bet you can't wait to re-test!

Glad to see some more BFPs rolling in, can we have the details please ladies? Smile

mum2kiss · 05/01/2014 14:19

So we're off to asda in a few minutes...not sure if I should buy tampons or a test!!! Lol!

PetiteChouette · 05/01/2014 14:19

Oooooh big congratulations to Hippy, and Cherie and fx for Kitkat, but it all sounds very positive. So lovely to see more BFPs appearing on the thread. GrinGrinGrin

And thanks Kitty. I have my fx...but I'm not holding my breath to be honest. Although I have been feeling a bit nauseous all morning and the pain around my right ovary hasn't disappeared yet.

Cybercat · 05/01/2014 14:24

Congratulations to you lucky ladies with BFP - so chuffed for you.

Im after a bit of advice. First day of last period was 11th Dec, had left sided (low down) cramping on 27th which I hope was ovulation pain but Ive not noticed/paid attention before. I read that ov pain can happen after the egg has been released or afterwards. Late last night and today (8-9days after ?ovulation) Ive got crampy pains that come and go. I really want to think this could be implanration but ts too high up. It has been as high up as the level of my belly button. Im hoping too much aren't I?

Cybercat · 05/01/2014 14:26

Didn't proof read! I read that ov pain can be before or after egg release.

icy121 · 05/01/2014 14:32

Hello

I am brand new to all of this, so reading through the thread has been a bit confusing with all the abbreviations (doing a lot of "meaning of.." Google searches but think I'm getting there).

Can't believe how little knowledge I have!

About me: I'm 26, been with my partner for 4 and a half years, he is a leeetle older than me (45, ahem) but we make it work and are really happy together. He's got 2 daughters from previous marriage. His ex pulled the plug in their marriage and kicked him out. 3 weeks later he spoke me to for first time. The rest is history! Sorry to be defensive, but we work in the same industry, and you wouldn't believe how many people who know us both think it's acceptable to ask: "did you have anything to do with the divorce"?!! I used to say oh no blah blah blah but now I just say "that's a highly personal question and none of your business, but at any rate no I didn't and since we're in sharing mode, how often do you have sex with your wife [they are invariably male] and what's your salary?"

Anyway. Stopped the pill in early November sometime (see! Hopeless I don't even know the dates) and had my first proper period on Boxing Day. Downloaded an app which says I'm on CD11 and Monday-Friday next week are highlighted as 'get shagging' days on said app calendar (not really, they're just edged in green). I bought ovulation sticks off amazon, to date only control line has shown up.

...am I even in the right thread? Should I go to February?!

This whole ttc thing is leaving me floundering huge!! Exciting though. Can't take the grin off my face

:) x

Sleepisf0rwimps · 05/01/2014 14:58

Hi icy !

It is all very exciting isn't it? It can become frustrating for some as time goes on, understandably, which is why you might see some of us having a good moan every now and then. It's a great place to vent though, good and bad.

I'd say you're in the right place. How long are your cycles generally? They (who, I'm not so sure) say to generally expect to ov around 14 days before your period is due. This is because (very) generally speaking, the luteal phase is usually around 14 days.

And rude b*stards to be commenting on your relationship like that! Honestly, some people.

spinningirl10 · 05/01/2014 15:38

Congratulations Hippy and Cherie GrinGrin

Welcome Icy Grin

Honeybear30 · 05/01/2014 15:47

Big congrats to the BFP's, I thought we were due some as it's the 5th jan already! So exciting to see some positive results :) and hippy first cycle, so lucky!

rockin20s · 05/01/2014 16:13

I have been away from the internet for 3 days and I have 10 pages to read through. Congrats on the BFP

I piac yesterday morning (9dpo)as it was my husbands birthday and we both thought we saw a VERY faint line!!!
He wouldn't let me test today so will rest again in the morning (11dpo) can't wait!!!!!

ImaginaryHat · 05/01/2014 16:16

Congratulations Cherie Flowers, so exciting. Good to see the bfps starting to trickle in....who's next?!

KitKat, not to get your hopes up as I know everyone has different experiences but Ive been using ic preg tests since starting ttc (now on cycle 8) and have never had an evap line with them. Both chemical pregnancies Ive had have been backed up by positive ic tests and all other months have been very definitely negative, no evaps at all, even after 24 hours. As I said I know other people will have had evaplines but really hope you get a line in the morning, good luck!
