Hi, I'm a newbie here and ttc newbie as well! I'm looking for buddies to share experience. Who's with me?Experts tips always welcome
We've been ttc for fe months, before NTNP. However now I'm starting to feel the pressure for BFP.

You're def more adventurous than me with hair then if you've been pink Not sure whether I should confess to approximately 7 years of exactly the same style. Sometimes i do go mad and ask for a shade lighter with my highlights, but that's as far as it goes!!!

Have you got to swot up this weekend then or is it more of an informal chat affair?

Mine was full blonde for years before than but Im natural brown so it's easier for roots this way!

No im just going to chill out this weekend I did all my prep yesterday and im going to wing the questions on the day! Ha risky I know but makes it a bit more fun if none of us know what's going to come out of my mouth!!

Have you used any apps with regards to your cycles i've been playing with fertility friend in preperation for next month's cycle. Giving temping another go too!

Hope your chinese was scrummy wood We've had a friend to stay so it's all been go but had a nice time, curled up on sofa now as knackered from two late nights, can't hack the pace these days!!!

Apps wise I'm using fertility friend. Not paying for it though, just using it to chart my cycles. Like it for that, it's helped me see my luteal phase and for the last two cycles it's been spot on when af would arrive (barring the ridiculous 10mins after midnight thing last time!!) I gave up on temping after two cycles, didn't get on with it, found it made me keep waking up early as when I even stirred in the mornings my first thought was 'Ooo I need to do my temp' then I'd look at the clock and it was always something ridiculous starting with a 5 then I couldn't get back to sleep!! But think it is a good thing in terms of allowing you to see ov day if you can master it so good luck!!

So sorry AF got you one and that you don't have your letter yet. At least it is March now and so you appointment is this month. I'd keep pestering them, it's the only way.

Wood, hoping those OPKs were positive for you. I never did the ones with lines so can't really offer any advice re darkness of lines etc, but hoping it was.

We spent the weekend in Belfast with friends which was great, but that's it now, no more trips booked. Am slightly bricking it cos have a special consultants appointment tomorrow because they think baby is a bit too small (how can she be with all the cake?!?!). Hopefully nothing to worry about but it concerned me that midwife referred us to the consultant - but we get a looksy inside via the ultrasound again. Just so hoping there's no problems and she's just a bit little. Belly is definitely growing so that's a good sign I think.

Can't believe it's March already, how did that happen??!

Hello ladies. sorry for being totally absent. I have just been consumed by RL. Work has been crazy.. My cat got run over.. :( dp's birthday/engagement party, & best friend leaving do have alk kept me very busy.

This month I have used ic opks & the cbfm for first month. I don't know if I Ov as I never got a positive opk or a peak on cbfm just high all the way from cd6 to yesterday when i had fed it 20 sticks and I got a low. Dtd a few times around when my app says and if I did Ov then I'm on 12dpo. Since wed I've had terrible thrush which is very unusual for me.. Apart from that nothing even remotely like a symptom. AF due on 9th.

so that's where I am! I'm now going to read back and see what I've missed xx

Do you know what the difference is with the paid fertility friend app is onelife ive only got the free one and it seems thorough enough. If it can take my temp without waking me up though ill consider it!!

Vicky Glad to have you back, I was going to PM you today, I think the last we had heard from you is you had a fall so I was starting to panic!!

What time is your appointment tomorrow? Im sure everything will be fine and its good that they are checking it out either way but hopefully it just turns out to be a cheeky free scan!

broody Sounds like things have been non stop for you!! Im really sorry about your cat. Both of my cats have been ran over before and its horrible, They were both ok but its horrible to go through! Im currently being squashed into the corner of the sofa by a big ginger fluff ball!

Do you think the thrush could have stopped your Ov this month? If I remember right onelife has a CBFM so may be able to help with using it?

According to my app im due on the 6th I think I will leave it till the 10th CD 35) and if no AF ill restart my meds, I had a crappy period last month and unsure on the OPKs if I actually got a high so will wait and see!!

One I can't believe you still have to wait for your letter. That sucks. I would be running up to meet the postie too. You sound like you are being remarkably patient to me! Also I've had the same hair style for 3 years and don't have any plans to change!

Vicky that sounds totally crappy and like something that would happen to me about your post holiday car troubles. Hate that you fell over to.. hope that seeing as I've been very slow with my catch up you are long over it now.

Wood hope your interview went BRILLIANTLY. I use 5 different apps. obsessive they all have a different idea on when I'll ov and get period and like to check them all in my 2/3ww. good luck temping I've been thinking about it but I'm worried if I add it to the list of things I'm doing ttc I'll finally go nuts!

