I am on cd 23 and have had some bleeding like af, no af signs, had this last wed/thurs then nothing and now sat/sunday with big clot sunday. Just old blood today and no real af like signs or symptoms. AAAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH
why does everything seems so difficult?????!!!!!

Ps. please says it could be implantation!!!! I need sum hope!

Sexonlegs · 12/06/2006 11:30

Hi Gemma, welcome to the boat! It could well be implantation bleeding - when did you ovulate do you know? I think it usually takes 5 days after the egg and sperm have met for implantation to occur - if it is going to. I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.
Anyway, fingers crossed and keep us posted on happenings!!

gemmaseascout · 12/06/2006 11:42

Hi there, any news wrighty??!! I have still been having really light bleeding and period pains since yesterday, so think af is well and truly on her way.

Hiya, I am keeping everything crossed for you! Let us know.
We have only been trying for 3 months - already have 1 dd aged 3, but really want another. Fell pregnant with dd after 1 month, so have high expectations!
Really think period is coming though this month which is a pain. We had so much sex this month!!

wright4845 · 13/06/2006 22:10

Good luck wright4845, my implantation bleed is now 14 months and asleep in her cot. My bleed was brownish, about period time, lasted about 2/3 days. I thought it was a strange period but no. Really keeping fingers crossed for your pg tests.

Also had some (red) spotting after my BFP, but she hung on in there. Hope you get good news too.

wright4845 · 14/06/2006 06:43

thank you financially that was lovely. Really hope i'm as lucky as you. X

hiya :)

I had an implantation bleed when I fell pg with ds. in fact I thought it was a period and didn't do a test until two weeks later when I passed out at work. But tbh having had an implantation bleed is a pita because now we're trying for baby no 2 I get hopeful whenever I get a slightly different period.

Also you should really try not to be so disheartened already considering you've only just come off the pill. It's worth remembering that an average, fertile couple can take up to a year to conceive, so you should rather tell yourself that it is going to take longer than thinking that it won't happen if you don't fall pg straight away. if you think like that ttc will take over your life and will become a very miserable experience. Also you should be careful saying to people that "at least you've got one", for people who already have a child, ttc can be just as stressful for someone who already has a child, and their inability to fall pregnant is no less signifficant than someone who is unable to fall pregnant with their first child. Of course I'm sure you didn't mean it to be offensive in any way, but it's just worth remembering that there are quite a few people on these boards who already have children but who have been ttc for 1/2/3 years for second children and wor whom the experience is just as painful and who might not appreciate being told that "at least you've got one".

Hope this month works out for you,

good luck x

gemmaseascout · 14/06/2006 10:57

My "bleed" has stopped now and on cd 25 so fingers crossed. Gonna test saturday!!!

wright4845 · 14/06/2006 15:20

hi all! I hope i didn't offend anyone with my comment as suggested (esp. sexonlegs!), was flippant remark and i often speak before i think which i know is bad Blush but i mean well.

no movements today. Gonna test later on in the week i think. Hope you're all ok. I'm enjoying ttc at the moment, quite exciting.

rubles · 14/06/2006 15:36

LOL, I think it's only exciting in retrospect then it's over and you have the two lines on an hpt Grin.

I haaaaate it!!

Sexonlegs · 14/06/2006 17:31

Hi wrighty, no offence taken at all. I know I am extremely lucky to have 1 dd already, as I know there are many out there who are unable.
Rubles, you made me laugh - do you mean you don't enjoy sex!?
I heard something on the radio today that said that 50% of woman would rather go on a shopping spree! Couldn't possibly comment!!!!

wright4845 · 14/06/2006 18:08

so glad you weren't offended. was worried! gonna do hpt tomorrow morning very early. It'll be negative though. do you think i'm mad? should i wait?

OP posts:
Sexonlegs · 14/06/2006 18:26

When is your af due? I would hold out until the day it is due or a day or two after to be honest. So, no more bleeding? Fingers crossed for you hun. xx

wannaBe1974 · 14/06/2006 18:32

wright4845 if I were you I would wait for at least 5 days, as hcg doesn't start to be produced until implantation has occurred and generally it's recommended that you wait until 5 days after implantation in order to get an accurate result. Personally I'd wait for as long as possible, but I've had very bad experiences so I'm now very scinical :O

wright4845 · 14/06/2006 18:35

Not sure exactly as last af was 33 days but was first one not pill induced but my 28th day would be Friday. i had read that early tests can read positive and for whatever reason (natural selection) AF can still come which would be devastating. I'm away camping at the weekend so not best envirnment to test in. Could wait til saturday though and do in toilet block, wouldn't kill me. Think I'll take your advice. i know it's better idea deep down. SIGH!

OP posts:
Sexonlegs · 14/06/2006 18:41

It's hellish waiting I know, but it would be best to hold out. I will keep everything crossed for you - let us know how you get on. xx

rubles · 14/06/2006 20:11

Sexonlegs no!! I just meant I hate the waiting and not knowing and obsessing and then the disappointment and then starting all over again...and round and round and round..

Sexonlegs · 14/06/2006 20:24

Oh I see Rubles! Apologies! Mind you, do you not find it gets a bit mechanical when you are ttc? Not you personally, but out there in general ladies? I know my sil did!

wright4845 · 14/06/2006 20:32

I know what you mean SOL (can't be bothered typing sexonlegs everytime)it did become mechanical. i didn't tell hubby it was fertile phase but think he guessed because we had it every day and nothing since! Bless him!
