Hi, I'm a newbie here and ttc newbie as well! I'm looking for buddies to share experience. Who's with me?Experts tips always welcome
We've been ttc for fe months, before NTNP. However now I'm starting to feel the pressure for BFP.

Aah thank you ladies :) still in shock!

Told DH last night and he was quite shocked (I told him AF arrived on Fri and we made plans to try harder this month) but very excited! I did another test yesterday eve so had 5 in all, I wrapped them up pass the parcel stylee with the digi one in the middle and gave him the pressie when he got in.

Excitement has just turned to nerves now, such a waiting game. I can't get a dr appointment until 6 weeks so need to wait a whole week. And no scan until 12 weeks, that's ages!

Have bought loads of tests to keep checking, so far so good I think. This morning strong BFP but tonight a little fainter, hoping that's because I drank and peed loads during the day.

onelife 8dpo is great, hang in there. I like your willpower.

Its fab news I think it gives us a bit of hope! defo one down and two to go!! we all WILL be preggers by xmas!!

I have no news, im expecting a bit of a month like last months, I had no signs of anything!!

I have 4 bedrooms now and they need to be filled!!

Definitely all preggers by Christmas!! Wouldn't that be so lovely.

Ha ha that's a question woodwaj! For some reason I always just envisage myself having boys a whole troop hopefully and being like the lady of desperate housewives, and part of me would just love a minature cheeky chappy version of DH (is that weird) BUT, I always think people that have girls are so lucky and it would be cool to have that whole mother/ daughter thing.

Either would be so nice, I just really hope this little bean sticks, I'm so nervous of it all going wrong, and the wait seems epic.

How about you, when you get your Pre-Christmas BFP, any preference?

Vicky That's interesting. Did you actually get a proper period? Or was it just spotting or discharge?

Hi VJ hope you're doing ok. I thought I had the beginnings of a proper period but it never turned into one. It was the oddest 'period' I've ever had. More than spotting, i.e. lots when I wiped, but only very very dark brown (no red) and kind of EWCM like - but brown.

Sorry for all that detail but I know you're worried so thought detail would help!

Are you having something like your normal start to AF or different?

Oh, and VJ it was 4 days earlier than AF was due so around 9/10 dpo (if I got my ov date right)

It's normal and this morning I wanna cry again. Lp hasn't changed at all after three months and I've been on b6 for the last two. What do I do if this is the way it's going to be for me?? :(

Ah VJ I'm sorry to hear that. I will keep my fingers crossed for you for this next cycle. I don't know much about B6 but I know a few of the ladies on the October bus have been taking it. I know it's the last thing you want to hear but it might just be a case if your body settling back down after the pill (I'm pretty sure I remember you stopped in recent months??)

Have you tried regular conception multivitamins? If not maybe give those a go?

Or I guess you could try to talk to yor GP for advice on how to extend LP?

Im on month 13 VJ and you have had more in the few months than I have all this time, Stress can play a part in it too so try and relax (easier said than done right!)

I always wanted a girl but my best friend had a boy just over a year ago and its totally changed my mind!!

A bit of news from me today, had a few aches and pains in my both my left and right side and thought nothing of it, went to the loo after work and had a lot of clear CM. Im thinking I could be due to OV very soon?! I got no symptoms last month.

Also my cousin has been induced today which i'm really exciting about. She's due on Monday but has signs of preeclampsia so fingers crossed everything goes well there!

OH has a friend over visiting the new house so waiting on him going home!!!

No new baby yet...! Her DH couldn't stay past 9pm so he's on standby at home! fingers crossed for tomorrow! I have a day off so baby visiting would be very nice!!

Best of luck for your cousin, I hope it's a speedy delivery, but also that her DH can be there to share, so exciting. Let us know when it arrives, we need details, name, sex, weight etc.

I spent the afternoon with a good friend of mine and her 9 month old, so lovely, made me feel all broody :) but totally had to fess up when he cracked a bottle of wine open. Didn't want to tell as way too soon but i love my wine and it was so obvious!

Yeah his friend pissed off about 11!! I was looking at dates and im not even sure if it's possible to ov.. my period only ended last Friday. . Ill have to google later and see if clomid can speed up ov

Hey woodwaj, glad you got some dtd in. If your body is showing any kind of sign i would just go for it, but not too much as don't want to wear his little fellas out Have fun!

2ww going well thanks (ha! never said that before!) Have a v bizarre feeling that it's going to go my way, can't explain it and can't believe i'm even typing it but i just have this strong sense that i 'know' im pregnant. AF due tmrw or Sun so if no show plan is to test Monday, really hoping i'm not going to end up looking like a tool but it is genuinely how i feel, weird hey! Well only time will tell, keep your fx please ladies

woodwaj I agree with one go for it if there is any sign at all that it could be ov ( which it sounds like it could be). Ov can come early or late for many reasons and as you have been on the Clomid it could have just moved it forward, ou never know.

one I really like your positive thinking and will be so pleased if you get your BFP! A woman's intuition isn't often wrong. I'm so impressed with your will power to wait to test too. :) fingers crossed tightly for you.

I googled it this morning and its actually normal to ov early on clomid. Hopefully I haven't missed it I will dtd again tonight. I found some really good info including why I had a scan...which I haven't heard about so I think that's a good thing.

No testing till Monday! Good luck with that, I hope your feelings are right!!!

A few symptoms over here, mainly peeing like a trooper, was at father in laws house today and must have gone 5 times in a few hours!

Other than that ok, apart from having ridiculous boobs, they are huge and every time I look in the mirror I have to laugh

I'm 27 and tcc for 4 months, I came off the bcp mid June and have had 2 37 day cycles and 2 30 day cycles.
Do you think this is my system getting back to normal.
I'm getting a bit stressed

Hi jenny welcome to the madness. It does sound like it is just your system getting back to normal after the pill, I stopped taking my BCP in July and had 34/35 day cycles.

Have you tried temping or using OPKs? Different things work for different people and some people prefer to use nothing at all, but I found OPKs were really useful and let me know a) that I was ovulating and b) when I ovulated. For me that was a great comfort after taking the pill for so long and it meant we could focus on DTD at the right time. If your cycle vary in length then that could help you pinpoint when you ovulate each cycle.

There's also the monthly bus thread which is great, November Bus has just started, and there's usually around 50-60 ladies all ttc at various stages so some complete newbies on cycle 1 and some that have been trying much longer. I have also found these threads great and everyone is lovely.

Sadly there was no need as af showed up right on time yst Feeling v blue bout it all as don't understand why I felt so different&so certain when clearly it was nothing all along. Know I'll feel better soon&ready for the fun bit again but at the mo just feel so tired with it all.

Congrats on your second cousin woodwaj! (think that's right isn't it, if it's your cousin's child?) How are things, are you still dtd or entered the 2ww?
