Is there a January bus yet?!!

Hi everyone my AF appeared on 3rd December, so got kicked off the December bus pretty early! But couldn't see a January bus yet!! My stats are TTC #2 cycle 5 BFP due 8th Jan.

Happy belated Xmas to everyone! Thanks kitty and any other newbies will try to update the list when I'm next on the mac.
Well hopefully I ovulated this week cause we've managed to DTD nearly every day. I don't use Opks though as cause of my PCOS not sure they work so I've heard! So I just go my the cramps I get! This is if I'm actually ovulating though!

How's everyone else? Hope the 2ww goes quick for everyone who's in that now!

Hi all, me again. can i board the bus please? Lovely and sorry to see a few familiar 'faces'. Af kicked me off the dec bus and being a day late I just got my hopes up. She is so cruel even around Xmas.

I'm throwing venos at this cycle I don't have an obvious change in cm I think so the help would be good. Can anyone using it give me an idea of how much and when they start taking it please! bumpngrind seems like it worked for you?

Morning all. Sazzle sorry about AF, hope you have been enjoying all the lovely Christmas food this week and that this cycle will be your lucky one. I was using veno's expectorant for all the correct reasons this month so was using it three times a day for nearly a week, it just coincided the first week of my cycle. I did really notice a difference.

The other thing that's supposed to increase ewcm is grape fruit juice but I bought that and it was just too horrible.

Thanks bump, yes I'd be using the venos to just increase cm as I could do with the help. I did try grapefruit juice and didn't mind it but I didn't feel it increased it much - but I may have started too late...

Ruby - thanks for the CBFM advice. I thought the first few cycles the monitor needed to get used to things. Maybe I should be pleased I got my two little egg signs when I expected them in this case! We didn't actually pay too much attention to the monitor about dtd. But I was a happy girl when I got the egg sign as successfully managed to dtd the night before. Then dtd for the two egg days too.

Need to do a catch up with all the posts. But I'm excited for our January bus. Good luck everyone.

Sleepingstarsmommy TTC #1 cycle 2 BFP due 24th Jan.

Were are TTC #1 despite 4 previous pregnancies (3 early miscarriages and our son was born sleeping in sept) and have previously always caught on our first cycle so Im a bit to be on cycle two.

Will therefore be employing every tactic going this month - off to boots to buy cbfm, preseed, venos, basal thermometer. Will also be ordering IC opks just because I love to POAS and eating pineapple core later in the month.

I've been taking Robitussin which has the active ingredient guaifenesin for mucus thinning. Not had any ewcm yet but have noticed an increase in watery like cm. Been busy dtd with dh, he's really 'on board' this month instigating it more than me! AF finished cd5 and we have dtd cd6, 8,9,10 today is cd11. Due to Christmas post not got my ic OPKs arrived yet so not been able to do those. So just going at it and hope we are getting it right! According to be fertility apps and cycle lengths I ov anywhere from cd11 to cd18! So that's a long potential fertile window!
Anyone else the same?

Kittyrose I'm also on cd 11 today and FF is showing me a supposed fertile window of cd12 to cd31! So we have just scrapped opks & cbfm for this month and just seeing how we get on. My cycle is all over the place post pill and what I think was a chem preg last month so I guess it could be any time.

Your DH sounds like he is determined, good for him . Fingers crossed!

Anyone using FF app. I'm new to it, normally use my cbfm which I like but wanted extra help as I am into cycle 14 now.... Is FF any good if I'm not temp charting? I have a ds that sometimes gets me up in the night so not sure if I was temping whether it would be accurate enough? Does it have to be the same time every morning? Thanks ladies, and although I'm disappointed to be on another bus, it makes ttc better having all your support and kind words!

Hi all, Just been kicked off the December bus cycle was 41 days this time. Had cycles of 41 days, 41days, 29 days, 36 days and 41 days since I have been keeping note.

I really thought it would be our month but it's bloody not

At least I can get drunk at a party tonight and New Year's Eve!

sazzle and spinning, sorry to see you kicked off the Dec bus.

sazzle, I use ff but don't temp anymore. You can set it to be based on opks/cbfm and other signs if you don't temp. I find it ok without temping, but it's not brilliant. I don't know if there is anything else out there which works better if you aren't temping though.

Hello ladies, can I join. Currently TTC #1, cycle 3 BFP/AF due around 25th Jan. I'm also giving the venos a try this month - when should I start taking it?

This ttc process is a whirlwind of emotions!

We have some close friends coming to stay this weekend. They are/were intending to start ttc around now. She has just text me to say they have some news but will tell us tomorrow. Something tells me it will be that she is pregnant. If it is that, it's amazing news. But also makes me feel all over the place! DH just smiled happily when I told him. In my next life I want to be a man so I can avoid these ups and downs of ttc . What a process it is!

I'm not sure what a break means in terms of my stats - do I go back to cycle1 or do I remain on cycle8 (I think?) c1 sounds better psychologically!

Oh wow this bus is really filling up. This year singing auld Lang syne will be the start of a fabulous month for us all hopefully.

Can I ask at what dpo do you begin testing? I've seen on previous threads that people test around 10dpo. Would that be the best day do you think?

DH said but you dont have a cough so had to explain why I wanted it in the middle of the shop which caused the old dear by us to raise her eyebrows He just gave me a strange look, shook his head and threw it in the basket. Can I ask how much you take? Is it just like you would for a cough??

BumpNGrind I tend to start POAS everyday sometimes twice a day from around 9 dpo. I use ICs initially but will bring out the digis if and when I get line.

This is my first month of feeling a bit sad/desperate about this ttc business...I just thought I'd be one of the lucky under 3 month people and now have the feeling if I'm not in that camp then I'll probably never get pregnant. I'm joining the bus to snap myself out of this ridiculous thinking and be positive instead with all of you guys because some of us will definitely be pregnant this time next month and be rocking our little babies on their first Christmas this time next year

Bump.....I use opk from cd 6 but that's because I only used them properly last month and realised I ov'd earlier than I thought! I have a stash of ic from Amazon!

Sazzle.....I use ff, it's ok. I don't temp but its handy to record other data

Sorry Bump....I thought you'd asked about opk's but see it was pt!! Just come home from another Festive family gathering and probably had too much wine!

Last proper period 19th November.

Spotting 8-12th December but negative tests.
So if I take the spotting as my last period AF is due 7th January.
