Hi, I'm a newbie here and ttc newbie as well! I'm looking for buddies to share experience. Who's with me?Experts tips always welcome
We've been ttc for fe months, before NTNP. However now I'm starting to feel the pressure for BFP.

PS W - Yeay about the kitchen aid, now all you need is a brood of kiddies to bake for hint hint fertility fairy....

If I've got my dates right I've got 10 days left of 2ww! But still dtd every other day to make sure.

I've got a lot of cramping but again think I'm symptom spotting
Everyone tells me you just know!

Happy Halloween all! I am currently working my way through the treats I bought in case any little kiddies come trick or testing tonight, let's hope we don't get many cos they will be disappointed!!

Well I think you can find out baby's sex at round 16 weeks so we've got a while to wait yet........will let you know though (all being well and all that).

Fingers, legs and eyes crossed for you wood hope the next few days pass by speedily and AF stays away.

Also hoping the fertility fairy treats you all well this month - I have informed her we are ALL going to be prefers by Christmas :)

I'm on a new 2ww now, first midwife appointment is 2 weeks tomorrow so the wait begins.

Oh and wood you're totally right, the foil paper is easier to re-wrap after peeking and magic tape is so much easier to unpeel than Sellotape!

Ha ha trick or testing......I clearly have testing on the brain!! If only they were coming round for OPKs or HPTs I would have loads of stuff to hand out, but chocolate, nope, afraid I've eaten most of that

Ive had a few AF types cramps this evening only very slight though, if its coming id rather it be sooner rather than later. OH has booked flights to see his parents next month in Spain and I have no holidays left and its right around the time of predicted Ov!

I take it you have gone for the clearblue ones broody? I think its the best choice even if its expensive!

Hello all

No trick or treaters for me but I live in a flat with a building that has a buzzer/intercom entry and so I suppose they don't bother.

I'll be at work on Saturday and then OH is playing golf on Sunday my only day off so I think I'll lounge on the sofa

I've got cheapy Amazon ones and 20 clear blue... cheapy ones for first couple of days when I think I'm unlikely to get a smiley face and then CB for when I'm predicted to be ovulating... In an effort not to get obsessed and use all 20 at once as they are expensive.... I've just seen though that OH's friends are supposed to be staying over my predicted ovulation days... I'm guessing it's not generally acceptable to revoke an invitation to stay in our spare room because we are ttc and want to dtd??!!

like you say hope if AF is on the way she doesn't delay so you know where you are still got my fingers crossed though w

wood I know what you mean, if it is AF she should just get on with it - BUT I am very much hoping it is not AF and that she is far far away and not planning on visiting any time soon!

Good plan with the OPKs broody sounds like you've got it covered. Hopefully you can still DTD (quietly) even if you have people staying!

Latest news from over this way is that I saw my bean's teeny little heartbeat today, so lovely to see, made it all feel so real - and of course like the nutjob I am I had a little cry - so I just need to look after it now and hope it's comfy in there

Hi one it was a private early pregnancy/dating/ viability (such a horrid word) scan. I just needed to know there was something in there. So now it's the countdown to the proper 12 week scan in early December - gosh that feels an age away!

Broody Remember that with clearblue your first day is always blank so don't do one of those too late or you might miss your peak!!

No AF for me yet! But im defo not hoping for a quick weekend!! got lots of baking/diy to do!! going for a keylime cheesecake & 2 tier cake, maybe even meringues. Party at mine

AF has still not arrived and I'm going mental. I want to keep going to the loo but I'll look like a weirdo in work! My body is teasing me with cramps!!

I am confused with my opks my cheapy amazon ones say not to use first wee of the day but CB says I should! Also this is CD 12 for me on an average cycle of 32 days... CB says to test from CD 11 but cheapy say from CD 15!! any advice?!

yes only CB are first morning. Make sure you dont drink too much before the afternoon cheapies it might dilute the results

broody yes the CB ones are FMU but the others are for the afternoon. If in doubt I'd start trying earlier - will cost more in the long run but you'll be sure not to miss anything!

Im not exactly sure. I know my cousin didn't eat it but I think they were being a bit over cautious. I think your ok with baked.. you would be ok with mine its not got cream cheese in it (think thats the bad part)

Im defo not going to test. I think I would be more accepting of AF Than seeing a negative if that makes sense..

V, if its not to nosey a question, and please feel free to not answer won't be offended, how much was your private scan and how did you arrange it? Thinking I'd like to do the same if I ever get there as know I won't be able to wait til 12wks without some kind of reassurance. Hope you're feeling ok, any new symptoms?

Are we all in the 2ww now? I've used fertility friend for the first time to chart, I like it, v informative!! And so far i've scored 100% on the tests, Yeay me

Thanks onelife i've not had much else on the brain today other than visiting the loo a lot!!

We have decided if AF does arrive then we are going for the SMEP starting as soon as AF finishes.

Going for a loo check soon i'm addicted haha
