Hi everyone my AF appeared on 3rd December, so got kicked off the December bus pretty early! But couldn't see a January bus yet!! My stats are TTC #2 cycle 5 BFP due 8th Jan.

Think DP and I only DTD once when it would of been useful. This months been difficult as I haven't checked my cm or used ov sticks as I was doing when we were trying before....so I guess this month we are technically 'just shagging' but I have my opk's ordered for next month and a load of internet cheapy Hpts.

I will be upset it AF comes though, plus I have endo so I should know by tomorrow if she's coming!!!

I'm Just in the 2ww, dp said to tell him at ov time and we only dtd once 2 days before!! We were away for New Year in a lovely hotel and although I tried on numerous occasions to dtd dp just wasn't able to complete the job

Yes Moffit - I did go in this month quite disheartened. Due to work we only DTD on cd4, cd 8 and cd12 due to work. Despite that am still symptom spotting all over the place!! On New year started spotting and convinced it was AF, I felt crap and almost started downing the baileys but then I spotted all day yest with no proper AF - that has NEVER happened before. I can't read too much into it though as technically last month was my first real period (as was on the pill for 11 years) so I don't actually know what normal is.

Hopemummi that does seem a bit early unless you are using frer. I'm only on the cheapies! But it does depend when you OV compared to the length of your cycle. I would suggest waiting until closer to 2 weeks - not called the 2ww for nothing! ;)

Hi Mrs, I used a Boots cheapie, I know about 2 weeks but some advice says you could get positive 4 days after ov. Maybe just super hopeful I don't af before the weekend otherwise no chance for implantation

Hopemummi chances are you haven't implanted yet . I'd if you ov'd on Saturday, you're only 5dpo, some people get a bfp around 10dpo at the earliest. For those that get it at 8dpo I'd say is rare, and probably have their ov dates not too accurate.

Hi Doctor I wouldn't worry about the whole wait a month thing due to you being quite early on.
I've read about the whole being more fertile thing, but I've also read conflicting things saying there's no proof so I don't know! Saying that I caught 2 months in a row so I'm feeling very hopeful for this month . Good luck to you!! Xx

Hi, I posted near the beginning of the thread saying I had my coil removed on 11th December. I was hoping I'd get back to normal quickly (and I know it's not long really) but I've only had irregular spotting so no idea where I am in my cycle.

I am dying to test! I think I o'd on dec 26 but I haven't temped or opk this month so not sure.
My husband's birthday is on the 4th which would make me 10dpo I'm very tempted to test that day.

I'm trying not to symptom spot but I felt a little crampy yesterday and I woke up this morning very hungry.....I know its too early to have symptoms but I can't help it

Hi ladies! Happy New Year!!

Well af just arrived for me a whole week early, so that's a shitty record breaker being a 19day cycle!!!! :/ I was sick though with a viral/sinus thing so I'm hoping that it's to do with that and the meds I took for it!!!!
On a positive note, I can remain on the Jan bus as I will now be due next af at end of Jan!

Starting to get twitchy here! Af due in 3 days...very tempted to buy some hpts...but if I have them in the house I'll only be tempted to test!

I'm 10dpo and just POAS with an internet cheapie. BFN!! I'm gutted.

I knew it was too early because if it was successful this month, chances are implantation would have been likely yesterday, but I still did it and now feel really disappointed.

AF is due on the 8th. In the meantime, can anyone throw me a shred of hope? Do you know of anyone who got a bfn on 10dpo but went on to get a bfp?

Hi mum2kiss, my stat buddy :) well, stupidly, I just decided to test and not surprisingly I got a bfn.... I forgot about this impatient side of me that showed its ugly head when ttc dc1! I think I will wait now til Monday to test again because of my last two cycles being different lengths (31d then 34d) and when I tested for ovulation, it was two days later than i had expected.... so maybe I'm not totally out of the January race to bfp but we have a break in the Peak District booked for a few weeks so plenty of time to dtd!! (DD dependent, lol!) xxx

Bump... I got a BFN 13dpo! Went out and had a drink to drown my sorrows. Next morning, threw up. Tested and got a BFP! He is now 17 months. There is still hope. Fx for you.

Oh my word. So since I just posted that last post, my test seems to have developed a bit more and I am sure there's a faint line there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did post literally five minutes after I'd poas so maybe this cheapie asda one took a bit longer than it said?!

It's stressing over BFNs that made me decide in November to only test when I was significantly late. That very month I got my BFP. I'm going with that again now. This whole thing is enough of an emotional roller coaster without adding further downs (I know it works for others - but I have a history of depression).

I'm jumping on this bus!!

Doc, that's so true. It's so easy to get caught up in it all and you can end up actually making yourself ill - mentally and physically, ime. I got so upset every month (for seven months) when we were ttc dc1 and I got a bfn. Then I said to dh that we had one last month to try or I'd buy another horse..... And it was like I'd taken the pressure off myself and fell pregnant that month. So alas, no horse but a gorgeous dd both as messy, smelly and high maintenance as each other though!!

Eeek!!! Looked at the test again and there's such an obvious line there!!! Need dh to come home nooowwww!!

I will test again in the morning just to be sure. I think I did ten tests with dd ;)

Choccy I didn't even take a single vitamin this month (bad of me I know but I really was forgetting about ttc for Christmas as didn't want the stress)! But seems that I do require conception vits at the very least as never had a cycle this short!