Wood. ooh I hadn't even thought about Thrush delaying Ov. I was just lying here thinking I could feel Ov like twinges.. but it would be so late?? Hope AF turns up and surpises you in a way so you don't need to take meds again. it must be tough never really knowing what's going on. .

One have you had any luck with a peak on a cbfm?

Sorry for the radio silence wood I was ok after my fall, apart from a huge hole in my knee. Baby got checked out and was fine, luckily they are well protected in there.

broody 5 apps?! are you mental?? I would be so confused haha. Your going to be on day 20 odd aren't you? I can imagine you might have skipped one, Did you google it?

Still no letter one id be going a bit hulk on them now I think!!

Interview went as well as I could have hoped but im still the only one that isn't from that department already with the background knowledge so trying not to get my hopes up too much!

Yeay you're all back!!

Wood, glad you were happy with your interview, how long have you got to wait to find out? Letter wise, I am sitting on my hands!! But have decided if still nothing by the end of this week I'll be right on it first thing next week!!! Fertility friend wise, if you've only just joined think you get three months 'free' use of their privilege bit, which analyses your cycles more and tells you info about your cycle. Once that expires you move on to the 'free' but, which lets you temp, and chart your cycle, still predicts ov etc. but doesn't 'analyse' further than that. Sorry, that's not a great explanation, I tired from work!! I'm happy with the free bit as it tells me what I need to know.

Vicky, hope your scan went ok? Best to get her checked out and nice that you'll have seen her again today. You may find they want to keep an eye on you as that happened to a friend of mine, never a bad thing in my book.

Broody, your poor cat, so sorry Cbfm wise, yes mine has detected peaks, although I have read so many people who have only had highs. Are you on the Cbfm user club thread? Can't remember, sorry if you are, but if not it may be worth checking that out, although it may have zombied but still got the info on there to look at. I'm not using my monitor this cycle, using up old pack of cb opks instead, then deciding what to do, it's so expensive all this!!! 5 apps???! Ha, love it!! I struggle keeping my 1 up to date, I would take my hat off to you if I was wearing one!!

I know 5 apps is mental. But by nature I'm the kind of person that likes lists and notes etc and I guess it just helps me feel in control of something I'm not in control of! plus when one app say something I don't think is right I check the others! so the my days app always says I'm due to Ov approx 3 days after I normally do and another app always gets it spot on but isn't as good for putting in when we've dtd etc! But mainly it is a bit obsessive I know!

I'm on CD 28 13dpo wood good idea I'll google it.. Hope I haven't missed an ovulation seems like a waste of a month!

broody 5 apps is a bit mental, but sounds like the sort of thing I would do too....I feel a little trumped now with my 3 apps ;)

one good plan, hoping and wishing that whilst you are sat on those hands your letter will come through your letter box when you least expect it.

Well, appointment went sort of ok. Baby is still teeny but has grown steadily over the last 4 weeks, so she's bigger than she was but the same level of teeny on the scale if that makes sense. I now have to have consultant scans every 3 weeks and have had some extra blood tests done to check that her small size is not due to any nasties (infections etc). I'm now v scared about the blood test results but should get them back within a week.

So, we're in a bit of limbo really. I'm pleased she's continuing to grow on her own little trajectory, that is very promising, but it's worrying that it could be due to other reasons than just her being a bit small.

I hate all the unknowns, it's so hard when everything is out of your control.

She's wriggling away like mad though so hopefully that's all part of the growing process. Hoping she has a bit of a growth spurt in the next few weeks.

So it's count down to blood results and then to next scan on 25th March for me.

I have no symptoms of af or bfp so who knows what's happening this month!!

Vicky obviously some very good signs there just got to keep positive till you get your results im sure shes just trying to scare you! Or maybe she just wants to say hello with all the scans!!

Will you phone them for results or will they come to you? Sending positive thoughts your way!!

Has anyone gave anything up for lent? No cutting out food for you vicky. Maybe you should add some for lent!! Im not going to buy anything I dont need for lent!!

Vicky fingers crossed for you. I bet she's just growing at her own pace and will have a spurt! I've given up alcohol for lent! started early and haven't had anything this month... dp also not drinking this week! He won't make lent though

hi ladies hope you dont mind me joining!
I am currently CD 25, 5 days until AF due. This is our first cycle of trying so its most probably wishful thinking but I feel different - cramping since sunday and generally a bit sickly..... Im normally regular as clockwork and only start with cramp the day before AF... so F firmly C!! I have caved and POAS which was bfn so going to leave it til mon/tues and if AF not arrived will do another then.
